Come relax or play at the Camellia House! Conveniently located in the middle of Niceville and across the road from the bay, the house is nestled in a roundabout under moss covered trees. Camellia House is about a 10 miles to the Destin Beaches and shopping. Camellia house has been freshly painted and new furnishing. Camellia's Master King Bedroom has a full ensuite. She has a King bedroom with Roku TV and a Full Bedroom. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen is stocked and ready for cooking. Enjoy the porch with a view of the bay.

Camilla house

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rental in Niceville! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — close to everything, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The host was fantastic, providing clear communication and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. One thing to note: you will need to bring your own beach chairs and umbrella, as these are not provided. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place in the area!

Florida Getaway

Rented for a family get together at another location. The house was much nicer than the pictures even showed. It was very roomy and welcoming. I was extremely pleased with everything and if needed will use again. The family we were visiting are going to recommend to other visitors as well.

Just like home - well stocked and beautiful!

Jessica's property is the best vacation rental I've stayed in by far. It is stocked with all the comforts of home (not just the bare necessities)! I loved having a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans/cooking utensils/etc that I would use at home. Jessica obviously put a lot of effort into making the place as comfortable as possible. The Wharf Restaurant right across the street and the breakfast place up the road are perfect for when you don't want to drive anywhere for food. It was relatively quiet (not a peep from our neighbors), but occasionally you would overhear the music from the Wharf from the main bedroom which has windows facing that direction. Jessica was very responsive to all our needs. The air conditioning unit broke during our stay and Jessica had someone over to fix it and get it running again almost immediately! I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks!

Convenient and beautiful

I rented this cottage for family members, in town for graduation, because of it's close proximity to me. It is quite lovely and much larger than the pics suggest. My folks had an issue with the air conditioning, I contacted the property manager, she responded quickly & it was fixed immediately. Perhaps blackout shades for the master suite as The Wharf lights are rather bright and are lit all night. I highly recommend renting this beautiful cottage. You will not be disappointed.

Not a good fit for my family

The property is not really well maintained and needs a deep cleaning, new linens, and to remove the old, stained carpet. Unfortunately, the deck was power washed after our stay and was covered with mildew and unusable. It's got great potential with a little investment and TLC.

Convenient Location

This was the second time I've stayed at this location and will be back again next year. Management made some furnishing upgrades since last visit and the restaurant across the street was back open (The Wharf). Ample and secure parking, convenient to shops, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend for those not interested in the traffic and crouds of Destin.

Disappointed

The house was fine but the master bedroom bed was worn out and uncomfortable. Also there was a leak in the hallway bath which was an imposition as I ended up using the smaller bedroom with a firmer bed next to the leaky bathroom floor. The experience was disappointing.

Lacking Attention to Details

The property was kind of clean but for the required cleaning fee, it was not nearly clean enough. It was kind of fully equipped but had worn and dated bedding, electronics and appliances. It was also kind of overrated by previous reviewers who somehow gave it 5-stars. I counted 11 burned out light bulbs, 3 missing TV remotes, missing batteries in the TV remote that was there, a malfunctioning cable box, 2 smoke detectors taken down and not functioning, a front door that does not latch and a non-functioning vertical blind over the sliding glass door leading to the deck. These are easily fixed details that have been neglected for what appears to be a long time. When you add it all up, it is a realistic 3-star property worth renting if it’s location within Niceville is what you need most. Although we don’t want to hurt their business, we value honest VRBO ratings a lot. This is our eighth property rental over the last 12 months so we think we have a realistic view of how this property should rate; most have been 5-stars but this one is not. If they would begin paying attention to details, we could recommend renting here.

Quaint and Comfortable
