Charming Casa Montecito in Peaceful Mission Hills

This upstairs unit is sunny and very private. The living room has a 65" smart TV with Apple TV and high speed internet. There are lots of board games to enjoy with family and friends. The dining area can seat 8 comfortably. In the kitchen every convenience is at your fingertips; Kitchen-Aid range, convection microwave, Bosch dishwasher, and a Kitchen-Aid full size refrigerator with filtered water and ice-maker.
The primary bedroom features a Cal king size mattress and the 2nd bedroom is also a Cal king mattress.
In addition to the king size beds there is a self-inflating queen air mattress and a twin cot that can be set up in the family room. Linens are a high thread count with fluffy down/alternative comforters.
One bath has a shower and tub, the second has a walk in shower. A new, full-size, stackable washer and dryer are in the home.
Outdoor spaces around the home are available for your enjoyment., There are two patios, one with table and chairs and a BBQ grill, the other with fire-pit and Adirondack chairs. Two balconies off the living room are a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

This house was very well appointed and clean. Amenities were excellent and the host was very communicative and helpful. My family and friends who stayed at this home over the last few days for our Comic Con vacation have all been quite impressed by our stay here. Thank you, Bob, for a very pleasant and memorable stay!

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Mission Hills was a great location to be near SDSU for my son’s college graduation. This home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a nice little corner store and deli for drinks and snacks. We walked to dinner one night. We had dogs on our trip and it was a lovely area for dog walking. It was a great hangout for a large group of us. Loved it! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location and such a beautiful place to stay

Can’t say enough great things about this property. Beds are so comfortable, space is amazing, decor is on point and it’s so quiet. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely stay!

Had a great time staying at Casa Montecito. The property and place was gorgeous and perfect to stay in for a few weeks. Lots of light and patio space as well as walking distance to stores, restaurants and a park. Melinda and Bob were great hosts and we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and house!

Everything about this house was amazing! My family enjoyed a relaxing holiday in Mission Hills and couldn’t stop talking about when we can come back and book the same property.

Beautiful property great location

This property was in a great neighborhood with close proximity to all things San Diego. It was a very peaceful sanctuary after our days spent on Coronado, Temecula, and the Old Town area!! Definitely would recommend this rental to others and would stay there again.

Wonderful rental in quiet neighborhood

What a nice stay. 4 adults and the rental had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy the area. Very quiet neighborhood and friendly owners on-site who had great communication. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Property was lovely for a few day vacation in San Diego to visit family. Excellent location. Close to everything San Diego has to offer. Property was clean and quite spacious! Neighborhood is lovely and scenic and quiet.

Very much enjoyed the open concept design of the living area with lots of windows. Quality furniture and decor. Lovely to walk through the neighborhood and see the interesting houses and landscaping. Bob is a very friendly and helpful host. Would love to stay there again!

Amazing little historical home.

We loved every minute of our stay. The home is we’ll taken care of and a charming piece of preserved history. We enjoyed how it was located close to everything. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely book again.

My future wife and I drove through beautiful Mission Hills in 1985 remarking how we would like to live here someday! We realized this dream and did a complete remodel to update the entire property.

Casa Montecito is a historic home built in 1913. In 1923 it was converted into a duplex with upper and lower units. I reside in the downstairs unit. Mission Hills is a special place. An upscale, quiet, friendly, walkable and safe neighborhood. We are sure you will enjoy it!

Close to all and walk or bike to restaurants and parks. Or sit on the porch and enjoy the cool ocean breezes.
