Nice unit, great management company

The Grand Champions is a lovely well established community. The unit was clean and supplied all we needed for basic kitchen supplies and beach supplies. Great location and pools are well maintained. Kristina was excellent to deal with!

One of the best properties we've stayed at at grand champions in Wialea. One of the best parts was the in ceiling air-conditioning, rather than the window units, which were loud and often and efficient. Great views of the golf course, rental communication was exquisite, and we already are looking to book for longer next year.11 out of 10, highly recommend. Just don't book up my weeks, because I found them first!

Ideal for our family of 4

Rental agent Kristina answered questions promptly before and during visit. Unit was very clean upon arrival. Great base for exploring the island and within walking distance of a scenic, paved coastal trail, mall and restaurants. Pool areas were well maintained and we were able to use the grill thanks to the well-supplied kitchen with right tools. Safe/well lit complex and area for our teens to go out exploring by themselves. Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and coolers (with ice packs in freezer) too. Really appreciated all those details. Shower water pressure was great (unlike some hotels we’ve stayed at).

Excellent place to stay in Wailea

The location is perfect. Near beaches, restaurants and shopping. All within walking distance. Condo is very clean and well kept. Everything you need to have a great vacation is here. Exceptional view of the ocean on one side and the golf course on the other side. This is our fourth time staying here. The property owner is constantly making improvements. And Kristina from Aloha Vacations Maui was the perfect property manager. She answered all our questions promptly and efficiently.

Fantastic condo and location!

Although we are not golfers, we chose this condo mainly for the great spot it's in. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the shops at Wailea where you can marvel at the high end stores, go to the ABC stores for snacks, or indulge in all of the offerings of the Island Market Growers. That store was incredible and had everything you could think of ;-) Kristina, our host, was so lovely to work with! She has great knowledge of the island so you can get recommendations for all of the things you might want to do. She's super responsive and it was such a pleasure to book our stay with her. She made everything super easy for us. We've stayed at a lot of places over the past 30+ years on the islands - some that were not so great, one that was so awful we didn't make it 24 hours, and some that were just fabulous. You won't be disappointed if you stay at this unit. It had all the comforts of home. The air conditioning was fantastic, which might not always be necessary, but for this time of year it made a big difference, in my opinion. I don't recall staying in many units where there was air conditioning in both bedrooms plus the main living space. A total bonus-- especially if you're always warm. You will not be disappointed staying here. Whether you're a couple who likes to have some extra space, or you've got a family-- everyone will be comfortable, and there's plenty to keep you occupied - plus the pools are great to hang out at if you're not looking to go out and do a whole bunch of activities. We could not have been happier with the decision to book Unit 100. Thanks so much, Kristina!!

Excellent Grand Champions Condo

We have stayed in several Wailea Grand Champions condos over the years and this may be the best yet. This is a second floor unit, so no one banging around over your head, with a designated parking spot immediately out front. The standout difference was the mini-split multi-zone A/C in the two bedrooms and living area: it was extremely quiet and effective, especially compared to the usual wall/window units found in most rentals. Very, very good. The furnishings were clean and contemporary, the appliances, including a stacked washer/dryer, were in good working order, and the master bed was comfortable. The only areas for improvement were that the hot water took a while in the master bath, the twin beds in the guest room were a little on the firm side, and the TVs took some figuring out, not that you will spend a lot of time watching TV. Grand Champions is in Wailea, which is less frenetic than Kihei. It's a 10-15 minute walk or a couple of minutes to drive to The Shops at Wailea, which is fantastic for morning coffee or evening shopping, ice cream, and a few restaurants. There is a store there called Island Gourmet Markets with a wide selection of hot and cold chef-prepped food, good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or road trips, plus gelato from Paia Gelato and other essentials (sunscreen, snacks, drinks). From the condo you can reach the Wailea Beach Path by walking, paying to park/valet at one of the resorts, or finding public beach parking. The paved path runs along the ocean and beaches in front of the resorts and is an amazing place for a run or stroll. The Wailea beaches are exactly what you would expect from a classic resort area on Maui: beautiful. Overall, a wonderful condo in a great complex!
