Not too many homes allow a 2 night stay in Corolla, so I am happy we were able to meet your need for an extended stay in the Outer Banks. It is truly hard to leave once you get here! Our goal is to help famillies relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate. Taste and Sea is the perfect place to accomplish that. Peaceful, quiet, and quick and easy location to everything you want and need in a beach getaway home. We are pleased that you found the house clean and with everything you need. "Great place" that is our goal, for each guest to leave saying those words! This is a large house with four floors which offers lots of private outdoor space for the bedrooms, ample room to spread out for multiple families, and spectacular views of the sound. Therefore, this means several steps for each level. The kitchen, dining and living room area tend to be where everyone gathers and being on the third level means everyone gets to enjoy the spectacular views of the sound and those breathtaking sunsets. If these communal rooms were on a lower level, then only a few guest would get to partake of this view. Thanks for noticing the well stocked kitchen, and our lovely pool. Jeremy, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! We are truly in an excellent location with easy walking distance to everything from the beach to grocery store, shopping and more! But yet we are still in a very quiet corner of the cul-de-sac. Thanks for letting me know the pool lights were out. We took care of those immediately. I wish you would have let me know during your stay and we could have put new bulbs in the outdoor floodlights for your group. I make it known in the welcome packet that we provide enough toilet paper to get you through a couple of days, but then you would need to buy more. I'm sorry you didn't see that. We also share that there is one set of towels and washcloth provided for each guest and to bring your own if you will need more or with the washer and dryer those can be washed daily. I don't usually get complaints about the beds comfortability, but I am sorry you didn't find them comfortable. I'll check them out for sure. We want everyone to be comfy!

Yes, our home is very spacious and is in a fabulous location, offering lots of privacy, but yet in walking distance to beach, grocery store, great restaurants, theater, putt-putt and more. Glad you enjoyed our pool as well. Hope you will come back and visit us again soon.

Jamie, I’m so glad you all had a great stay! We work really hard to give families the best possible vacation while staying in our home. I’m so sorry you didn’t see the blinds in the upstairs bedroom. We were there 2 weeks ago and stayed in that same bedroom and used the blinds every evening. I suppose they may have blended in with the window framing. Many years ago we had a gas grill, but it became a serious hazard with people grilling way too close to the house and leaving the gas turned on. The outside charcoal grill was a much safer option for us. My family happens to love true charcoal grilling, but I understand that some do not. Your suggestion for a corner cabinet in the upstairs bath is a great one, and I will be getting on that right away. Thanks for your feedback. We are always looking to improve for our guests. Danielle, I am so glad you had a great vacation while staying in our home! The views watching the sunset from our back deck are spectacular, but I always tell everyone to wear bug spray, since burning citronella candles is not a safe option. The mosquitoes are a nuisance all over the island and not just on the sound. If I am out in the late afternoon, we all have to have repellant on, in order to avoid numerous bites no matter our location. Thanks for the heads up about the cobwebs on the deck. I will be sure to let my housekeepers know. Thank you for mentioning the cleanliness of our home. We work very hard to give our guests the best possible stay and to ensure that they have a great time.

So glad you all enjoyed your stay! Our wonderful backyard is one of our homes greatest assets, but unfortunately it is hard to showcase it without getting the neighbors pier in the pictures. Luckily, the community pier was very close by so you could still enjoy your kayaks. Hope you will stay with us again on your next trip to beautiful Corolla.
