This property is a scam, don’t book it

Unfortunately, VRBO really screwed me on this one. We arrived to find cockroaches and two less beds than the listing showed. So we left and tried to contact the owner. She gave us the runaround for a few days and then stopped communicating completely. VRBO says they’re unable to help because I didn’t contact them while my family was inside the (infested) house. Now the listing says it can’t be booked due to a technical problem. It’s probably being bug bombed. So, don’t be like me. I should have known not to book a property with no recent reviews. Now I have to get an attorney involved. No more VRBO for us.

Family NOLA visit

Stayed with extended family members in the middle of the week before a cruise. Nice roomy home in quiet neighborhood not far from the French Quarter and very easy to get to. Rosemary was very responsive when asking for more information, and was helpful in getting settled in and made it easy for us to get on our way after the visit.

Nice property, Perfect location

This property is locat call ed in a perfect location, just a few miles from downtown, but far away from the craziness. The house is spacious. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't exactly the cleanest. There were quite a few dead bugs on the tile floor. I wouldn't go so far as to say the house wasn't clean, but I don't think anyones cleaned it in a while either. Also noticed a few millipedes crawling around at different times of our stay also. They might need to call an exterminator. Other than that, the house was great.

Nice place in good location

Great home with accommodations for good size groups. Just had a small family reunion in New Orleans, and this was home base. Had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Only took about 15 minutes to get downtown (depending on traffic), and is close to supermarkets and a few fast food joints.

Thank you Rose Mary every thing was perfect just like the pictures. I was so impressed the house was very spacious for 10 women very nice and clean down to the linen. She was the perfect host who answered every question I had and was very understanding of a situation before I arrived in New Orleans. I give her a 10 and would love to stay at this property again if I come back to New Orleans.

Enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive to our texts. Easy Uber/Lyft ride to Garden District for dinner. Not easy to find 4-BR properties in NO that are a bargain as this one was. Very quiet neighborhood.

Lovely home!

Rosemary was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating. The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to spread out. The property was a short lyft away from downtown and all the festivities, would definitely stay again!!

Nice house, quiet neighborhood just over the bridge from Bourbon and the downtown area, it was a 12 dollar drive with an Uber. Owner was very responsive and helpful when our flight was delayed.

B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L HOME

This home was Beautiful and very roomy for the 7 of us. Tub in the Master bath is a Jacuzzi tub :-). There is a gas station & Waffle House about a 1/4 mile & Family Dollar about 1/2 mile very easy walking to both, nothing else close. There is a City bus stop by Family Dollar (we used Uber) You cannot go wrong if you rent this home everything you could possibly need.

The property was the perfect location for our trip! It was about a $7 Uber ride into the city and it was so nice to be able to come back to such a warm and spacious home. Rosemary is an extremely responsive host and responded quickly if I had questions. There were plenty of supplies as well. Overall, I highly recommend!

Fantastic Home Convenient to Downtown But Away From The Hustle and Bustle

Traveled to New Orleans for the first time with some extended family over the New Year holiday. We had plenty of space for all of us to be able to spread out when we needed our space and space to get together to enjoy family time. It was nice to go see all of the tourist sites during the day and then to escape to this home, right over the bridge and super convenient, at the end of a long day. We had one minor issue with the A/C when we first arrived (which was not a big deal at all since the temp outside was in the 60's), but I let Rosemary know and she had a technician at the house to deal with the issue that day!!! Would certainly stay at Tall Timbers - Brechtel again and would recommend to anyone!!!
