Old, Outdated, and Unclean!

This property needs a major facelift- furniture, carpets, and decorations need replacing. The property is located on a golf course with golf privileges however you can't make tee times until you arrive and get a guest pass and by that time, all were booked! Finally the place was very unclean- dusty, dirty dishes put away in the cabinets, and even a present left in the tollet!

What a view!

The location is wonderful, easy to access and the view is spectacular. Good amenities though we weren’t there long enough to test them all. Very comfortable condo. Unfortunately the sliding doors in the master and the bedroom windows were ‘sealed’ shut, don’t know if that is intentional or a build up of dust and sand. The place is probably due for a wash the walls clean. Updating the TV set up would be helpful, not that we spent much time watching. All in all, great experience.

Excellent Stay

Nice, quiet place on the course. We stayed here while we were in town for a festival. The shuttle was close by and this place gave us the peace and quiet we needed after managing crowds at the venue. The check in and check out processes were easy and we had every amenity we could want. Recommend.

Palm Desert gem

Condo with south facing patio abutting golf course. In the Palm Valley Country Club so golf, tennis, pickle ball and multiple pools available. Condo well furnished and gas Weber grill on patio. Property manager, Marlene, was excellent in providing information and even an early check in. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Nice & Relaxing Stay

Enjoyed staying in a beautiful home. The provided in-home accommodations are above and beyond and made our stay there much more comfortable. The nearby pools are within walking distance, along with plenty of shopping centers and restaurants of all sorts are a short drive away. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Sunrise spectacular!

This property met all expectations. Clean and well stocked. We stayed on a fairway where we were met with a beautiful sunrise every morning. People were out walking their dogs and everyone was super friendly. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Condo with Beautiful Location right on the Golf Course!

I have stayed at this condo several times in the past for a variety of reasons: anniversary trip with my husband where he golfed on the golf courses (and I either came along for the ride or visited the spa); family trip with the kids where we played in the pool and barbequed on the patio or with girlfriends for a music weekend at Coachella! Every time is always great...the owners are attentive and the place has all of the amenities. The bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled, with new appliances and anything else we might need! There are 3 spacious bedrooms, so plenty of sleeping space, a large family/tv room and a patio with a gorgeous spot right on the golf course. There are lots of pools to choose from, but there is a great one just 3 houses down with a nice big jacuzzi and the condo is always clean and well-maintained. I will definitely continue to come back...including next week when I'm booked for another Coachella weekend!

Could've been very nice but....

Unfortunately, we can not leave a good review of this property. The unit has been remodelled quite nicely, but some key necessities have been left untouched. It has a great view of the fairway as the picture indicates. There are two large (4') sliding doors to let the outdoor air in, of which only one works. The other is close to not working and was difficult for my wife to open. One of the window frames in one of the bedrooms is also broken. The VRBO ad speaks of a printer, which is important to us, as we have a bit of work we bring with us on vacation. The printer was not working (dried out ink cartridges). We contacted the owner - no response. The same went for the broken window - no response. We asked 4 times about getting someone in to fix the stuck 4' sliding door before getting this response - "We have used the other door for 15 years. No one has ever complained." That stuck sliding door is one half of the opening. Both sliders could be fixed for very little money. The shutters are also broken, and they were not willing to fix those either. It might be a good idea to let the prospective clients know in advance what works and what doesn't. We are coming from a cold wet climate to enjoy a month of sunshine and warm air. For amount of money we paid, we expect both 4' sliding doors to function. We expect a fully functional unit with everything working as advertise. The dining room chairs are very uncomfortable because the webbing is so old and stretched that your derriére goes right through the seat and the frame of the seat is what holds you up...new chairs? Again, not a big deal or expense to fix. Also, we asked the management specifically if there were bugs (as mentioned in another review of this property), and we were promised there were NO bugs. There ARE bugs....crickets are getting in somewhere...probably through the sizeable hole in the screen door to the patio. I do not like bugs, esp in that quantity. Too bad. With a little TLC this could be a 4 or 5 out of 5.

Perfect vacation condo!

We have stayed at this condo every year for the past 10 years & love it! We have brought other family members with us on occasion & have recommended it to friends as well. The owners have made numerous upgrades over the years, including the kitchen & master bath, both very tastefully done. The amenities are many, cable with HBO, internet, a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer & TV's in all 3 bedrooms, kitchen & living room, & a stereo. We always make use of the available golf cart & bikes. The condo is an end unit, affording it with lots of light, & just a 30 second walk to one of many pools in the resort. We will be making reservations for another visit in just a few weeks - can't wait!

Just okay...

The house was the right size and kitchen was well stocked. The property is in an excellent location... However the house needs to be fumigated and the artificial plants need to be replaced and or removed. The bug problem is an issue for renters. My grandsons didn't like all the bugs.

Great place to stay

We rented this house for a cousins' retreat in the month of August. My sister also owns a condo nearby in the Palm Valley Country Club so half of us stayed here and the other half at my sister's house. A hot time to come, but at least we don't have to fight the crowds. We enjoy the community and the pools. We found the home to be clean, well maintained and consistent with how it was advertised. Marlene was easy to work with and communicated well.

Thanksgiving vacation

We rented 2 condos in a Palm Valley CC over Thanksgiving 2014. This condo had the nice feature of offering a club membership if you want to golf or play tennis. The actual condo is very dated. The bathrooms were remodeled as was the kitchen. But the couch and linens were older. The condo is full of the owner's belongings and lots and lots of stuff. But be sure to bring your own bar of soap. The place was crawling with crickets. We killed hundreds of them in the rugs/ tile and up the walls. We told this to the manager and she told us it was quote " Good luck in a China". The neighbors didn't have these "gross" issues because they had paid exterminators to keep up on the problem. The condo and garage could use a very thorough cleaning beyond a quick cleaning between tenets. I would not stay here again

Wonderful Vacation Stay

Great Stay. Good size and nice upgrades. Golf Cart needs a little work and the BBQ could be larger. Other than those items it was a very nice stay with the family and Marlene is very easy to work with. Thank you very much and we look forward to it again.....

Wonderful setting

My family of four enjoyed a peaceful stay over Christmas at this lovely condo in Palm Desert. Our contact, Marlene, was so easy to work with and answered all questions prior to the visit! I left a hanging bag of clothes, and she has been so helpful in getting it returned. The condo is located in a gated, immaculately groomed country club complex. There were flowering plants everywhere! What beautiful landscape to look over while dining on the patio of the condo as each looks a fairway. The condo was easy to find and even though the units were close together, I never felt a lack of privacy. The garages are all in the front and you walk to the back to enter. The unit was clean and very well-maintained. The entry way leads to the kitchen/dining/family room on the left, and two bedrooms and an office on the right. The office has been turned in to a bedroom with a queen-size bed and was quite roomy, and though it had no closet, that was not a problem. The master bedroom was very spacious and had a large bathroom with tub/shower and separate toilet. There was tons of storage. The other bedroom was also large and could be used as a second master as it had a door to the second bathroom. The laundry room had washer/dryer and they supplied all the detergents (pet peeve is that it would be better to have fragrance-free detergent). The kitchen was well-stocked. We prepared a full-blown Christmas dinner and didn't have to purchase any additional cooking dishes. I can't really think of anything not available in the kitchen - people obviously must use this place a lot as there were tons of spices and other cooking staples (we used ours brought from home). The dining room would seat 6 and the living room was very comfortable and had a gas fireplace that we enjoyed on Christmas morning. There is also a computer, printer and wireless set up which was perfect for us with iTouch! We loved everything about the condo except for a few points listed below. We dined at the club house one night for pasta and would highly recommend that - the food was fantastic. The golf cart and two sets of clubs were used for a round of golf - thanks! The only cons - the dining chairs were very uncomfortable; the detergent used for laundry bothered those of us with fragrance allergies; I had to move items in the fridge to make room for our purchases; and there are mirrors everywhere - each room has a wall full. Even my twenty-somethings commented on that! I would recommend to friends.

Great stay

We loved our stay here. It was a very comfortable place with nice amenities. Great location on beautiful golf course and near many other courses, restaurants and stores. The three bedrooms were all comfortable. We had three adult couples total and there was plenty of room. Free wi-fi definite plus. Easy to deal with Marlene.

We had a great time at PV...

We had a great time at PVCC and found the condo to be perfect in every way. The decoration and function, from the living areas to the bedrooms created a comfortable and very tasteful environment. We will definitley come back.

We had a great time stayi...

We had a great time staying at this condo. The unit was beautiful and the golf course location along with the Clubhouse features made us feel like we were staying at a very nice resort. Looking foward to staying here again.

The newly remodeled kitch...

The newly remodeled kitchen was a big plus for our stay over Thanksgiving. This place offers not only the use of their golf cart, but also has the platnium membership which allows the use of the facilities including golf and the terrific spa and workout facility.
