In the heart of Amish Paradise with GREAT view of Lancaster County!

In the heart of the Lancaster County Amish community, this modern 4+ bedroom home is rural, yet located within easy, scenic access to the towns of Intercourse, Paradise, Bird-in Hand, Strasburg and Lancaster city. Visit the nearby historic town of Strasburg with its antiques, steam railroad, state railroad museum and Sight and Sound Theater, or take a short drive through Amish farmland to Intercourse (location of filming for the Harrison Ford movie “Witness” and Kitchen Kettle Village). You can visit Dutch Wonderland Amusement park, one of the many local restaurants, or shop at the outlets, all within easy driving distance. Then enjoy the panoramic view of Lancaster County from the front porch while watching Amish buggies travelling up and down Peach Lane, or relax on the large back porch watching birds and wildlife. Along Peach Lane you will find two Amish Schools and several Amish businesses, including fresh produce at Peach Lane Farmers’ Market and Peach Lane Harness Shop.
Peach Lane Vacation home is a spacious, central air condition and heated home. It can sleep up to 12 with 3 queen size beds, 1 full size bed, 1 futon, one twin-size folding bed and 2 queen-size sleeper sofas. A first floor sitting room can easily be used as a 5th bedroom. Linens are provided. It has 2 full baths, and an additional powder room. Towels, soaps and hair dryer provided. It has a large, open kitchen with modern appliances, including a dish washer. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, including plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, soaps, etc. There is comfortable dinner seating for 12 and a restaurant-style high-chair. The laundry has large, front-loading washer and dryer with detergents, iron and ironing board provided. A pack-n-play, shower chair and toilet seat-riser are available upon request.
The large, open-floor-plan living area is perfect for visiting, watching movies or playing family games. A large selection of books is available as well as 2 flat-screen streaming televisions, DVD players, and hi-speed wi-fi.
Peach Lane vacation home is located on a large 1.4 acre lot with plenty of parking, and space for whiffle ball, grilling on the Weber or relaxing on the large back porch. Enjoy the panoramic, 30-mile view of Lancaster County, with some of the best sunsets on Earth!
Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 11 am however, depending on schedules other times may be available upon request. Peach Lane is a non-smoking, non-pet home.

Please know that a $59 accidental breakage insurance policy is required and there is a $150 one-time cleaning fee.

Great house and host

We, our kids and grandkids had a wonderful stay at Wayne's house. It was a beautiful house and had all the amenities we needed. It is ideally located for the activities we had planned. Wayne is a great host who was very accomodating and quickly communicated to us on any questions we had. We would definitely return and recommend if staying in the area.

Fantastic house in Ronks!

We couldn’t have picked a better home for our stay in Ronks! The house had absolutely everything we needed plus more. It was spacious so that there was room for everyone in our group of eight. There were plenty of games and toys for the children to occupy themselves with. Two very nice extras were the fireplace and the piano. The location was central to many of our activities. Wayne, the host, is extremely accommodating and does whatever he can to make your visit a good one. Lydia, the neighbor across the street, who helps with the house, was so pleasant and really came through for us. We absolutely plan on returning to Peach Lane on our next trip to Lancaster.

Cozy, comfy with views

Most places we stay meet most of our needs. But this home met all our needs. We put an emphasis on HOME!! The views and sunset were beautiful and words cannot describe them. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi! Thank you for letting us make this place home for a week.

Perfect for our family of 8

I couldn't wait to see those beautiful sunsets other reviewers spoke about but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. But that's okay, because it's a beautiful area with so much to see. There was a huge field of wildflowers and sunflowers across the road. I imagine it would be overflowing with flowers during the Summer. We loved to hear the Amish coming down the road of the mornings with the horse and buggies. The property was very nice, clean and had just about everything that we could want or need. The grandkids (age 4-8) had so many things to do without even having to leave the house! There was a huge selection of games and books for all ages. There was even a huge collection of cookbooks in the kitchen! The pantry was stocked with all the basics. Everyone loved the firepit out back.The neighbor and caretaker of the house, Lydia, was so thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. She told the grandkids about the garden and pawpaw trees out back, which we had never seen before! She also brought over some bikes that the kids could ride on. It's in a great location and was a short drive to everywhere we had planned to visit. You will definitely be glad you chose to stay here. Lydia, you are precious. Thank you for making complete strangers feel like part of your family. We'll never forget your kindness! Wayne and Lori, thank you for being so quick to answer any questions we had and for sharing your beautiful home!

Very nice place to stay

Just stayed here for the week, Wayne was very responsive to any questions we had, quick responses, house was very clean, comfortable beds and I would rate our experience and this property higher than 10 if I could. Plan on booking this house again for 2025.

Great house and location!

Another lovely stay in Lancaster County! house was close to most attractions and there was even lots to do while there! Enough room for the kids to play outdoors and inside. Garage was fully stocked with toys and things to do outside...even a bike for riding around the block! TV/Piano room was well set up and relaxing. Big hill was fun for outdoor play...and the VIEW was beyond description!!

An exciting and peaceful stay

There is nothing like when you have been say and then arrive home after so many days. Well this house had us at hello and we did not want to leave when it was time for departure. The house is spacious and well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. We love Lancaster and this is our home away from home.

Most awesome house ever!

This was our 6th year at this Lancaster property. It is the most awesome house ever. It is big and spacious and it is on a very big property where my kids are able to play sports. The porch in front and back are both amazing. The front porch faces a stunning sunset, with Amish Farms in the background. There is an Amish school house across the street. I’ve become good friends with most of the neighbors. They are the best neighbors I ever had! Horse and buggies constantly go up and down the street. They always wave hi. I love walking up the street to watch the Amish working on their farms. It is such a peaceful place. My kids talk about it all year and can’t wait to go back. We have incredible memories and I am so grateful to Wayne and Lori for sharing their home with us. Wayne the owner responds immediately and always takes care of any issues that arise, which hasn’t been much over the 6 years. Lydia, the neighbor that I love and keep in touch with over the year, takes care of the house. She is just a delight! There are many places to go and see, but really, the house and the surrounding area is enough to give you the best time. I can not recommend it enough. Best place ever! As long as this house is available, we will be going back. We will never find another place like it.

Wonderful Gem!

Absolutely enchanting! Our stay was nothing short of perfection. The property itself is stunning, a true gem that exudes beauty and tranquility. The home is immaculate, with a warm and inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We were thoroughly impressed with the spaciousness and comfort of the entire space. We typically visit Pennsylvania once a year, and without a doubt, we would love to return to this wonderful haven. The front room offers a breathtaking view that is simply mesmerizing. Every moment of our stay was filled with joy and relaxation, creating memories we will cherish forever. In fact, we fell so in love with this place that we would be thrilled to call it our own. Yes, we would love to buy it. It was an unforgettable experience, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Another awesome stay

We enjoyed this space so much that we came back again this year! It has a lovely outdoor patio. High ceilings and very spacious living area. A fully equipped and functional kitchen with modern appliances. Easy check in and guests are made to feel so welcomed. Highly recommended for a peaceful, serene and enjoyable vacation with the family.

Relaxing at the edge of paradise.

The property was impressive. Attractions and great food are close by. The house is well kept; neat, clean, and comfortable. Everything works, and the kitchen is complete with everything necessary for meal preparation. The view is spectacular, and it is complimented by colorful flower beds and plantings that surround the house. The host maintained communication from our initial contact to our arrival, making for a smooth no-surprise vacation.

Awesome view of the Lancaster countryside

Tucked away, but not too far away, we found this home to be our retreat for a few days. We had plenty of room to spread out and spent a lot of time on the back patio relaxing and enjoying the awesome views and watching the squirrels and even spotted a hummingbird! The kitchen is well appointed and there are plenty of towels and paper products for a large group. We recommend this property and will stay here again when returning to the area.

What a FANTASTIC Property!!!

Could not have been more satisfied with our stay here. A roomy, well-furnished house in a beatiful setting. Every room was comfortable, the kitchen was among the best equipped that we have seen, the garage (and the toys within) provided an excellent indoor play area for our little guys (ages 6-9), and the outdoor spaces allowed plenty of room to roam, with lots of paved area on which to play when the grass is wet. Though we did not avail ourselves or them, there were also games, puzzles, and books galore to enjoy. Additionally, the rural setting lends itself to much peace and quiet without sacrificing relative convenience to shopping, dining, recreation, and tourist attractions (nearly anything one wants to do is within a 15-30 drive from the house). The owner/host was also amazing. He communicated freely with us throughout the rental process and offered a comprehensive list of stores, restaurants, attractions, and activities near the house. He was also more than flexible and accommodating when our travel plans changed slightly at the very last minute (literally) due to a flight cancellation. He was professional and courteous in every interaction we had with him. When visiting the Lancaster area, it would be hard to imagine a better place to stay. We will definitely seek to stay here should we be in the area again. HIGHLY recommended.

Our roots In Lancaster County date back to Hans Herr, Benedict Brackbill, Hans Groff and other early Anabaptist settlers in Lancaster County. A recent work opportunity has temporarily taken us elsewhere allowing us to share a home that we love with others visiting the area.

For us it has been a home with fantastic neighbors in a beautiful area. After traveling and returning home, we are always amazed by the beauty of the area. The view from the house is one of the best!
