This comfortable and spacious condo at Maui Sunset is the best way to enjoy the 5.5 acres of award winning, immaculately maintained, ocean front grounds. Enjoy the BBQ grills, 60 foot tile swimming pool, hot tub, activities desk, putting green, shuffle board, tennis courts, and workout room. Steps to the ocean and very family friendly. Enjoy complimentary parking and WiFi internet.

B215 is a two bedroom, two bathroom unit with ocean and pool views. This unit can easily accommodate a family of 6, with lots of room to spread out. There is A/C throughout, in living room, master and guest bedrooms. Flat screen TVs in living room and master bedroom, and washer/dryer in unit.

Maui Paradise

We are completely happy with this condo. I would recommend it to friends. The bedrooms were ok but the a/c in both were so very noisy! Other than that a great place for the family and so close to shopping, food trucks,great beaches!

Best place to stay for family

We had so much fun! The property was just as subscribed. Having beach chairs and boogie board available was amazing. Will be staying here again.

Great place to stay in Kihei

We enjoyed our stay. The closest beach is not swimmable but is pretty quiet if you just want to lounge. There seems to be alot of elderly people that stay here but our teenagers still had a good time. The condo was clean and it had beach gear (chairs, towels) which was really nice.

Great unit, ok location

The space was clean, mostly updated, and fairly well appointed. Appreciated the beach equipment and towels, plus helpful kitchen items like Ziploc bags, Tupperware, etc. The lanai is delightful, with a great view of the ocean and pool. The grounds are well kept. The primary bedroom is small/challenging to navigate with suitcases, and the bed is very worn (uncomfortable). The AC unit in the bedroom is loud - way too loud for sleeping - and the glass door in that bedroom (a foot from the bed) leads directly to the outdoor hallway, so it's not desirable to open that for airflow either. so nights were warm and we were tired. Overall a good stay, some changes would have made a big difference.

Great location right on the beach, walkable to a lot of places around Kihei. Everything went smooth and would definitely recommend it to others.

Perfect place to stay with family

We really enjoyed our stay. What could be better than looking out from your lanai to see beautiful grounds, pool & then the ocean. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great location, nice accommodations, reasonably priced

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The accommodations were very nice, well kept and clean. Comfortable and well appointed. Really liked the pool and the close access to the beach (right on the property). We also very much appreciated the beach towels and chairs, which we used for our trips to the beach. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property and unit

We only stayed for the weekend because we had a family event in Kahului. So while we didn’t take full advantage of the property amenities, the courtyard was beautiful and the unit itself was very nice and clean. We’ll be back in May, will check the Vrbo site if it will be available. Thanks!

Beautiful accommodations

This property was absolutely perfect for my family of 5. The condo was very neat and clean and provided exactly what we needed for a "Home away from home". The beach gear really came in handy!!We enjoyed the close proximity to the pool, beach and local restaraunts / stores that we would just walk to because the neighborhood was just so beautiful. The sunset every evening from the lanai was so perfect. Mahalo for sharing your home with us, we hope to return to again. Aloha!

Modern Kihei Condo

Unit was recently remodeled and very clean. Well appointed and comfortable. Included beach items such as chairs, umbrella, towels ect. was very nice. Common grounds, pool and BBQ was well kept. Parking lot could use some love.

Master Bedroom

The bed needs to go 😤we woke up every morning with a bad backache, next time we need a king just wasn’t big enough for a 6’5 man and me. You could hear the springs pop. The bathroom door in the shower room, it’s just in the way. I feel it could be taken down and it would be more comfortable. Other then no welcome coffee and lack of spices which every place were stayed at had. It was a very lovely place. We were asked to was towels before left, there was no bleach left in until and the cost here is ridiculous. The until is clean, and very nice just the bed and bathroom extra door in a small space and no welcome coffee. I was gonna leave behaving what i bought for until but i decided the house keeper takes it all and leaves nothing behind, so i will be giving it to a local friend. Thanks again

Cleanliness could have been better but overall a nice stay

This was mine and my husband’s 5th stay at the Maui Sunset (1st time in this unit). Pros: The Maui Sunset has beautiful grounds and pool area which is the main reason why we love it so much and continue coming back. This was our first trip with kids ages (5, 2 &1) and they also loved the pool, hot tub, shuffle board and running on the grass. It’s very family friendly and a great central location to a lot of the island activities and restaurants. The unit itself worked well for our family of 6, the kitchen is remodelled and has everything you need to prepare meals. The spare bedroom closet is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, toys, cooler and even a stroller. The unit is located very close to the pool which was an added bonus to be able to watch my older kids in the pool from the patio while my youngest slept. Cons: We only have one and that is the cleanliness of the unit. It is tidy and organized but we found it could really use a deep clean. If you walked around barefoot, your feet would be black with dirt. The bathrooms aren’t updated which is fine but they need something because they have a lot of grime and mildew in and around the shower and toilets. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, spatulas, tupperware etc but to be comfortable using them I had to really clean because they had leftover remnants from past use. It just gave an ick feeling. Overall, We enjoyed our time and it worked for our family. I would consider staying at this condo again.

Ant and cockroach problem - not worth the money

I read reviews often both good and bad to get a feel for the accuracy of the experience but rarely do I post myself. However given my experience at this place felt it was necessary: Ant problems in the kitchen. They were coming in from the joint between backsplash and counter. The moment we left fruit on the counter the ants were everywhere. Complained to Oceanfront and was told by Jordyn that the contract indicates pest are normal and no compensation. They set up Terra ant traps on counter, sink area, island etc. Suffice to say the family didn’t really feel like eating or being in that area. The bathroom shower area are showing their age: shower grime on glass doors, mold in the joints, dirt/grime on baseboards. Lastly, there was a cockroach found in the front entrance - not sure if it just came from the front door or indicative of the buildings overall sanitary conditions but it contributed to our negative experience. The pictures are accurate on a macro level but once you get in and look at the details, you see the condo for what it is; a unit that was renovated but showing its age in wear and tear. In the end it’s a question of managing expectations; i have no problems sleeping and eating with the ants if i’m going camping, but when i pay this type of rates i expected a better experience. In summary: Pros: physical size of condo (we fit 4 adults , 2 kids), amenities like towels, beach chairs, appliances), pool on premise. Cons: ants and cockroach, bathroom size and cleanliness, price.

There was good and there was bad

I'll start with the good. -Unit was very clean -Remodel is very appealing & relaxing -Great, nice size balcony, nice views -Very comfortable couch -Comfortable beds -Convenient to everything What I consider the Bad.. -Description for this rental stated that the Master Bedroom had a television. It did NOT. Only a monitor for watching DVD's. Management office confirmed it's not a television. I have horrible insomnia & have a routine... very disappointed & irritated over their error. -There were notices put up informing everyone that a scheduled "dethatching" of the grass would take place shortly after our arrival & would last either 3 or 4 days. Once it started we could no longer enjoy the balcony during the day. The noise was LOUD with a large crew operating mowers, 4 wheelers, etc. Had we been informed of this scheduled procedure I would NEVER have booked for those days. We should have been informed. Dethatching left the grounds brown & ugly, not the beautiful green at our arrival. The day after all the dethatching noise, a crew set-up a tent & began what looked like a plumbing repair/maintenance w/ generators & equipment running non-stop. Another day of no balcony. Another notice about fertilizing the grounds the following day & stay off the grass. Another day we couldn't sit outside or open the doors because the smell was VERY strong & awful. This isn't a matter of complaining it's the fact that 5 or 6 out of our 9 days were NOT peaceful ones. I'm somewhat disabled & stayed at the unit most of the time but felt like I was trapped inside. I rent a lot of VRBO properties & I've never experienced anything like this. To think I paid full price. -AC unit in MB bedroom is loud & would turn on/off constantly in both BR's. The only way to stop the constant on/off was to lower temp from 74 to 70. -No instructions for the LR TV despite 3/4 remotes. A Welcome booklet would be helpful. -3 pairs of brand new jeans were accidentally left in dresser because my adult daughter forgot to get the extra packing bag from the car & remembered while at airport. Sent email to mngmt. who said housekeeper didn't find anything. It was 100% fact the jeans were left. I asked her to be "re-asked" & still denied. Asked mngmt to ask current renters...which they didn't. Now they say they checked AFTER tenants left & (of course) didn't find them. This was handled poorly & without integrity. I LOVED the place but NOT the experience. And I'm a Travel Agent!

Super Appartement

Sauber und modern eingerichtet wie auf den Bildern. Man konnte nur über duschen meckern weil die silikonfugen und Fliesen nicht perfect waren. Seife Waschpulver usw fur 1 Woche fur 6 Personen ausreichend vorhanden. Wie mussten nichts nachkaufen. Anlage sehr gepflegt auch außen. Pool sehr tief. Strand soso. Wasser war nicht klar von den Wellen
