Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great. The only glitch we had was when we arrived we could not get in the gate. The gate code should be sent prior to coming to stay.

Great location!

Such a great family vacation at your condo. The dolphins in the ocean was an added bonus to sit and watch from the balcony !

Fantastic views

The property was very well maintained. Not that many people on beach since it’s a private beach. Close to everything.

T was OK, but maintenance required.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice kitchen, ceiling fans nice. 2 full size beds (instead of twin size) in guest bedroom were niceOutlet on the right side of sink in master bedroom not working. Right side sink in master bathroom very slow draining. All bathroom doors & bedroom doors stick and need to be adjusted, you have to lift up on doorknob to open without making a lot of noise. All beds creek and make loud noise getting in or out of our any time you roll over or move.Outlet behind dresser & headboard in master bedroom very hard to reach.Headboard had a cutout for the outlet, but you could only reach the bottom receptical.

Excellent property

Unit 407 at The Islander was great! Clean and a beautiful view. Loved being able to open the door and hear the waves! The only complaint we would have is the master bedroom bed. Very creaky! Not sure why.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 10th year staying at the Islander and as usual it was amazing! We love all that the Islander has to offer and hope to go back again soon. Only one major disappointment this year...Our beach attendant Allen wasn't there and was replaced with people who could care less if you even existed. Alan was a great piece of the Islander and they should definitely find a way to get him back.

2024 Family Vacation

There was plenty of room for our family and the view of the gulf was amazing! The sofa and master mattress was a little uncomfortable but the other beds were fine. We loved the location and closeness to the beach. I never did get any responses back on my messages to our host but thankfully the front desk of the property was very helpful. One downside of the condo was the lack of outlets. In this day & age, even just the basics would have been appreciated. I almost thought if we had known ahead of time, I would have brought extension cords/power strips. We did enjoy the overall experience but the condo is definitely dated. I would still stay there again though.

Perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such an enjoyable stay over Spring Break 3/16-3/23. The condo is in an ideal location just steps to the pool and beach. We were pleasantly surprised— amazing ocean view from the balcony and master bedroom window. All beds were incredibly comfortable and the condo was clean. If anything needs improvement, it would be updating the bathrooms and sofa / decor in the living area. All were fully functional and in perfect working order, just looking a bit tired and in need of refreshing.

Unit 407 was perfect!

Reviewer Comments: We usually visit the Islander in August but due to an upcoming and unexpected surgery for our daughter we had to reschedule our vacation to June. Unit 407 was literally the only unit available for the week we needed and so we took it! We have stayed in the same unit for the past 8 years so we were nervous. Once we arrived we quickly realized that this unit would more then suit our needs! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! As always the Islander was our perfect spot and beach service by Alan was exceptional! Until next year!!!

Just fabulous

Reviewer Comments: Fabulous location, Perfect view of the ocean with seats for five on the porch, comfortable beds, spacious for the five of us, lots of kitchen,tools, everything was really clean, plenty of towels for pool and beach, appreciated that there was a staff member in the lobby for check-in and questions, pool was perfectly cleaned at all times and warm. The beach was as close as it could be. And the two comfort beach chairs and umbrella were glorious. Saw dolphins the morning I got up early-straight from our porch right in front :-) couldn’t have been happier. I just would have brought potholders if I were to change my preparations :-)
