Relaxing Beach Bungalow

Escape to this bayside retreat in South Mission Beach, where relaxation meets convenience. Just 50 yards from the bay and 300 yards to the ocean, this serene 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home offers the perfect balance of privacy and tranquility. Unwind on the private patio with a fire pit, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and enjoy the ease of a spacious 2-car garage. With A/C, high-speed internet, and a washer/dryer, your comfort is covered. Plus, the home is fully stocked for beach days—wagon, chairs, boogie boards, cooler, towels, and more. The Space:
The cottage welcomes you through a cozy outdoor patio with seating, an outdoor fire pit, and a grill inviting you to spend some quality time in the front yard this vacation. But when you do decide to retire, we have CENTRAL AC!

The open concept living room has comfortable seating and a 55" smart TV. It flows right into an amazing kitchen with a pass through bar with a wine fridge and bar seating. You can cook just about anything as it is well-appointed with an oven, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, toaster, and drip coffee-maker!

There are three wonderfully appointed bedrooms. The "master bedroom" has an en-suite, a king-sized bed, and a 50" smart TV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a 43" smart TV, while the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds to sleep 4 kiddos (or adults) and another 43" smart TV. There is a full bathroom in the hallway that is shared between these bedrooms. There is another half bathroom off the kitchen for your convenience.

When you get back from the beach you can head down the west side of the home to find a private outdoor heated shower to wash off before you head into the house through a side-door off the kitchen (via a half-bathroom). If you do decide to leave the area, you can feel free to come and go as you please as parking is not an issue with a 2-car garage, which will accommodate a large car or SUV.

You will experience the charm of Mission Beach here! The houses all face each other across a sidewalk (hence the "Court" designation). You may see kids riding bikes to and from the boardwalk and bayside walk while friendly neighbors are outside grilling and chatting. You will also hear the ice-cream truck come by!"

Guest Access:
You have the complete house to yourselves, including courtside patio. A normal sized two-car garage (anomaly at the beach) make the beach experience perfect as no need to hunt for parking. We also provide boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys and beach towels for your use when visiting.

The Neighborhood:
Mission Beach is an amazing coastal community designed around "courts" with all of the residences facing one another across a sidewalk. That design creates a cozy and homey feel (and also limits the amount of car traffic) making Mission Beach the ideal spot to "live at the beach".

Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail...all rental options are just minutes away).

Getting Around:
Rental bikes and scooters are plentiful for rent by the hour/day/week. The Boardwalk and Bayside Walk are wonderful ways to travel throughout the beach and bay. The 2-car garage guarantees that you will always have parking should you venture out into greater San Diego. We've also partnered with a local company, PB Golf Cart Rentals, that offers daily rentals in a customized Golf Cart. Whether you need it for the day, the weekend, or the week, they've got you covered. With flexible pricing and local pickup & drop-off, you’re minutes away from riding around San Diego in style. Other Things to Note:
For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.
Beach Equipment: despite the inclusion of snorkeling gear, we do not offer it at our rentals

Interaction with Guests:
We are a self-service destination (check-in details will be sent 3 days prior to arrival). However, we are also a full-service, professional management company (that has been a Superhost for over 4 years running) and we are just a phone call/text/email away and have agents that are almost never more than 10 minutes away should a need arise.
