Location:
This large spacious home is located in Pisgah Forest (off of Kentwood Lane) and 15 minutes to downtown Brevard. It is also an hour from south-west of downtown Asheville, an hour to Asheville Regional airport. 45-minute drive to Greenville, South Carolina.

Description:
Surround yourself with the beauty of nature while you vacation at Sweet Refrain, a mountain getaway nestled in Pisgah Forest. Sweet Refrain will have you falling in love with the Smokey Mountains and have you yearn to stay longer! Many guests return to this upscale newly remodeled home, year after year. This home has several levels. Starting on the first level, it features a living room and laundry room. Upstairs on the second level you will find a spacious and naturally lighted grand room, made of the living room and updated kitchen. The kitchen has all modern appliances with plenty of counter space that will bring out the chef in any person. Additionally, on this level there are two bedrooms accented with designer-colored walls. The best feature of this whole house are large windows on this level, that peer out into the Pisgah Forest. You will find your peace and tranquility just sitting on the couch in the living room looking out those windows. You can also get the same view from the open deck just a step outside the door. The third level features the Master Bedroom loft with a beautiful view of the grand room below.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions. The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Perfect quiet cabin!

Incredible views from main room; comfortable cabin for family of 5 (three teens). Wonderful location - close enough to town to go back and forth easily, but feels like you’re worlds away in the mountains once at the cabin!

Scenic getaway

Visited as two couples and a friend for my birthday and it was a great spot to be tucked up in the mountains but with easy access to all the biking we wanted. The communication was great and host was very responsive!

As advertised

The home was as advertised - clean, comfortable, lots of space, nice outdoor deck area. Easy to cook inside and outside. Nice neighborhood and easy access to downtown - everything was great.

The house was wonderful, but there are a few maintenance issues. The ceiling fans and lights need replacing in the 1st floor bedrooms. The chains on the fans don't work and it would help greatly if the lights were brighter. I would also suggest installing surge protector outlet strips since the outlets are hard to reach in the bedrooms especially if you use a cpap and need to charge your devices. The switch on the dryer is broken and required the use of vice grips to turn on. The ac for the first floor bedrooms seems to be struggling and took a while to cool the rooms. Also, I don't recommend storing dirty cleaning items with the linens. Just some suggestions to make future stays more enjoyable.We were never able to enter by the front door with the new lock.. we tried the code numerous times with no success.

Exceptionally wonderful stay! We will definitely stay again! Well stocked with food quality cookware, very comfortable beds and views were great. Quiet neighborhood. Loved it!!!

Thanks for this location and opportunity It was a great and met all our expectations. Close to Gorges, Pisgah, Dupont National Forests, Ashville, Brevard, breweries etc... Loved the deck and fireplace. Thanks for having us.

The views are worth it!

Lovely house with breathtaking views of the mountains. We had everything we needed apart from a fire pit. Comfy beds, clean well stocked kitchen. We will be back.

This was our favorite VRBO ever. It was a perfect spot for our two week vacation. The view was amazing and the porch was our favorite spot. The drive up is a typical mountain road but it is paved. Bathrooms and kitchen are recently updated. We loved the outdoor spaces. The only issue was the master bedroom is in the loft and there is NO door. They provide a curtain over the balcony but that’s it.

High living vacation

House was perfect. It was the cleanest place we have stayed in our favorite mountain town and we have stayed in the area the last three years. The house is exact as it is advertised. We loved the house and iis location ( can not see a neighbor and its very relaxing and only 10 to 15 minutes to Brevard, We hope to rent the same house next year. .

Great location, furnishings could be better.

Home, location, and view were great. What was cleanable was clean. The furnishings were not configurable in a way for guest comfort, watch TV, or hanging out in the same room. Some furnishings were broken or stained. House had some deferred maintenance.

Serenity & Peace

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time during our Thanksgiving stay at the cabin. We commend the property management team on everything done to make this a comfortable, clean and peaceful place for guests to spend time. The Blue Ridge Overlook scenery was absolutely amazing each day! We walked the neighborhood, visited waterfalls, enjoyed s’mores with our children and had just a wonderful time. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience. We would highly recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay and the house worked well for two adults, one kid and our dog.

We enjoyed our stay and the house worked well for two adults, one kid and our dog. The back deck is fully enclosed with a latched gate, perfect for the dog, and the house is on a pretty, forested circle which makes a great loop for walking the dog. Beautiful view out the huge living room windows. Clean, well maintained house and responsive rental services team. Well located 15 minutes from downtown Brevard. Everyone was responsive and friendly.
