House was clean and conveniently close to the beach. It was spacious enough to accomodate my family. Check in and checkout was a breeze!! The house and Duck did not disappoint!

Fun winter trip

This beautiful house was the perfect spot for a winter trip. Easy stroll to both the beach and boardwalk. We'll definitely be coming back!

Great Location. House overall is very good. Could use a Keurig. Beds, furniture, etc was great! Only issues we had was one of the hot water heaters was not working and part of the bathrooms did not have hot water during the entire trip.

Thank you for your suggestions. We have installed a new Keurig at the property since your stay. This is a standard in our properties and we regret it was not there when you arrived. We have also addressed the water heaters in the house. Please let us know when you are here when those things arise so we can take care of them right away. We regret we were unable to address these items immediately and glad they did not dampen your stay. Please come back again!

OBX paradise

We had a great time at Wine N Sea! The location was perfect, on a quiet street in scenic Duck. We were close enough to easily walk to both the beach and boardwalk. The pool and hot tub were a big hit as well. We will be back for sure!

Great place!!

We had a girls weekend and enjoyed the house very much. The listing is as stated and had plenty of space. It is very close to beach access and shopping. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home with easy beach access

Beautiful home with very convenient beach access and an wonderfully appointed kitchen. Our group was mostly adults with only one 5 year old, so the play nook off the kitchen was excellent for him to have his games set up while the adults used the main living area. We also loved the all of the outside seating and ate dinner on the deck every night.

Four generation family vacation

There was plenty of room for us to have fun together - and to find some quiet time when we needed it. Although it was still a little too cold to swim in the ocean, hours were spent fishing and playing in the sand. The kids LOVED being right across from the club house, so that they could make friends at the play yard or the pool, and warming up in the hot tub in the evening. The adults appreciated the quick walk or bike ride into town, The boardwalk on the sound side was a favorite.

We had the most amazing stay at this vacation home! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house has such a warm, welcoming vibe—it’s clear a lot of care has gone into making it a relaxing space with all your needs. The highlight for us was the huge pool area! There was so much space for the kids to play, splash, and burn off energy while the adults lounged nearby. It felt like our own private resort, and we spent hours out there every day.One of the best parts of this home is how close it is to the beach. The walk was incredibly short—just a few minutes door to sand—which made it super easy to go back and forth without any stress (even with kids in tow!). We would rebook this spot for sure in the future!

Slim by the sea

Beautiful home, just really dirty. Floors were filthy, one of the beds were broken and the main room couch had food crumbs all in the cushions. The natural wood coffee table had food crumbs in bedded in it.

Hi Charles, we didn't hear anything from you during your stay. We even texted to ask if everything was good and never heard anything negative. We're sorry you felt Wine N' Sea was only a 3 star. Family wedding week

Home was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Very unfortunately, the elevator was out of service and the property mgmt co. rudely argued with me that it wasn’t on their listing (yet it WAS on the VRBO site, where I booked.) The mgmt co (OBX Blue) also ordered the unit a new cook top and had it installed during our stay, so we had a repairman in our kitchen for over 3.5hrs- he ended up having to rewire faulty cooktop and turn off breaker to kitchen-so without power for most of that time. Very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. Bottom floor queen bed was full of sand from prior occupants. Microwave oven was filthy. Clearly mgmt co doesn’t have the staff to clean between occupants. Location couldn’t be better. We made best of situation and had a nice time, regardless.

Shari, We regret you were not aware the property's elevator was taken out of service in 2023. There is a new law in North Carolina which requires certain safety standards for guest protection, and regrettably this property's elevator does not meet that standard. Any reference to an elevator was removed at that time. As you know we worked hard to ensure your stay was as comfortable as possible and there was no negative intent when an appliance repair person was sent to the property to fix the cook top in the kitchen. Had it not been fixed you would not have been able to use the stove during your stay which is not something either of us wants. We disagree with your assessment about any of our staff being rude and that we are understaffed. We stand by the many positive comments we receive from other guests and hope you have a better experience the next time.

House was nice, had a few problems

The house was great. Pictures were accurate in the listing. It definitely could have been cleaner. The carpets weren’t vacuumed and it was obvious. One of the bedrooms the sheets had not been changed. This was noticed in the morning after sleeping in the bed. Also when we reserved the house it did state that there was an elevator. One of our group has difficulty walking so this was one of the reasons we chose this house. Upon arrival we could not figure out how to get it to work. I called the office and voiced my concerns. The manager called me back and was extremely helpful. They sent people to change all the bedding and brought blow dryers that we were told would be there but were not. He followed up on all our concerns professionally. Unfortunately the elevator was not in service. We were told that it is no longer operating or in the listing. We had a great trip and would probably rent the house again in the future.

While at one time there was an elevator available for guest use, this amenity was removed in 2022. Wine n sea

Wine n sea was a wonderful spot for our thanksgiving get together! The elevator made those grocery runs a breeze. The cottage was so convenient since it was across the street from the beach , the indoor pool and tennis court and within walking distance to the quaint town of Duck.

Lovely property!

This is a lovely home! Great location -near beach access and walking distance to the village. Property management was responsive to a very minor issue. Great experience!

Spacious Home in Perfect Location

Beautiful 3 level home w 3 main bedrooms/baths. Bathrooms recently modernized. Sleeps 18 comfortably. Main floor had open area and ample seating for large groups to share a meal. Nice backyard with pool w lots of chairs. Just a few steps from the beach. Kitchen had nice perks that included ice maker and wine chiller, but needs some upgrading. Oven and stovetop need servicing/repair. We would definitely rebook this location.

Newman / Whitesmith / Pyle Family Spring Break Trip

Our trip/experience all and all was pleasantly relaxing. The property was just as described and we couldn't of been happier. Because we made the trip in early March we did have some cases with things being closed in the Duck area, but that isn't anyone's fault outside of our scheduling. The only negative we had is that we initially were told the community pool would be open, but unfortunately it was closed we assume for maintenance.

House was perfect and as described

The property was clean and ready on our arrival exactly at 2 pm. The layout was perfect. There was a single towel per person and it would have been nice to have a few spare. There were two dishwashers and multiple coffee makers, including a keurig. Bring extra dish towels with you. The temp in the house was perfect and the Internet worked great. There was a super quick walk to the beach and outside showers that were very nice.

Plenty of space

Wine n' sea was plenty spacious for our family of 18. Kitchen was well stocked and rooms were all great in size and amenities.

Perfect couples getaway

We came to watch a virtual conference. The layout was perfect for the 7 couples who came, along with the common area being a perfect size for all of us. We were all able to fit in the living room and around the table for meals. The place was very clean, had a very well equipped kitchen, and was in a great location with partial beach views. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The place was perfect!

Great location great house great time of the year

House was super clean and very well stocked kitchen. Everything just worked. We did not use the TVs - no need to but would be helpful to list instructions for future guests. Location was great. Walking distance to everything!

Beautiful place

Wine and Sea is a great family property well set up for large groups including small children. The house has a wonderful kitchen and the short walk to the beach was great. We enjoyed the hot tub since the pool was closed for the season. Some beach chairs would be a nice addition.

Amazing location, close to the beach and down town Duck! Absolutely loved it!
