Great week fro our family lf 10 at this property! So much fun and the rooms and spaces were just perfect. Watercolor amenities were excellent. We hope to stay here in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!The home is very comfortable and it is located in an ideal location.The beds were definitely welcoming after a long day!The pool & club amenities were a hit with our girls!

We had a great time! Excellent location - walked to town center and beach club. Home was clean and organized. Really enjoyed beach club and camp watercolor. There was limited wifi in the bedroom above the garage but main house was fine. Overall, highly recommend.

Great place and location! Was really well equipped with everything you need. As it states it doesn’t come with beach supplies or bikes so we brought our own. Will stay again!

Incredible Property and Stay!

This home was exactly what we were looking for! So well maintained and clean, great layout, close to the beach (easy walk to Seaside and Watercolor), access to Watercolor pools and beach. Could not ask for more and hope to stay here many more times!

It would have been helpful to have a starter package in ea h bathroom with soap, shampoo and Kleenex

Great for Families

Property was as good as advertised. Owner speedily responded to small plumbing issue. Highly recommended.

40th Bday at the Beach

House was perfect for our group of 10 adults! Great location to walk easily into Seaside village or to the Watercolor Beach Club. Plenty of room to spread out inside & out, and room to hang out as a group in the main house.

Spring break 2024

We enjoyed the house which was very warm and inviting....carriage house was such an added bonus! Great communication with the owner...would definitely rent again.

Great location for all things Watercolor

The house was just the right size for our group. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the beach club and the same from the boat house. You can bike up to Publix and get into Seaside easily, too! Highly recommend.

Great house & great location!

The house was exactly as it looked online. The location is a walk/really short bike ride to Seaside and Watercolor beach. We had 2 families of 5, and there was plenty of room. The communication with Shelly about the house was easy, and very responsive. I would stay here again!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay at this Watercolor home. The host was very responsive, the house was well furnished, and the location was peaceful. We rode bikes or took the golf cart to the beach and into Seaside for coffee, dinner, books, and ice cream. The kitchen is a bit cozy for large groups, but we made it work. We've been coming to Watercolor for years and this home was just perfect for our large family of 10.

Perfect for Our Family

Shelly's place was perfect for our group of family and friends on spring break. We had a total of 8 - 4 teens and 4 adults. Close walking and biking distance to Seaside and Watercolor beaches and town centers. House was beautiful with everything we needed and Shelly and Deanne were very responsive if we had a question or needed anything. We would definitely rent again!

Spring Break

House was fine. Needs some refurbishment. Strong fish smell when we checked in after being cleaned. I am sure given its location and size it gets lots of use and it shows. Watercolor is great spot for any family vacation.

Texas Spring Break 2022

Beautiful home Perfect watercolor location Traveling with toddlers no pool on property was a plus (plus with access to the beach club pools and camp watercolor pools there is really no need for a pool onsite) Walking distance to watercolor/seaside Watercolor beach club Watercolor boathouse Home porches with rocking chairs and a porch swing bed were a plus So relaxing Owner was very responsive

Parking

Property sleeps 12 people or more, but vehicle parking really only accommodates one vehicle. For the rental fee their really needs to be reasonable accommodations for 2 vehicles.

While we have parking directly in front of the house, with in Watercolor, all of the parking pads located in front of the homes are all unassigned & open for rental guests & owners alike. Therefore, utilizing the pad next door or any of the pads along Western Lake Drive is an option. Hope this helps for your next stay!

Lovely Home

Lovely home great location to Watercolor pool access. Didn’t need a golf cart except for grocery load and when it rained. Otherwise walking to all : Seasid me and Watercolor. Shelly is very responsive to needs .

Great property, technology aspect not so much.

Property was great! Internet and tv service was terrible. The men wanted to watch several football games during the weekend and we just had to cut them off because of the glitchy tv. We also had to unconnected our phones from Wi-Fi because nothing would load. Other than those two issues, the stay was fantastic!

Comfortable house for large family

The living space was lovely and well decorated. The house should have been better stocked with basics for a vrbo listing. We as renters had to go purchase bath soap as it wasn’t supplied in any of the bathrooms, nor was extra toilet paper. There was no broom to clean the floor, could have used more tall garbage bags for the kitchen, the WiFi was spotty with the incorrect password provided and the television was pixilated which made it difficult to watch.

Thank you for letting us know about the things you weren’t able to locate- Definitely reach out during your stay w/any questions in the future~ There is a broom and a vacuum stored in the downstairs bedroom closet, as well as a dust pan w/a small hand held broom in the kitchen. The WiFi is listed on a laminated print out in a kitchen drawer & a reboot of the router typically fixes any tv issues that may arise~ Hope you all were able to make some great memories at the beach 🏖

Summer vacation 2022

Location was great with easy access to all the pools and beach club. Overall house was comfortable with plenty of space for 10 of us. While the location of the house is nice it is on the busy street with roads three side of the proposers, it can be a little loud at night. The listing notes bikes but we did not get those and the owner ghosted us until the last night there regarding other minor issues. Would also recommend renting a golf cart in advance along with confirming bikes. Tram service was nice but it was down for portions of the stay. We would consider staying here again as overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Annual Girls' Trip

The property is truly amazing. It is so convenient to the beach club, restaurants and shopping. It is beautifully decorated and exactly as pictured. We had just a few small issues I would like the owner to be aware of. We couldn't lock the carriage house when we left each day in order to secure our belongings, and if you arrive on Sunday, you have to go Monday to pick up your wristbands yourself. We were notified of this but not sure where to go to do that. It seems like they could have been picked up on Saturday and left for us. We finally figured it out. These were very small issues, and definitely not deal breakers. We loved the house and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for family beach trip!

This house is not only stunning, but in an amazing location!!! Our large family stayed here this year for our family vacation and could not have been more pleased. The house is so well put together and maintained and had plenty of space for all of us. The guest house added great space as well. The kitchen is a little small for the size of the house, but we still cooked/ate most of our meals in the house. It is a short walk to the beach and a short walk into seaside town center— our family walked into seaside every morning for coffee and pastries. The only downside was the new watercolor beach club was suppose to be open by our stay (Memorial Day 2019) but we didn’t find out it wasn’t completed until we arrived. But we went to the camp watercolor pool, which all the kids loved but it’s not as close to the house. There is a complimentary golf cart shuttle that will pick you up and take you to/from the pool which was nice When the beach club does opens, you really won’t be able to beat this house and it’s size/location. The property manager, DeAnne, was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience and we would love to return!!

We had a really unfortunate experience staying at this rental home for a week. The house was not well maintained and we spent our entire vacation messaging with the host and coordinating with repair people. The dryer wasn't working (and we weren't given enough towels for the week to not need it), the microwave didn't work, the A/C went out, there was a leak from the Powder Bath ceiling, and one of the toilet's stopped flushing. We spent a significant amount of money on this rental and were not offered any portion of a refund. I would not recommend renting this home. It was beautiful and the location was great, so it was a very unfortunate experience.
