Fabulous ocean views!

The location of the condo was wonderful. Views could not be better in fact listing shows a palm tree without the top. The tree is now gone so it's improved.The area is quiet and very relaxing. We saw whales and surfers.Two concerns-the bed is not comfortable and mattress needs to be replaced.The air conditioner is very loud and the remote didn't work to adjust it.Overall the experience was positive.

Location, location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and beach. Condo had everything we needed. Would have given 5 stars but the furniture is a little tired and needs a refresh.

Issues - minor

Refrigerator top very dirty not wise to store things on tops. Had an internet outage for 36 hours. Patio so nice yet the chairs were very rusty and dirty. Only 1 loungermade it difficult to relax outside with wife

Great location and view!

A fantastic stay at Kona Reef! Check in was a breeze and the condo was well equipped with all the amenities we needed for our stay! Lots of beach towels were provided, as well as amenities for the beach left behind by other guests. The location is great, close to town to grab a happy hour bite, close to a small beach if you need to feel the sand in your toes, and great sunsets every night from the lanai! Property manager was great for communication if we had questions! We would stay again!

Easy 15 min walk to shops and restaurants. I didn't care for the bed. Very firm. Well stocked kitchen. Good for what it was.

Quiet, ocean outside of patio, and a stroll from all the action from the outdoors market to great places to eat. I would def stay at this condo again.

Magical Spring Break

We loved the location and wonderful sunsets all week. The constant crashing of the waves was so peaceful. Very close to everything all activities and restaurants.

Kona Reef is a great location

The complex and this condo were perfect our stay. Kona Reef is walking distance from Kona down town to easily try out different restaurants, etc. This particular condo was very nice and right on the ocean. Great views of the surf and surfers.

Idyllic Location

The view can't be beat, and the location is just as good. The unit is cozy and the perfect size for two - any more than that and it would be too close for comfort. It's decorated for much older visitors. The pool and its amenities are excellent. The bed is uncomfortable - a 3" foam pad on top of the mattress did not do the trick. The furniture is outdated and could use a pick me up but overall, it really was a nice place and we loved spending our 20th anniversary in Kailua-Kona.

Amazing Ocean View

Great location with an easy walk into town. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and it was nice to have inside laundry. They even supplied some beach stuff, including sand mats, beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and bougie board. We Absolutely loved the Ocean front patio with an Amazing View of the Ocean. We would love to stay again in the future.

Our family loved our time at the condo and we would definitly return. The property was well maintained the condo was clean and the place was nice and quite and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. we will fo back for sure.

Oceanside views, poor customer service.

This unit is rented out by a different office than is onsite. They wouldnt hold our bags for a few hours before check in so we had to drag everything with us. I tried to arrange this beforehand and was assured it would not be an issue, however when I arrived i was told it was and the rental company was particularly rude. The women actually onsite wanted nothing to do with us. Overall confusing. It was a good location.

Relaxing, incredible view!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. For me, I just needed an extra blanket. Since everyone else like to sleep with A/c on. And I wish I would have known our room.was equipped with snorkeling gear. which we brought our own because I when I asked. I was told it didn't have any. Extra unnecessary luggage. Everything else was great. this was our 3 time staying at Kona Reef. Family and friends who came to my Daughters wedding also booked at the KR. definitely our go to spot!

Beautiful ocean view property

Worth every Penny for our family stay over spring break! The condo had everything you could need for a great stay. Beach chairs and towels and boogey board was a nice surprise to use. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need to cook, even travel coffee mugs! Thank you so much. We’ll be back to stay!
