Sanctuary Cottage is conveniently situated - within walking distance of the north side beach as well as Food Fair. It is well equipped and Rachel is a delight to work with.

Ms Rachel made it incredibly easy at check in, even met us at the dock to help with luggage. House was incredibly clean and well taken care of, if anything better than the pictures. Would definitely stay here again. Great location

The house was more wonderful than advertised. Island was very fun and safe. Pool was a must-have with small children. Rachel was overly accommodating and very sweet.

We had a really great stay at the Sanctuary Cottage! Thank you Rachel for being so kind and accomodating! We were very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Loved all the cute decorations and the local artwork. The outdoor space is gorgeous. Lots of big palms tree and plants so it felt very secluded and like you were in your own little world. Our kids loved the pool and there were lots of toys already at the house for them to play with. It was only a short golf cart ride to the beach but we really spent a good bit of time by the pool since it was so lovely. We enjoyed our time here and would love to stay again!

The place was amazing and Rachel was very accommodating and responsive, even helping us with luggage to and from. The location was perfect. We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) and we had plenty of space. At the house, most of our time spent was outdoors because the pool and patios were so amazing. There was so much charm and attention to detail of all the furnishings and decor. The house was well stocked with towels, toys, drinking water, even sunscreen. We would absolutely recommend anyone considering a trip to the Caribbean check out Spanish Wells and specifically this listing... we booked a return trip next year within days of checking out!

The pool and outdoor area was very nice. The house was clean and hostess was very responsive and helpful. The reason for the low rating on value was because 2 of the 4 beds were in very bad shape. Impossible for couples to sleep in. Too soft, lumpy and small. The living room couch was small, old and worn. We left with sore backs. The pots and pans were old and rusty. If these items were upgraded, we’d stay again but not until then.

Sanctuary cottage is the perfect location to have a relaxing holiday in Spanish Wells

Beautiful property in a great location with all the facilities you need. Rachael and her team are fantastic to deal with, we enjoyed the entire stay and will be visiting again soon.

A hidden gem

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is conveniently situated and perfect. We had 6 adults and the pool is a welcome tropical retreat, even when it’s windy on the beach. The host was attentive to our needs, and a pleasure to deal with. Happily recommend.

Perfect for our family!

Rachel was a great host before, during, and after our stay. The house was perfect and the pool was just the right touch. We were within walking distance to the beach and we would finish our day in our own pool! Highly recommended!

Paradise

Spanish Wells is such a unique place and so is Sanctuary Cottage. The pool made our stay with the kids so much more enjoyable. The island is so charming. Be sure to get ice cream every night. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Cottage

What a lovely cottage. Rachel has it so we'll equipped, and so cutely decorated. And the pool and patio are wonderful and private. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and 2 to the local grocery store. Perfect location. We stayed 10 nights and had a very relaxing vacation.

Our home away from home

This is our 6th time visiting Spanish Wells and this is always our favourite place to stay. Aside from the perfect physical location and the amazing swimming pool and outdoor area, Rachel, the host, ensures every question is answered, every detail is finalized and considered, and goes above and beyond to make sure our stay here is the best it can be. We will be booking again for sure!

A True Sanctuary

We've rented The Sanctuary Cottage from Rachel more than a half-dozen times. Every year we look forward to this welcoming respite from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Rachel's creative hospitality is unmatched!

A true "Sanctuary"

We've stayed with Rachel countless times over the years, and her lovely cottage ALWAYS delivers. We noticed several improvements this year which goes to show how much care Rachel puts into her properties. The Sanctuary is such a lovely place for rest & relaxation...
