Spacious and charming apartment in the heart of North Park

Spacious and charming apartment, overlooking a beautiful garden, tucked away behind craftsman-style house in the heart of historic North Park. The perfect location in walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, breweries and markets. Close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Downtown Coronado Beach, and Fashion Valley Mall.
Apartment is 600 sqft and has beautiful hardwood floors. It has large windows which provide lots of natural light and allow an air-flow and breeze. The unit also has a portable air conditioner for extra comfort during the warm summer months.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and is facing east allowing you to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The living room is spacious and has a smart TV (access to local channels and Netflix). The kitchen is fully equipped. On the porch/entrance of the apartment is a small sitting area with a view of the courtyard garden and beautiful San Diego sunsets; a great spot to recharge after a day of walking, shopping, golfing, and spending time exploring one of the beautiful beaches or San Diego's many other attractions.


Neighborhood:
North Park is a historic/hip neighborhood with something for anyone's taste: art galleries, the North Park Observatory, great restaurants, coffee shops, little corner markets, several small breweries, scooter rentals and Morley Field park all in walking distance.

Less than a mile from the city Golf Course and 2 miles from the heart of Balboa Park with it’s wonderful Museums, Botanical Garden, Old Globe Theater and the world famous San Diego Zoo.

In just 10-15 minutes you can get to downtown, Little Italy, The Gas Lamp Quarter, Seaport Village, Convention Center, Fashion Valley shopping mall as well as Coronado and other beach communities.

Roomy, wonderful place.

Visiting family in San Diego, we've stayed at many VRBO's, this one was hands down our favorite. Great accommodations and location. Bill was a wonderful host who maintains his property beautifully.

Loved the one bedroom apt refurbished gently from its, I am guessing, 50's beginnings. Very nostalgic and, at the same time, decorated with many beach reminders and just fun touches. Bed and sofa were comfortable, plenty enough storage for unpacking. The neighbor is delightful, parking is easy, restaurants are plentiful. The hosts were sensitive to our needs as seniors.

It was another great stay in northpark. Always a fun time in SD. This apartment is perfect for 2 people or 1. This time it was just me! Communication was great and the accommodations were great. Just make sure you bring some travel bath soap and travel shampoo. AC cools down the place fast on a hot day. Otherwise windows open at night will help create a comfortable environment. Plenty to eat and drink nearby. Little Bird brewery is serving good beer. A good BBQ place and pizza around the corner. A market around the corner and a nice coffee shop.

Good place to stay for a vacation

This is a great place to stay for a vacation. Bill was very nice and respectful to us. The place is centered around everything to do. The only thing I would say is that in the sumner it’s hot i side the place and it needs a real A/C. I would definitely stay again

Everything we needed for our trip

Comfortable, clean, and in a great location for our quick trip. We were able to explore the North Park neighborhood by foot, and easily use ride sharing for visiting nearby attractions. Bill is a great communicator and was very understanding about potentially needing to drop off luggage early. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit the city!

Super convenient and great location

Property was exactly what I needed. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The bed was super comfortable and the location was very accessible to restaurants, breweries, grocery and gas stations. Quick getaway

Property very charming home like ,i would rent the place if i lived in SD. Theres good cafe's close by and a comic book store which is a super plus. Best relaxing getaway! Balboa park is close by if you drive otherwise if you enjoy long walks you will love it. Bed is comfy and shower pressure was just right. All amenities are there and if you want to cook all supplies are there. I stay there again whenever i do a quick getaway to SD🙂.

North Park Stay

This is a very clean and cozy apartment Everything is in perfect working order. New double-paned windows that easily open and close, comfortable bed with nice linens and plenty of white fluffy bath towels and washcloths. It is on a really nice North Park street and has a charming patio which George the cat reigns royally. I love this unit. It was my 2nd visit there.

Great apartment in North Park

My Dad stayed in this lovely apartment for 12 days. He enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store, CVS, Santos Coffee shop, Thorn Brewery where he met up with a friend, restaurants on 30th. Easy to get to and from the airport and Santa Fe station to take the Coaster. Bill was friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more! We will try to book again when my Dad comes back into town for a visit.

Short quick visit

Bill was amazing. He made my partner and I felt welcomed and was amazing with his communication. Everything is within driving distance, the street was quiet and friendly. We didn’t feel nervous about leaving the rental in the front. The entire place was clean and inviting. One thing I noticed that put Bill over the top for me as a host was his creation of a book with some advice about San Diego and what we should explore.
