Welcome to our home built in 2014 with all the luxury, comforts and conveniences. Our lovely wooded, peaceful setting will help you leave the hustle and bustle of your day-to-day life behind. Located in the desirable Beaverdam Valley on Webb Cove Rd, just minutes away from beautiful downtown Asheville.

If you're a nature lover, you'll enjoy our location just 2 miles up the road to the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as many local hiking trails, biking opportunities, kayaking and much more.

If you prefer the city life, downtown Asheville is just minutes away from our private Asheville paradise - you'll find wonderful boutique shops, art galleries, fantastic restaurants, breweries and even live theatre!

Our Asheville luxury home offers a split bedroom design for privacy for all guests as well as a large covered porch ideal for evening gatherings. There's even a small creek just yards away, offering wonderful calming water sounds.

The master suite has a king size bed, large bathroom and deck overlooking the woods. (All mattresses are new, memory-foam).

The exercise room is located off the master suite and boasts a 3-person sauna, treadmill and floor equipment!

The guest room is just down the hall, and has a queen bed and a semi-private bathroom.

Amateur chefs will love the new kitchen, fully equipped with sparkling pots, pans and utensils. Everything you need for a wonderful home-cooked meal.

From every room you can enjoy great mountain views and a peaceful, wooded Blue Ridge Mountain surrounding.

Another great stay

Second trip to this wonderful place. In the woods but 15 minutes to downtown. Had visits from mama bear with cubs and papa bear solo. Birds, a bobcat, butterflies, and other assorted critters made the stay memorable. All enjoyed from the comfort of the deck. Our dog enjoyed the proximity to several parks for long walks. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a great vacation. Highly recommended

Perfect getaway house

We came down with our 2 dogs and another married couple. Pictures do not do the property or house justice. This place is 5 stars hands down and we would stay here again. Unlike some of the other reviews, we did not see the mama bear and her cubs but saw other little fellas visiting the property.

Perfect Place

Terrific property! Clean, amazing kitchen, layout of the house is great, and very relaxing. This is our second time renting and it is amazing! Very calm with nature too.

Peaceful home near Asheville

We loved our stay here. The back porch was our favorite feature. We saw bears, deer and lots of rabbits. The home is great. Comfortable beds, great layout, and it's close to town. There are several hikes nearby that you can take the dogs on with you. Go!!

Our sons wedding

Wonderful home better than the pictures. Such a beautiful place in the woods and great location! We even and a momma bear and her 3 cubs stroll by while we were having coffee on the deck. We will be back again for sure!

Beautiful home in the mountains near Asheville

Stayed for a weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer. Secluded lovely house in the mountains. 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and minutes from downtown Asheville.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The house was great as well as the location. Really enjoyed feeling secluded but also super close to the downtown area. Dog friendly made it a plus as well. Would definitely visit again!

Great spot for 2 couples

The home was set up in a manner that leant itself towards 2 couples traveling together. The gathering area with great room, dining cove and kitchen with eat at counter allowed us to share time together to talk and relax. The suites on either end of the great room provided privacy for each couple. The outdoor living space would have been wonderful to use, but our weather was cold and windy, with some rain. We really enjoyed our stay and were close to all the fun activities and good restaurants in Asheville.

Wonderful place in the woods and close to town

We enjoyed this beautiful place. The beds were super comfortable. We did not see a single bear. The kitchen was well equipped.

We loved staying at this wooded sanctuary! The home was well appointed and the artwork and sculptures around the property were quite impressive. We were visiting relatives who live on Webb Cove road and the location couldn't have been better. We actually stayed on this property back when it was just a rustic cabin in the woods long before this luxury home was built! We would definitely love to come back.

escape to the mountains

The pictures and description don't do the property justice. This is clearly the nicest and best furnished vrbo that we have stayed at. It is a short drive 10-15 minute drive to business districts, grocery stores and restaurants. Same time to downtown. Maggie was incredibly responsive to some minor issues. Great stay and will be back

New Year's stay

This is second year we have stayed at property and it is ideal for our needs as it is in close proximity to other family members who live in Asheville. The way the bedrooms are arranged, everyone has their separate area and privacy. Some of the furnishings could be updated but it is a clean and comfortable property. We hope to return again!

Our Asheville vacay.

Would have been near perfect if there had been a fenced area to let our dogs out into. Kind of an inconvenience leashing them up every time they went out. Maybe at the base of the stairs to master bedroom. We were told not to let them out to run because of bear danger.

Idyllic Mountain Stay Minutes from Downtown Asheville

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is situated in the woods, just off a mountain road in a gorgeous area just outside central Asheville. It's comfortable, well appointed and was spotless. We loved the stone fireplace, and relaxed in front of it on one of the cooler nights. The huge windows look out on the surrounding woods on all sides. The beds are comfortable, and we enjoyed waking up to views. The master bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and dual sinks. There are plenty of quality bed linens and towels as well. The kitchen is well appointed and was exceptionally clean. After a day of hiking, we enjoyed siitting on the covered deck, sipping tea and listening to the wildlife. Supermarkets and restaurants (including a couple of outstanding barbeque places) are only 8-10 minutes away, and dozens of amazing restaurants, cafe's and nightspots are only a few minutes farther along Merimon Avenue into downtown Asheville. Turning left out of the driveway, you'll find Web Cove Road takes you up the mountain for about seven minutes, directly to Craven Gap Trail, as well as easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and it's amazing vistas and hiking trails. We had a most relaxing week soaking up the peace and quiet and fall colors. Maggie Smith was a wonderful host, and provided plenty of information on the house and things to do in the local area. We had a great time, and highly recommend her property or anyone who is looking for a quiet cottage in the mountains.

A great place!

We really enjoyed this home. It is large and well equiped. The kitchen has a nice selection of things needed. And of course we did see a Mama Bear with three Cubs! Highly encourage staying at Luxury In The Woods. We will be back!

My favorite place is on the covered porch in the evening. There is always a slight breeze and it is surrounded by woods.

My second favorite place in the house is the sauna in the exercise room. You don't even need to partake in the excercise to enjoy the sauna!!
