Great place to stay!! Close to everything, great family atmosphere and beautiful home! We enjoyed exploring all the different beach’s that are close by and the beautiful pool on location to always come back to. I would highly recommend this place and host!!!

The host was incredibly helpful when we needed to find a place last minute. He ensured everything was ready for us with only a few hours notice. The home was lovely- clean, well decorated (but not a lot of breakables thank goodness - we have kids!) and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept, with roving security as well. The kids loved the neighborhood pools and ice cream shop there! We had a wonderful stay and wish to thank Kevin for letting us rent his beautiful home.

The house was very clean. The space was perfect for my family. It was nice that the owner had beach chairs, tent, beach carts and 2 bicycles in the garage available for us to use. Originally, from the owners pictures on VRBO, I thought the golf cart was included, but then read the fine print and there was an extra charge. I am thankful we decided to pay the extra amount because it made going back and forth to the beach an easier experience. Overall, the place was great and we had a wonderful time!

Kevin was very responsive to any questions that I had for the property. The listing is accurate and the house is very clean. It is a great location as it is a short distance from the beach by golf cart. I would recommend this listing.

We always recommend a Golf Cart for this community. Even though we are considered go front it makes getting to the sand so much easier with all the Beach gear. Thanks for the five star review and come back anytime.

Pet friendly and handicapped accessible (though not advertised as) for wide doors, low switches and raised toilets. Perfect for our family. The owner was a very good communicator and the property was clean. He worked with us to allow us early checkin as well. Overall, excellent property and certainly spacious. Would stay here again.

Everything was as advertised and dog-friendly. However, a golf cart is essential due to the extensive walking required, although they do provide bikes in the garage.

Agreed about the Golf Cart. It’s a nice feature. And our beach house is as close to the beach as any house in the community. I’m not sure how some of these houses even rent as a beach house as they’re not walkable. Please come back soon and thanks for the five star review.

Great beach trip

Wonderful small town vibes right next to the besch

Great place and Kevin was wonderful to work with. This house is a short drive from a quaint small town with all your needs. A quick walk to the beach was great. Beach was never more crowded than 5-10 families, even on Memorial Day weekend!

From the start Kevin was super communicative! Very easy check in. House was extremely clean and very modern! Honestly probably one of the nicest vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Very convenient location. Community pool was very close and not crowded at all. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and already planning our next trip!

Perfect location!

Beautiful home with lots of room! It has a great location, close to the path to the beach & steps from the pool. Be sure to purchase the golf cart if available, it came in handy on the trips to the main part of Windmark for dinner each night!

AWESOME BEACH HOUSE

WE LOVED STAYING AT THE SAND BAR. THE HOUSE AND FURNISHINGS WERE BEACHY THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE HOUSE WAS CLOSE TO BEACH AND RESTAURANTS. LOVED THE AREA AND THE HOUSE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN

Absolutely loved our stay!

The house was wonderful! It was beautifully decorated and spacious and clean. It was stocked for cooking and had everything we could have possibly needed. The host was very responsive to all my questions prior to the trip and even took care of our golf cart rental, which was a must! I would recommend the Heron House to anyone, and we hope to return next year!

Great house for a vacay

We love staying at Windmark beach and have been coming here for years. This was our first stay at Heron House. Plenty of space with a nice yard for the dogs. Equipped with beach chairs so we didn’t have to bring anything along. Both pools are open with views of the beach. Lovely neighborhood for walking. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend.

We currently live in the North Metro Atlanta area where we raise our 3 kids. We love the Gulf coast and travel to the Florida white sand beaches frequently. We fish, golf, travel and enjoy life!

We bought this cottage for our vacation home while living in the Atlanta area. We couldn't get enough of this peaceful, friendly place, so we bought this gulf view home. We have a home in metro Atlanta and have decided to share this cottage with others who have fallen in love with the Gulf and the white sand beaches!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We love to walk our dog on the beach, watch our kids swim and play in the sand, ride bikes along the coast, campfires on the beach at night and take the boat out to catch some fish. If we don't feel like cooking, we head to Killer Seafood for nationally-recognized Killer Fish Tacos or a bread bowl full of fresh, local seafood and Award-winning Killer Seafood Sauce. Yum! Or, a trip to Provisions in Port Saint Joe- just a short drive up the coast to the east. Incredible food!
