We do not pre-sell a late check-out. Late check-out inquiries may be made 24 – 48 hours before the confirmed departure (check-out) date.
Extended Stay Fee Schedule (If Available, Pre-Arranged & Approved in writing):
Up to 3 Hours: $50 per hour
3 to 5 Hours: Charged at a half-day rate
5+ Hours: Charged at a full-day rate (may not extend beyond 11:59 PM of the day of confirmed departure)
Same-Day Transitions: On days when we have both a departure and an arrival guest, check-out must be by 10:00 AM; no exceptions.
Guaranteed Late Check-Out: Guests can purchase the additional night when booking to ensure a late check-out.

Rick is fortunate to have grown up here in Lanikai and reside in his childhood home with his wife Nini, three daughters, and two dogs; Tom and Daisie. We have hosted countless guests from around the world, many are annual repeat guests that we consider family! Rick loves fishing! Many of our guests have enjoyed an outing on our glass-bottom boat for a day of sightseeing, light tackle fishing, and sea-life exploration. We also love spending time in our sister state - Alaska, where our eldest daughter calls home and where Rick has worked as a charter captain out of Seward, Alaska. We are fortunate to have a large number of repeat guests who have become dear family friends and who have experienced the growth of our family, celebrating birthdays and holidays with us. We have been hosting a Canadian family each year since 1995 and a couple from Kennebunk, ME since 2000. We are fortunate to share our piece of paradise with each guest who comes through our doors, and we cherish the friendships and lifelong bonds we develop along the way.
If asked what the most rewarding attribute of our business is, the best answer would have to be that when we host a guest and they share with us that they could only have imagined what a special place we live in.
