Excellent property in walking distance to Metro and included on street parking options. Our family had a wonderful stay seeing Washington DC and the surrounding area. Very clean and well equipped.

We stayed at this beautiful property while our house was on the market. It was a gem of a house and a perfect location for us and our dogs. The neighborhood is very friendly, quaint, and many walking trails. Highly recommend for humans and dogs!

Wonderful location and very workable for five of us. Maggie was very responsive and worked to make our stay nice. A minor cleanliness issue, but she was ready to make the cleaners aware of the problem. Overall a very nice stay!

Perfect location for anyone going downtown. Metro, trains, and buses just a short block away. Plus there are plenty of places to shop or eat within walking distance.

Great place to explore Alexandria and DC

The home was perfect for our stay in Alexandria. So close to the metro to DC and trolley to Old town. Fully equipped kitchen, clean and nicely decorated. Would stay again.

Our family of five enjoyed our stayIn this historic home. Location was Perfect distance to metro. Many shops,Restaurants, coffee shops were within walking distance. Neighborhood was safe.

Very nice with easy access to Metro and other public transportation. Very clean and well maintained. My wife and I and three teenage children found it comfortable and cozy. We would stay here again. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely the perfect home ,if you want to stay in the Alexandria/DC area. We hopped on the train into DC , just 1 block walk to metro. We went to the King street Farmers market in Alexandria, walked the steet into the shops , had lunch at a local place . Took the metro ito Arlington Cemetery, amazing place to see. The house has 2 - comfortable king beds, 1 comfortable queen room - washer / dryer . - We used IT daily. Stocked with suplies ,in kitchen and bathrooms . We loved it , ! Also, the local swimming pool is right behind the house , for just 3 dollars (senior,price) was able to use pool All day, cone and go as you please ! Perfect for families with kids. THE waterfront is at end if King Street, and you can hop on the water taxi there. Orctake a evening dinner cruise . WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE ON THE EAST COAST . ! ONE NOTE , the traffic is crazy busy SO expect extra tavel time if you take your car . My favorite thing was the Gorge Washington's Mount Vernon. one last mention-the host was kind enough to call , and say Hello . 🤍

The property was clean, functional, and perfect for our family of adults & teens (5). The 3 bedrooms and especially the 2 king beds allowed us the space to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The beds were super comfortable. Do expect the metro to rock you to sleep and the train horn to give you an early wake up call. The host included a white noise machine to help, and it did. My family of restless sleepers slept soundly. The location was also fantastic. The metro is a quick 5 or a peaceful 10 minute walk from the condo, which made the trip into the city so easily accessible. There are several restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Free street parking on the quiet street in front of the condo was greatly appreciated. The keureg, games, pet toys, and pack n’ play are nice touches. A bit of attention to the window coverings (mini blind repair or blackout curtains) would make this space even more excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Family winter trip

Great place and hostess! We really enjoyed our time in Washington and this is a great place to stay conveniently located near the Metro and King street restaurants and shops. The beds are comfy and it’s very clean. Check in and out was easy. All the comforts of home including fully equipped kitchen and coffee.

Arlington National Cemetery

Our family had a scheduled service at ANC and needed a location convenient to the Metro and Old Town Alexandria. This location was perfect especially since one of our family members was confined to a wheelchair.

Visiting DC - No Car, No ProblemPerfect home base for small families and young couples visiting DC museums and monuments. Five minutes from Metro station can take you close to virtually any major point of interest in DC as well as easy access to/from DCA Airport - set you phone for Transit or Express mode, then just tap-and-go. Bonus is 5-min to King St and Old Town Alexandria. Take the free trolley (and free Buses 30 & 31) or walk towards the waterfront and back. Whole Foods is 10-15 min walk while a small Safeway and Trader Joes are a short Uber to and from.House is great, and the host (Maggie) is even better! Anything we needed - extra towels, paper towels, pen and paper - Maggie could drop off while we were away.Downside is stairs, stairs, and stairs. Not a place if you have bad knees. Not practical if you have a walker or wheelchair. I'd imagine street parking is an adventure during winter months with snow and ice.

Centrally located

Close to shopping, dining, and the Metro. We were visiting family in the area & the location was excellent for this purpose. Maggie was a responsive host to all of our questions & needs. The only drawback for us old folks was that there was no bathroom on the main floor. Other than this, the place was bright, clean, & accommodating
