Lodge/ Cabin- Large Groups & Sportsman - Private Beach - Parking -fire pit

The Driftwood Lodge is a pet friendly rental with access to 125 feet of private beach. The beach, which is also pet friendly, has a fire pit, deck and beach hut. A gazebo with electricity and a fire pit located in our grassy courtyard. A self-serve fish cleaning shed and boat trailer parking without disconnecting is available.
The beach is private for Driftwood guests only.

Our Driftwood Lodge has 3 bedrooms with a loft sleeping area and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are downstairs with one bedroom and the sleeping loft are upstairs. You can sleep 16 people total or 10 in separate beds. There is a full bathroom on each level. We also have a pull out sofa if needed.

Pet fee of $125.00 per stay. No smoking inside of lodge.

We are located in the heart of Vacationland near the friendly village of Bay View within walking distance of a fishing pier, Clemons Marina with boat rental, a ramp and dockage, town park, locally owned restaurants, laundromat, as well as a bar & grill with outdoor seating and tiki bar.

Cedar Point, Lake Erie Islands, Marblehead lighthouse and many other local attractions are within a short drive from our central location. Walking trails in various parks and quarries.

Nice house for a large group. We all had comfy beds and lots of room. Two refrigerators were a bonus. The beach was amazing! Plenty of seats and the kids loved playing in the water. Boat docks are close by. I would definitely stay here again. Good bars/restaurants within walking distance. Communication was great with the owners.

The house had lots of sleeping areas and provided everything needed. We did have an issue with the upstairs bathroom leaking into the bedroom downstairs and the private beach was absolutely full of broken glass.

As a Premier Host for over 5 years this review is tough and a bit conflicting. Guest stated we provided everything needed, but then rated 3 stars. We take pride in providing great family experiences at Driftwood and host returning families year after year. This is the first time since we purchased the property of any complaints regarding glass on the beach. The beach is on Sandusky Bay - we do have many broken shells that wash in with the tide, not glass. When we went to property to clean for next group, we did not find any evidence of broken glass anywhere on beach. Guests heavily used the no charge kayaks and paddleboards throughout the stay - which reside on the beach, with no issues. The upstairs tub may have an issue draining quickly when the overflow is reached, we will be working to improve during the slower rental season. We continue to host appreciative guests and making stays enjoyable for all who choose us. Happy to answer any inquiries and ask to view our 5 star reviews. TKU

Great property for a big group. Lots of room. The grounds are nice and the beach is right across the street. Beach is great. We swam, we used their kayaks and paddle boards. There's two fire pits, one on the property and one at the beach. The house itself is fine.. Had everything you needed. Although it's quite dark inside the house because of all the wood but really not an issue. Great location. Maybe a 15-minute drive to cedar point, good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend Cleats. We went there for dinner. It was delicious and they have these fun hermit crab races that your kids can participate in. Overall, I highly recommend Driftwood cottage.

House exactly as advertised, well kept, and clean! Perfect for our group of 8 fisherman and 3 boats. Great parking, easy in and out. Conveniently located to fish east or west and access to highway. Host extremely friendly and easy to reach. Would recommend to anyone!!

The cabin and private beach area worked out great for our group.

The rustic cabin was well stocked. We were able to grill out and the assistance from the neighbors involved with beach rentals was nice.

Excellent experience

I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one was by far the most convenient, the cleanest and the best hostess. I would recommend this property for any size group. We have a wonderful time.

Great family getaway!!!

This was the perfect spot for the family to gather and spend time together! We had 3 generations and everyone enjoyed it! The host was amazing! Definitely would go back here again!

Perfect Place to Stay

The cabin and property are very well maintained. This is the perfect getaway for a weekend vacation. We used this property as an offsite leadership meeting location. It served us very well with wonderful amenities, ample parking, and beautiful view of the lake. I’d recommend this to anyone!

Fishing on Lake Erie

Great place, plenty of room for multiple people. Close to all boat launches. Very nice, help,quick responses. Highly recommend.

Fishing Trip
