This is a great place to stay in a wonderful neighborhood. The waterfront park is a short walk away and there are many cafes, pubs, and restaurants nearby. There is even a Trader Joe's just around the corner. The apartment is well furnished and very quiet with a king sized bed. It's all very nice.

This Old Town Alexandria property was just right for us: well-located, close to everything we wanted to see , and outfitted with everything we needed. Our host was lovely and made sure we were welcome, with good tips on the neighborhood. Highly recommend the place for a couple.

We had a great time. Centrally located to jump on the train to DC or take a drive to Mt Vernon or Annapolis for an easy day trip. Great neighborhood to walk, with bars and restaurants under 1/2 mile away. We would stay again for sure. Host really does think of everything. Thanks.

Old Town

The location is great and there is so much to see and do in Old Town Alexandria. Or simple to venture out into DC, MGM or Mount Vernon. We’ll return for sure!

Stoddards

Rebecca thought of big things and little things for amenities and service - even a good selection of books. Location is walking distance of everything needed, including restaurants, retail, groceries and public transit. Bed comfortable and a good shower.

Felt like we were at home

The townhome provided excellent accommodations. It had all the required amenities, making us feel completely at home. We knew where everything was, and we lacked nothing! Checking in and accessing the home was effortless, and it was conveniently located within walking distance of the charming King Street. Since we frequently visit family in the area, we'll definitely be staying here again.

Perfection!

This small home is a perfect place to land after a long day of site seeing. Host has thought of everything! Perfectly located, 12 min walk to Braddock Rd Metro Station, close to King St, one stop from Ronald Regan airport. We hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Great location

Apartment is clean and cozy with everything you could want. It is a basement but daylight windows in bedroom and one higher window in living room. Very quiet for sleeping and comfortable bed and cotton sheets and duvet. Easy walk to river, Trader Joe’s, and light rail. Neighborhood felt very safe to walk day and night.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was perfect. The location was within walking distance to the Metro and Old Town. Rebecca the host thought of everything you may want or need. Several examples - umbrellas by the door in case it rains, bottled water in the refg, snacks, K-Cups for the coffee maker, etc. If you are looking for a place to stay in the DC area this is it.

Excellent home away from home!

Everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Alexandria is provided in this residence. You can walk to most anything you need or want to see. Host Rebecca is not only thorough in her maintenance and equipping of the apartment, she is responsive and helpful when needed. Lovely neighborhood, quiet, safe, and friendly. Thank you Rebecca for a lovely stay. I hope to return soon.

Great little city

My wife and I had the pleasure to have 5 wonderful days at a great cozy apt in Alexandria Va. Our host Rebecca was great, had everything ready for our arrival, easy entry to Apt. cleanliness inside, beautiful and quiet neighborhood . We were close to the Metro, and King St. for great Restaurants, and shops.Trips to DC on Metro were so easy. We would definitely stay at Rebecca’s if we return to the area again. 5 stars

Amazing place!!!

If you’re going to Wash DC this is a great find. You’re in a very quiet neighborhood, short 9min walk to the metro (or you can take the bus), few blocks from the river area, few blocks King Street where tons of yummy food is. If you’re driving an EV the charging station is half a block away. Rebecca is a super great host and is there should you need anything. It got a bit chilly and she made sure we had everything to stay warm. The apartment is very well maintained and super clean. She even had most of the major streaming platforms for something before bed. I can’t say enough how great of a find this was :)
