This lovely waterfront home on the Delaware Bay in Villas, NJ has been off the rental market for five years and has just been renovated! It has so much character and features gorgeous views and a crowd-free natural white sand beach ideal for beachcombing, dolphin watching, picnicking, kayaking & sunning. Enjoy amazing sunsets year round in this peaceful piece of paradise!

About a 15 minute drive to Cape May or Wildwood, this renovated 3 bedroom two-story Cape Cod unit is a beachfront dream! Your accommodations feature private access, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (both with showers but, sadly, no bathtub) and an upstairs kitchen/great room to take advantage of the bay vista so you never miss a sunset! Ample free street parking, outside shower, shuffleboard court, sand/fire pit (see photo), beach chairs, umbrellas, gas grill, bikes, etc. The beach is beautiful, peaceful and right outside your door!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
This home is located in VIllas, Lower Township, New Jersey, United States.
The Villas is a quiet residential neighborhood along the Delaware Bay known for its amazing sunsets and vast array of shore birds (keep looking up while you're here and you're sure to see an osprey heading inland with a fish in it's talons!). Approximately three miles north of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal, it is conveniently located for exploring the southern Jersey shore and its local culture. Yard-sales abound for weekend treasure hunters; gourmet and casual restaurants, wineries, lighthouses, beaches, Victorian Cape May, the famous Wildwood Boardwalk, Historic Cold Spring Village, Zip Lining at Tree to Tree Adventure Park [book ahead!], antiquing and Washington Street Mall shopping are all within a short car ride. Ocean beaches for surfing and boogie boarding, water parks, amusement rides, dolphin watching tours, fishing charters, parasailing, paddle boarding and all that fun stuff is available in Cape May and/or Wildwood proper, about 5-10 miles away by car. If you're feeling lucky, head up to Atlantic City, about a 55 minute drive across New Jersey's beautiful marshland. Should your trip to AC not turn out as planned, may I suggest the following:
MONDAY: Free Flag ceremony at Sunset Beach, 7 pm [also Wed and Sat] -- also recommended for souvenir shopping!
TUESDAY: West Cape May Farmer's Market, 3:00-7:30 pm
WEDNESDAY: Free concerts on the lawn at the Cape May Ferry grounds
THURSDAY: $5 pp all level yoga flow at Millman Center, 6 pm
FRIDAY: $18 pp Rock the Boat Ferry cruise -- check in 5:30 pm; free fireworks on Wildwood beach at 10 pm
SATURDAY: Downtown Wildwood Farmer's Market, 8 am-12:30 pm
ANY DAY: Beaches in Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood are free (pay to park), as is the beautifully maintained Cape May Zoo (donations per carload if you want to support your captive, captivating furry friends). The zoo is part of a large park with a great playground and picnic area (pack your own or buy food there) and also a free disc golf course (Bring Your Own Discs) and the zip lines at Tree to Tree Adventure Park (not free but SO MUCH FUN!!!); Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area for a walk, jog or run (freshwater fishing, too); grab a flashlight after dark and walk out to the beach in search of evasive [but not too elusive] ghost crabs -- you gotta be quick!; Pickle Ball courts about a 5 minute ride. Fisherman's Memorial on Cape May Harbor is a nice little spot to collect your thoughts or have a stroll with a friend, as you can park for free in the lot there and either head down to the small beach access or head up the street going left and left again to walk along the harbor bluff towards the Nature Center. Stop at the Lobster House Fish Market on your way back and pick up some of the sweetest, freshest scallops you will ever eat (with a little dusting of flour, salt and pepper and a pan full of hot melted butter you can prepare a gourmet meal that will rival any in Cape May!)
All that being said, a beach chair and about 30 steps will get you a front row seat to tranquility, always right outside your door.

Beautiful Sunsets

Had a great time! You can't beat the convience of being right on the beach, easy for going back and forth to the house. The beach is nice too, not big and very quiet, not alot of people around you. Its like your own private beach, our family was in the water every day. The house is easy to get to off of main routes and a short drive to Cape May or the Wildwoods. The house is well kept and the owners very attentive to our needs. They have everything you would need too enjoy your vacation. Would highly recommend!

Great stay on the bay

We stayed for a week at this quaint place. Adjacent to the beach and a completely safe neighborhood. Tracy, the host, was fantastic and provided more than we expected in terms of hospitality. Any problem we had figuring out things like the hot tub were remedied quickly. We were treated with welcome basket of food and drink as well as sunblock...great touches. We also didn't have to worry about what to do...even though we were working all week it was great to come back to the hot tub and all the various outdoor options (kayak, hobie cat, bikes, hot tub). Even when we left some items, Tracy sent them back to us. They were gracious hosts and made sure our stay was great. The only minor thing is we had several flies in the house but we took care of them ourselves. Thank you Tracy.

Absolutely Perfect in every way

We had the most amazing time. Tracy and Dennis have a beautiful home, right ON the beach. The hot tub, outdoor dining, clean, bright, beautiful house, and fire pit were a dream. We couldn't ask for anything more. We look forward to going back again.

Thank you to the owners for hosting us again at this great spot in Villas and close to all the "action" in Cape May. If you don't leave do not fret, the host have the place decked out for you and your group to enjoy - paddleboard, bikes, kayaks, etc...Great to know we can always count on Tracy for this great spot and their attentiveness. Thank you for another great stay!

Perfect family beach week 🌅🐬🏖

Our family had such a perfect week at Tracy and Dennis’s house! The house itself is just beautiful—gorgeous decorating style, clean, airy, neat. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, LOVED the whole outdoor patio/yard area, and enjoyed the outdoor shower so much that we want to build one at our house! Even though the owners live in the adjoined house (separate entrance), we never felt like they were there or that we were in someone else’s turf. The only time we saw them was when Tracy came to the rescue with some coffee filters! The hosts were quick to answer texts with questions, and Tracy welcomed us with a surprise snack basket in the fridge. Such a nice touch! We just loved how “on the beach” this house is. Simply step down half a dozen steps and you’re there! With two small children, this made beach time so easy, and we definitely spent more time on the beach than we would have other places. The beach is soft, clean sand, lots of interesting rocks and even artifacts (like arrow points) to find, and we had as much space for ourselves on the beach as we wanted. We saw enough other people on the beach to get a sense of how nice the locals are, but never felt anything close to crowded. Oh, and we DID get to see the dolphins! So cool! Thanks so much, Tracy and Dennis!

Great Vacation Home on the Bay

We really enjoyed this lovely home on the bay. The kayaks and hot tub made our stay especially fun. It was such a pleasure meeting Tracy and Dennis who were warm and welcoming hosts. We had a wonderful vacation here.

Spectacular! Could not ask for more!

My friends and I just spent a week at this beautiful spot. Hands down, it was one of the best vacations we have ever had! The description is spot on. The beautiful cape may beaches were only 15 minutes away and we had a blast riding the waves and swimming with the dolphins that were only about 500 feet away from us on the days we were there. Cape May also has a great variety of shops and restaurants too. Make sure to set aside some time for that. We had such a great time at Tracy and Dennis’s home we almost never left. The house is so comfy and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare breakfast lunch and dinner. Every day we had such amazing views of the bay , dolphins and sunsets. All could be seen from our window, the patio, or right from your seat of the hot tub! The view of the bay out the kitchen window was absolutely stunning!! We enjoyed taking out the kayaks and even played some shuffleboard. I have booked many vacations through VRBO and I found the owners of this home to be the best by far. Tracy was so quick to respond with any questions we had and I was so happy that we had a chance to meet both of them. They were even nicer in person. I recommend staying here and hope to return myself!

Our Best Family Vacation Yet!

Pictures simply do not do justice to the view you will be blessed with at this home. It is also very close to the beach. You have your own private entrance to the beach/shore. We honestly felt like the beach was ours for a week. This location is quiet, relaxing and private. When we weren’t on the beach, we sipped drinks on the spacious deck or relaxed in the comfy living room. Tracy and Dennis are so kind and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Their hospitality and generosity were beyond our expectations. We truly did not want to leave and hope to be back very soon!

Wonderful vacation home!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We felt right at home from beginning to end. The owners were a delight and were available 24/7 to help with anything we might need. We are a family of 6 with 3 being teenagers and the layout of the rental was perfect. Our 3 teens and 9 year old had the rooms on the first floor and we enjoyed the upstairs room with a view. Although the owners live in the adjoining building it felt as though we were in a stand alone home. Tracy and Dennis graciously give full reign of their lovely backyard that has a hot tub, covered lounge area and fire pit. Just beyond the yard and a few steps down the dune and you are on the beach. The bay was beautiful and we saw dolphins almost everyday! The location was perfect and truly close to anything and everything you’d want to do. Tracy was extremely responsive to questions we had about the area and it was a huge help! The locals we met on the beach were lovely and we hope to come back again someday.

WONDERFUL

This was the perfect beach house for our family. The sunsets were amazing, the yard was great for the small grandchildren to play in and the direct beach access was a bonus. The house was super nice and clean inside. The outside deck was a perfect place to hang out - day or night. The fire pit added night time S'more treats that everyone loved. We had beautiful weather, saw dolphins and stingrays off the shoreline, fell asleep listening to the ocean at night from the master bedroom...I truly can't say enough good things about this beach gem. We definitely want to return next summer!

Peaceful retreat

This is a quiet beachfront location. We stayed the second weekend in September. There was nobody else on the beach except us. The home was well kept and clean when we arrived. The back yard was wonderful. It had plenty of chairs, hot tub and fire pit. We were looking for a relaxing weekend and this was the perfect place for it. Our hosts were great and didn't miss one detail.

Fantastic stay!!

We didn't want to leave it was that good. Should have booked it for 2 weeks. Very quite and relaxing place. The outdoor space is absolutely amazing. The view from the kitchen area is breathtaking...I couldn't stop cooking lol. Perfect place if you are travelling with small children. The owners of the house are amazing. we had a great time, house was very very clean and quiet, beds very comfortable, kitchen ready for our 'Italian style heavy cooking manias'. Appreciated the grill outside, a quite good grill! The beach on the back of the house was a real gift and the cherry on the cake was the owner Traci, who has been super welcoming. thanks again Traci!

Felt like I never left home.

Tracy and Dennis, your home was home away from home. I’ve never felt so at peace the way I did for our two night stay. First, the house is right on the beach. Which already made me fall in love. The backyard is so beautiful! With a little patio to sit in and relax, a jacuzzi and the chairs around the fire pit made our night time so relaxing. The home was in such wonderful shape. Very clean, inviting and had all of our toilet tree’s available do us Incase we had forgotten. Tracy and Dennis left us a wonderful welcome gift which didn’t last long and came in handy after our 2 and a half hour drive 😉 The rooms were all very cozy, bAthrooms were very clean and again, had all of our assentials in it Incase we didn’t pack them. I absolutely loved the books that were in this home. There were playing cards and board games available to us. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of needing to make meals and shakes. When I said Home away from home, you have no idea! I slept in the room upstairs and I the sound of the water at night and in the morning with the chirps made me feel like I was in a movie. So relaxing again SO RELAXING! Myself and my cousins will MOST DEFINITELY LOVE TO COME BACK WHEN WE TRAVEL DOWN TOWARDS OUR LITTLE GETAWAYS. Only 15 minutes from wildwood. So you get to have your inner child come out and come home to a very nice, quiet, friendly neighborhood to make your vacation or getaway an amazing one. Thank you, Tracy and Dennis for making our Memorial Day weekend an amazing one. Keep up the great work on the Home.

Wonderful Family Vacation with Children!

Everything was wonderful! House is very clean and has everything we needed. Location couldn't have been better with a great fenced in yard with a "sandbox" as our kids put it (sand pit around the fire pit) Right on the beach and the bay was just fantastic for the kids. Tracy was great, very responsive and around as little or much as we needed. Highly recommended we hope to come back next year!

Wonderful Hidden Gem!

Beautiful Property, phenomenal owners--amazing stay

This was by far the best experience I've had with a Homeaway/VRBO/Air BNB rental (and we've had quite a few). The property is beautiful and right on the beach--the pictures don't do it it's full justice. Tracy and Dennis couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming to ourselves and our two small children. The nightly sunsets on the beach were peaceful and beautiful. The number of "amenities" that came along with the property were incredible - access to kayaks and bikes. Would stay here again and again!

Wonderful place to stay.

We have just spent a week at the Villas. What a lovely place, and right on the beach. Tracy Is a wonderful owner, the place was everything she said and more. We will be visiting her again for sure maybe next year. Thanks again Tracy you made our holiday special.
