A stay in a Sea Loft is a one of a kind experience...... you will enjoy the peace and quiet of a nature preserve with gorgeous marsh views.
Our two bedroom, two bath villa is a nautical inspired, unique octagon shaped treehouse with floor to ceiling windows in every room. The brand new downstairs addition is the perfect spot for watching the game, curling up with a good book or rolling out a yoga mat! The patio deck is perfect for meals, cocktails or birdwatching while overlooking Calibogue Sound marsh. Keep your eyes open and you will likely see the island deer wondering by each day.

Deer Island is just a few minutes walk to Harbour Town, Sea Pines Racquet Club and Harbour Town Golf Links. Each morning you can play your favorite sport, drop by the Harbour Town Bakery (newly renovated!) or stroll the Yacht basin. During the day Harbour Town is the center for all your family water activities from parasailing to paddle boarding or heading out on the sound to dolphin watch. In the evenings, you can visit one of the many restaurants and shops or climb 114 steps of the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse before the evening entertainment begins under the Liberty Oak tree.
Our Treehouse is a 15 minute bike ride to the Sea Pines Beach Club area or the South Beach marina where you can access the beautiful beaches thru dozens of walking paths throughout the entire resort area. The Sea Pines Trolley also provides a wonderful way of accessing the Beach Club and the rest of the resort. The Sea Pines Beach Club is also a 5 minute drive.
Sea Pines will become your favorite vacation destination and we know you will love your time on Hilton Head as much as we do! Security cameras - This home is equipped with an exterior camera for your protection and the security of our guests and property.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! It was so much better than we even expected, and plenty of space for our family of 2 adults & 2 teenagers. We loved sitting out and viewing the wildlife! The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, yet SO close to all the fun at Harbortown! Would definitely stay here again!

I have been visiting HHI for many years and never knew about this hidden gem area beside Harbor town. It offers the best of both worlds: an escape to your private sanctuary with wildlife, yet steps away from tons of fun at Harbor town. We loved how fully stocked the home was and the bikes were a great added bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed the frequent visits we had from the deer. They were so fun to watch.

This property really is the PERFECT place for a HH vacation. Heather & Jim were quick to respond and gave detailed instructions and suggestions for our visit. The house itself is such a unique property: it was super clean, very up to date, and furnished beautifully. We enjoyed the deer friends that we made more than we could have imagined, and loved the visits that they paid to us each morning and evening.The location was awesome, quiet and peaceful, yet an easy walk/bike ride to Harbour Town. We also had a direct 2 mile bike ride to Sea Pines Beach Club for beach days, and a slightly longer, but equally enjoyable ride to the Salty Dog Marina. The house was equipped with four bikes and locks, so was our preferred mode of transportation.We would definitely like to stay at the tree house for future visits. It was wonderful!

Everything about this rental was great and just as described and shown in the listing. Beautiful location and so peaceful and quiet! Deer Island “Tree House”

Fascinating place. Unique accommodation well decorated, supplied and comfortable. Very quiet area on the far end of Sea Pines which, as we discovered, you could spend an entire week in and be perfectly pleased. We would definitely recommend staying here

Secluded oasis on HHI

Wonderful property with close proximity to Harbor Town and all of Sea Pines. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet the area is given the proximity to Harbor Town. We definitely enjoyed the daily visitors (deer) as the island is named for.

Peaceful Getaway

Upon arriving we were greeted with a couple deer standing with our luggage, so cool! It was so quiet and peaceful. Walkable to many activities. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.

Winter stay

My parents had a wonderful extended stay at this Sea Loft. They have stayed in several properties on Deer Island and this was their favorite by far. Newly renovated and in great condition.

Great for 4 people!

We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk to Harbor Town restaurants, shops and bars. Nicely renovated and equipped. Only sticking point is there is only parking for 2 so if your group has 3+ cars, might be an issue.

50th anniversary trip

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Sea Pines. We went there on out honeymoon and 10th anniversary. We always stay on Deer Island. This property was just perfect for us.

Beautiful property

Beautiful villa in a private setting. Well decorated, very clean. Had a wonderful time. This was our 2nd time renting this villa and we look forward to returning.

Great Weekend!

We had a great weekend! The tree houses on Deer Island are one of our favorite places to stay. This was one of the cleaniest and niciest ones we have stayed in. Loved all of the amenties-especially having bicycles included!

2nd Honeymoon

We returned to the Sea Pines Resort for the first time since our honeymoon 44 years ago. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The location and setting were ideal, everything was just as described in the listing and the entire process from reservation to modification of that reservation to check-in and check-out were flawless.

Peaceful Retreat

The Sealoft had a cute nautical theme. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted/needed, including beach chairs and a boogie board. It was an easy walk to Harbourtown but was pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here that gave us the feel of being close to nature while just steps away from Harbour Town. We hoped to see a few deer in the distance from the deck but actually saw several each day that came around close to the house! The house was exactly as described and seen in pictures. It was very clean and well stocked for our stay. We had a great time & are thankful to have found such a unique location!

Family Favorite

This was our 6th year staying in this Deer Island Treehouse! We look forward to it each year. We enjoy everything from the lush surroundings to the gorgeous views and friendly deer. The Treehouse is always pristine and welcoming. We can't wait until our next trip to Deer Island.

Perfect home in Harbour Town!

We had an amazing week in this cozy little home within walking distance to everything we needed. This was the absolute perfect spot for what we were looking for. Spotless, excellent location, charming!

This private and unique Sea Loft was perfect for our family of 4. Kids 12 and 14, 4 adult bikes included, steps from Harbour Town. Very clean, dishwasher/washer/dryer, beautifully decorated and updated. I felt like we found a gem and will be recommending to many!

We have been vacationing in Sea Pines for over twenty years and have loved it! One day on a bike ride we just happened upon Deer Island and couldn't believe these unique Sea Lofts were tucked away like a secret. Every time we visited Sea Pines we made sure to make a stop on Deer Island and dream about the day when one could be ours. We fell in love with how secluded and private Deer Island is, yet, five minutes away is the fun atmosphere of Harbour Town with all of the family activities it has to offer.
This is really a dream come true and we are excited to share it with others!
