What a beautiful cozy and extremely quiet hut in the marsh. We saw so much wildlife, relaxed on the sofa and enjoyed the quiet resort life. Highly recommend- we will return!

Connie is an amazing host! She was communicative, helpful and very kind. Her place is amazing as well. It’s maintained nicely, has priceless views and is in a prime location. We were be back for sure.

If you are thinking of enjoying Deer Island, book it! This updated home was perfect for our family of 4. We prefer King beds which this property has. It does make it tight to move around one of the bedrooms, but we didn’t mind it. You will most definitely see lots of wildlife staying here. Close to the lighthouse, but it feels so secluded. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed the Sea Pines paths. Would definitely book again.

Our weekend getaway was exactly what we were hoping for—a peaceful escape in a quiet, serene setting. It struck the perfect balance between feeling tucked away in nature while still being just a short drive from shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores, making it easy to pick up a few things and enjoy a home-cooked meal.One of our favorite moments was relaxing on the deck each evening, taking in the beautiful sunset and simply enjoying the calm surroundings. The home was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed, so beyond our usual travel essentials, we arrived to a welcoming space that immediately felt comfortable and inviting.The host was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy a peaceful retreat with all the conveniences nearby, we would highly recommend staying here. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly return.

Wonderful stay

The property was very comfortable and well kept. The owners were very responsive to the one minor issue we had. The views were outstanding! We had a wonderful quiet stay and will definitely be back!

Feed deer in the lagoon as you watch dolphins swim along the shore

Wonderful place to stay in the best area of sea pines. We love it here and come back every year! So clean, nice little touches like the cookies and chocolate, and an amazing view of the ocean.

Lovely well appointed cottage overlooking the water.

Thoroughly enjoyed Hilton Head Island; lots of tennis, bike riding and great restaurants. Gorgeous little hidden gem. We will definitely return.

What an awesome time we had, this place is fantastic and exactly as described. The owner is very good at communications and even went above and beyond to accommodate us when there was a minor issue with the AC system due to record breaking heat. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Wonder vacation home and comfortable
