1 Bedroom Cottage with Full Kitchen, Full Bath, W&D Walking distance to downtown

Unfortunately we did have the queen bed frame break from the renters just before this check in. There just wasn't time to get a new frame between turnover. We did have a brand new full size frame and mattress in our employee housing and thought that was better than having the box spring just sitting on the floor or a tilted mattress. The guests were notified of the bed size change at check in and we were unaware this was a problem. Had we been informed when we told them or at any point during their stay, (not just after and in the reviews) we could have come up with a solution fairly quickly. We had no idea there were ants inside and were only told thru text that there were "just a few around the front door" and not everywhere in the rental. We immediately put ant traps out as a temporary fix for the moment. Being that this rental is attached to our main house, an ant problem is not something we'd ignore or that we were aware of at all. This was a new problem we have since taken care of. We did have lightning hit a very large tree just outside the rental the week before that was professionally taken down with equipment and that must have disturbed an ant's nest in the process being that they were larger wood ants in the area. Again, simple communication during our guests stay can resolve most issues at the time of the problem and not after in the reviews.
