Beach Magic
You deserve a vacation at " LUNA Y SOL BY THE SEA". Wake up to the sound of the crashing waves, smell the salty sea air, & watch the dolphins swim by as you sit on the deck ....take a few steps off of it and get sand between your toes. Walk to town for shopping or to nosh at the awesome restaurants. Cook up a delicious dinner in the fully loaded open air kitchen with cooktop, double ovens and warming drawer. Take an afternoon nap on the couch as you look out thru the wall of glass doors at the blue sea. Retreat to the downstairs 2nd family room for some quiet time. Also perfect for multi-family vacations; space for everyone.
The upper level has a wall of glass french doors looking out onto the ocean which is the main living area: kitchen (wash dishes as you watch dolphins!) and dining. The main bedroom is to the left of the main living area (complete with main bath and very large walk in closet) and the other two upstairs bedrooms are to the right of the living area with a bathroom in between them. One of those rooms has a queen bed (sleeps 2 and faces the ocean) and the other room has two separate twin bunks that sleep four.
Downstairs is another completely separate full sized living area with a separate entrance off the patio. It has a wet bar, wall to wall stocked library, full bath and family bunk room (queen bed, and a twin over full bunk-- room sleeps 5). Perfect if you're traveling with another family or with multi-generational family members because everybody can find private space when needed, and then gather in the main living area or oceanfront deck when wanting to socialize. Our home sleeps 13 comfortably. In 2026, we created a private outdoor space off the downstairs entrance complete with grill and additional steps to the upstairs deck. Perfect for grilling, gathering and enjoying family moments and great friendships.

Perfect location, ample space for family (6 adults and 2 children under 3 yrs old), and only 50’ from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here in Topsail. Communication with the owners was courteous and professional. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Floorplan and probably the most comfortable couches I have ever lounged on.Chris and Rob has their act together. The downstairs sleeping, library with outdoor access was perfect for the group that didn't want to hang with parents all the time.

This house was perfect - perfect location, perfect set-up, perfect space. The house was clean and well stocked. The location could not have been better - right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. The best spot was on the deck! So many beautiful sunrises. Saw dolphins on a couple of mornings. We will be back! We had a few questions and the hosts were more than helpful. Thank you for sharing your fantastic house!

This property was the perfect vacation spot! Beautiful home with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. This will be our forever vacation rental.

Great Kid Friendly Beach Stay
We had a fun filled stay with family and friends. The accommodations were perfect and safe for our toddlers and close enough to the beach to feel comfortable during nap time. They had everything from kids plates to books and games too.

Great place for a family vacation!
Every thing was just as expected. The house and location were perfect! Great communication with the hosts. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great house!
Enjoyed our week in Surf City. Chris and Rob were great with communication. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. Excellent deck space and a wide beach at low tide. I will definitely rent this house again!

Beautiful!
Loved everything about this home. Amazing views, cozy, and clean. The owners were very thoughtful and made the rental experience wonderful! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to return for another stay in the future.

Review
We had a great stay here, the location was just far enough away from town to avoid the larger crowds but also walkable for dinner. The beach was quiet and the outdoor shower/deck were amazing. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We plan to book this again for next year!

Wonderful Beach Home
We've planned family vacations in different beach houses on Topsail Island/Surf City for 35 years. This home stands out as one of our favorites. It is bright and comfortable, has many amenities, and a great location! Chris and Robert were wonderful hosts!

Amazing home and location
What a fabulous week in TopSail our family had! We can't thank Chris and Rob enough for making the process so easy and for exceeding our expectations with this property. This home fit our our family of 12 perfectly.

Cannot be closer to the water
This home is steps from the ocean. The living area was perfect for our ten guests; it never felt crowded. There is also a great outdoor shower space.

Perfect!
The home was perfect for our family! The beach was pristine, the home was immaculate. Chris was super responsive and even worked with the cleaning crew so we could enjoy the home as long as possible.

Amazing Views
We had a group of 9 (kids and adults), and this house fit us perfectly. With room to spare. The bunk room was perfect for our older kids, the kitchen was terrific (had everything you need), and the views and location can’t be beat. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon! :)

Great location and perfect for our family!
The property worked wonderfully for our group of 11- ranging from 8 to 73! This was our first family vacation to Surf City and definitely won’t be our last. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you should need and the views from the kitchen/living room and back deck will be hard to beat! We loved watching the dolphins each morning and boats come and go throughout the day. Communications with the hosts always went smoothly and they were quick to reply. The whole week was a win to our family. .

Exactly what we needed!
This home and location is even better then the photos. The owners worked with our weird needs and made check-in and out super simple. We are already discussing booking the same home next year. I would not hesitate when booking, as we were thankful we booked a June trip in February! This gem goes quickly.

Best. Vacation Ever
Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The house is beautiful and watching the sunrise every morning from the deck was breathtaking. The owners were fantastic. They made the entire process from booking to checkin so easy. They thought of everything. Although we didn’t cook while we were there, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We can’t wait to stay here again for our next beach vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Surf City is a wonderful place with friendly people who appreciate a warm, family atmosphere. Our neighbors on either side of us live there year round and are kind and helpful, and in the local area there is a compassionate group of people who dedicate their time to rescuing sea turtles, as well as, assisting baby sea turtles back to the ocean. We feel quite blessed to be part of a community that is respectful, good-natured, and fun.
