This completely renovated, March 2017, Ranch features a beautiful view at the head of Narraguagus Bay. Relax on two huge decks and watch lobster boats come and go, enjoy breathtaking sunrises as you start your day and unwind with a peaceful sunset after exploring local attractions.

You are just steps to the water's edge, the Town Marina and Boat Launch. Kayaking, sea tours, fishing, and other water activities are a stones throw away. Or it's a short drive to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Petit Manan Lighthouse and the Coastal National Wildlife Refuge. You are also within walking distance to Milbridge Town Center, offering local cuisine, gift shops and shopping.

This home features a very open floor plan with wood floors throughout and all the comforts of home. Its coastal furnishings and decor accentuate "the way life should be". The master bedroom overlooks the bay, has a king bed and large sitting area. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed while bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with double bed on bottom and twin on top.

This centrally located home provides easy access to all of the exquisite attractions of Down East Maine and the southeastern coast of Canada.

Comfortable and Peaceful Place to Stay

Our family of 5 loved staying in Ernest's beautiful home overlooking a bay. It was well stocked with all we needed and more for cooking meals. The layout was great and the beds were comfortable. It was a peaceful place to stay, close to Schoodic, and an easy hour to Bar Harbor.

This is a beautiful property with a lot of space. It has a great view of the bay and we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed--even a lobster pot for the lobsters we bought on the wharf. It's a quiet area with many nice hikes, but not a lot else to do. We enjoyed the Schoodic district of Acadia National Park (more than Mt desert Isle).

We lucked out! We booked this beautiful home just a half week before our arrival. The communication was excellent with Ernest, the owner and the host, Ron, lived down the street and was there in an instant when needed. The house had everything you could ask for. The master bedroom w/ sitting area, was beautiful, views of the harbor. 2 porches for meals or harbor watching&morning coffee. Lots of outdoor space-nicely rural/private. We saw seals in the harbor from the house! Nice home touches included binoculars to watch birds/sea-life etc., everything you needed for cooking and eating whole lobsters and anything else you want to cook. The decor was so cute- little shore life decor everywhere, including the dish-ware. There were many soft throw blankets to cuddle on the porch on a cooler morning or inside in the evening. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms offered many towels, and updated showers etc. The entrance was hilly/stairs, if mobility is an issue. Located nearby was a cute coffeehouse, a person who makes pies -custom from her outdoor cupboard, a local and well-stocked grocery store, and the local restaurant’s were great- Chipman’s Wharf, Vazquez (including ice cream) . The town folks were so friendly. We drove to BarHarbor- about an hour away as well as Acadia, but also there were great hiking trails and tidal pools located nearby. We spent more time near town than the park and Bar Harbor. Worth the drive from Michigan!

Quiet, Lovely Home

This beautiful home has an incredible bay view, making for a relaxing getaway. All the amenities you need inside the home and a short drive to restaurants and a grocery store. We hope to return!

Beautiful property!

This property was absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect on the water. The house had everything you could possibly need included. Lots of space to hang out on the decks or by the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Lovely house

We really enjoyed our stay in Milbridge. The house was so comfortable and clean. It had everything you could possibly need. It was wonderful to gaze at the ocean from so many locations in the house.

Love Milbridge!

Love this small town and watching the tides from the living room and back porch. Pigeon Hill Preserve is a great hike that is minutes away. Robertson Sea Tours and Captain Robertson was a great experience and our fresh caught lobster was fun to cook.

Wonderful getaway

This property was perfect for getting to know Milbridge, Maine where my daughter is now living and working. We loved the location and opportunity to watch the lobster fishermen come and go. We were able to cook in the well stocked kitchen an amazing lobster dinner. The fire pit was awesome at night to see the stars.

Lovely Maine getaway

The property was perfect for the vacation we were hoping for. A bit off the beaten path (our distinct preference), charming views, wonderful bike riding right from our door, great lobster shacks, fabulous authentic Mexican takeout! The house is comfortable, clean, equipped with everything you could want. Friendly, helpful host just down the road. We will gladly return!

Beautiful house with a view!

My family and I felt at home in this beautiful house. It's very homey and comfortable. I enjoyed my coffee every morning watching the boats going out. Everything you need is there and more! There is a great boating charter, Robertson Sea Charter, that you depart from right across the street from the house. The location is great. It's very quiet at night for enjoying a fire around the fire pit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home.

This property has everything! It’s not a rental, it’s a home. Clean as a whistle! Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of gadgets, utensils, all kinds of glassware and all the goodies for lobster dinner! We felt so at home. The view of the water is so relaxing. The owner is so generous with all the extras provided (forget a toothbrush? Deodorant? You’re covered!). Talk about a low stress weekend. We will be back.
