This was a great house for our family of 5. Everything was clean and logically laid out. Host was very friendly and extremely responsive. I would be happy to return here on our next trip to SD. Thank you!

Located on a quiet street with great restaurants within walking distance. Fantastic communication with hosts! Was the perfect location for our trip —-close to airport, close to Balboa Park. Would recommend for individuals desiring quiet location.

The home is located on a quiet little side street just a short walk from a lively yet relaxed commercial district. Easy walk to get coffee, shop or get a meal. The home itself was clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms were nicely appointed. The outdoor patio was a nice extra, a great place to have morning coffee or an after dinner glass of wine. The weather was warm during our trip but the AC units throughout the home let us stay very comfortable. We had six adults in our party and never felt cramped. The owners were very responsive to our questions and even managed to locate a couple items for us, which we greatly appreciated. We would certainly stay here again, we had a fine time in San Diego.

We had an excellent stay at this property! The communication with the hosts was top notch. The house was accurately described, clean, well-appointed, and in working order. The house is located on a narrow street, but the street and neighbors are quiet. Having air conditioning in all of the rooms and common area was definitely a plus!

We’ve stayed in many rentals in San Diego and this was the best! Very clean, excellent bedding and furnishings, lovely patio, very responsive hosts.

Our family of four, stayed at TJ and Blanca’s beautiful home for a long weekend for the San Diego marathon. We could not have asked for a more perfect home away from home. From the comfortable and clean beds to the well stocked kitchen so we were able to carb up before the race with a great pasta dinner, everything was fantastic!TJ was very helpful with questions before and after booking and during our stay. Tons of windows to enjoy the amazing San Diego weather and the deck was an added plus.We loved the quiet side street location that was close to just about everything. Thank you TJ and Blanca!

This property is exactly as listed -- and that's a very good thing. We felt at home the moment we walked in the front door. The living room is comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. The home is well-located in a friendly neighborhood. We walked to several spots, but it was just a quick drive to other areas of San Diego. The off-street parking beside the home is a plus. When we booked the property, the hosts shared an extensive list of recommendations in the neighborhood that helped us plan our stay. After we checked in, they reached out to see that all was OK. When we reported a power strip that had developed a short, they quickly stopped by to switch it out -- and thoughtfully arranged to do so while we were out exploring the area. We knew we could reach out at any time if we needed anything, but we didn't needed to do that. Everything was great. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't use the outside patio area. It's a lovely hangout spot, but there was a pesky squirrel that would not leave us alone. We had to retreat inside. We suspect the squirrel had been fed by prior guests. That was unfortunate, but it was not the hosts' fault.Bottom line: This is a great property in a location that provides easy access to all the charms and attractions of San Diego.

There is a fruit tree across the street which I see squirrels steal from, maybe that tree was low :). Thank you for being great guests, we would love to see you again someday!

Ideal house for walking in the quiet Hillcrest neighborhood which offers many restaurants and shops. Quick ride to movies, Balboa Park (Zoo , museums and trails) and close to the coast for beach walking. Easy ride to Coronado and La Jolla. Comfortable LR, bedrooms and baths. Nice kitchen, but we were out mostly! Great hosts, too. Hope you enjoy your stay - this was great for the four of us.

San Diego Get-away

The cute house was the perfect spot to enjoy all the wonderful sites in San Diego, I.e., Balboa Park, Old Town, the harbor and more. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.
