Great spot. Was in Kona for 10 days for the Ironman, wanted a place 1 mile to race central, in the middle of it all, but also an escape to sit at the beach, watch the waves and escape it all. Well appointed, everything is as it should be, well stocked kitchen. Really well thought out layout when this was renovated in the past. Fantastic value for the location & space.

We really enjoyed our stay, and the space was great. There were a couple minor things that seem to have been overlooked by the cleaning crew but other than that it was a great stay. The air conditioning was amazing and we were so thankful for that as it was record temps during our stay.

Overall good property. Fantastic Ocean View. Older property, but well maintained. Air conditioned and it worked great. Bed was comfortable. Would book again.

Fabulous location looking directly at the ocean, and steps from the beach. The unit was well appointed in a pleasant traditional Hawaiian style. All questions were answered promptly by the host. Check in/out instructions were clear and easy. I’d happily stay here again!

It was in a great location. Nice and close to the ocean and able to hear the waves crashing.A bit dated some of the decor n such but worked really well for our trip as we spent most days travelling around the big island and some night and mornings in the lovely pool area. Grills in the common area wereIn great shape.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your observations. The décor was designed to evoke the spirit of Old Hawaii in a modern way. Many people notice that in the photos, and sometimes actually book the unit because of it. While many mention it positively in their reviews, we realize it may not be for everyone.

Lovely oceanfront condo with amazing sunset views! Loved falling asleep every night listening to the ocean waves crashing very nearby. Pool/hot tub/BBQ just steps away and conventionally located close to restaurants/bars. Will definitely stay again when heading back to the Big Island!

Can’t beat the view!

Cute condo perfectly located close to “downtown” Kailua-Kona with an unbeatable view and a nice pool and hot tub. Would stay here again!

Lovely spot

All the amenities needed for a great vacation and the view of the ocean from the patio is spectacular with the waves crashing and seeing a few wave riders showing their skills. Awesome sunsets to the right and plenty of birdwatching and activity, too from this location. Easy walk to the market.

Thank you for your comments. It gives us the opportunity to point out that the sunsets in the wintertime are aligned 90-degrees straight out the lanai (patio), and the Hawaiian word for sun is La. Just a couple little astronomy and Hawaiian language lessons thrown in for fun.
