Serene tropical comfort in your own private studio, just steps away from 1 of the top 5 best beaches in the world. Here you can walk for miles on a white, sandy beach or go wind surfing, kite sailing, boogie boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, or swimming. Kailua beach is truly special.

The Tropical Breeze studio boasts garden views, tropical tradewinds and the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. Come and enjoy the aloha spirit and warm sunshine.

The studio has high ceilings with a tropical-designed decor, a large queen size bed, a sitting area, a kitchenette, and a large airy bathroom. This is truly island living at its finest. Your own private entrance, parking and large yard, which is great for a picnic or barbecue. This studio is air-conditioned with the newest eco-friendly unit, plus solar heated water for the extra large walk-in shower. As an added bonus, our studio offers island espresso, beach chairs, beach towels as well as an outside barbecuer. Pool hours are 9:00-3:pm & 5:30-6:30pm.

The studio is located on a private lane with a private gate to access Kailua beach. The walk from the studio to the beach is very short. You truly cannot get any closer to the beach. Unless, of course, you were looking at beach-front properties ;)

Again, aloha spirit, warm sunshine and a clean beautiful beach. What else could you ask for during your next Hawaiian vacation?

The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30 days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. The 30-day rental period will be communicated to guest upon booking. All rates quoted will be based on a 30 day period. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

In compliance with the Revised Ordinances of the City & County of Honolulu, the Property will be made available to you for your use and occupancy for a period of thirty (30) days. If you do not stay for the full 30 day period and stay for your scheduled dates the property will remain vacant through the end of the scheduled 30 day period.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Tropical Breeze unit and it feels like home away from home. Everything is easy and only a minute's walk to the beach where we spent 80 % of our time. We will be back.

Charming Hawaiian Style cottage

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is a bit dated, but so reminiscent of old hawaii. The studio was more than spacious and the shower is a treat aftef a long day of hiking or swimming. Little amenities meant a lot...beach chairs, cooler and laundry facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Location ideal, quiet, beautiful setting

The owner is very nice, the pool is beautiful, the short walk to the spectacular beach is charming. The bed is excellent. We slept wonderfully. The yard is private and relaxing. I will say that it takes a little practice to make breakfast on the hot plate, but after a day we did fine.

This unit and owner have lots of E Komo Mai and Aloha (Welcome and Warmth in Hawaiian)

It has private access to Kailua Beach. A swimming pool and landscaped gardens, visible from the unit. A spacious step-down shower equipped with shampoos, conditioner and soaps in a large bathroom that includes a basket of beach towels and suntan lotions. The kitchenette is ample: large refrigerator-freezer, double sink and microwave. The living room-bedroom contains a queen-size bed, TV with Spectrum TV including premium channels, large sofa, and dining table. We have rented in Kailua for fifteen years. This is a premium property: well-furnished, well-situated, well-priced.

We love staying here for so many reasons. For it's perfect location to the beach, great size room with everything we need , close to the market, stores, Kailua town, and for the great communication with Misty and Joannie. Lovely Property close to the beach

Tropical Breeze is a nice studio with enough kitchen equipment to prepare simple meals, a clean cosy living area and very comfortable bed. The large airy bathroom is a plus and there is ample closet and storage space to tuck away your belongings. The shared private back yard and use of the pool is a wonderful bonus! Beautiful Kailua beach is a short stroll away and beach towels, chairs, boogie boards are provided for guest use. The property owner, Joanie is a very gracious and helpful hostess. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tropical Breeze!!

Location Location But Little Else

Property manager Misty didn't call back to give check in instruction when I called. Granted we were checking in on Christmas Day so we were understanding of the delayed response. She never called back but texted instead after I texted her on Christmas Eve. However, when we got to the place, both the TV and WiFi didn't work. The following are her exact response...Judge for yourself the type of Hospitality you can expect. "There's power outages from the weather Internet isn't working at most of our houses in Kailua I'm shocked you have electricity" By the way, besides the ants, you can also expect cockroaches. I killed 4 during our 9 day stays even though we were very mindful not to keep any food trash inside and cleaned after ourselves every night. However, you can't beat the location. We walked everywhere...Kalapawai Market, Buzz's, & Kailua downtown with private access to Kailua beach. The owner was kind enough to introduce herself when informing us she was turning on the sprinklers. We appreciated that.

Perfect setup for a beach vacation

This apartment was perfectly set up for a beach stay. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off sand and the indoor shower is also huge. We would spend our days at the beach (1 minute away through a private entrance) and then walk to Kailua downtown for dinner (about 20 minutes away). The landlord and property owner were especially accommodating. Instead of renting a car, we had rented our own canoe and they let us store it in the backyard.

Very nice and private

Very nice and private area, definitely a great escape from busy Honolulu! Beach was a little over a minute walk and was great to have so close day or night! Washer and dryer was definitely helpful! Owner very nice! Thank you!

Great location!

Wonderful little place - nothing modern but certainly charming. The one issue I experienced was some displeasure from the homeowner when we used the pool even though it’s included in the rental. They were upset because they thought our sunscreen made the water cloudy and suggested we not wear it. On another occasion they mentioned we were being loud while swimming although I did not think our volume was anything but appropriate. We just didn’t feel welcome in the pool. I’d rather it just not be included in the rental than have it included but not feel welcome. Otherwise this was a fantastic rental!

Cozy and Prime Location!

This cottage was perfect for me as I was traveling alone for a week's stay. Location is everything! I loved being able to walk to Kalapawai Market for morning coffee, and it is just a couple doors down to Kailua Beach, the best beach on the island. Parking was easy and the accommodations were clean and convenient. The neighborhood was nice and surprisingly quiet at night. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The cottage is definitely "rustic" and there was a little evidence of ant activity, but nothing concerning; generally everything was clean, well stocked, and in good working order. I would gladly stay here again!
