This property was so cool!! Gorgeous antiques everywhere, and cool artifacts from American history. The beds were so comfy. Lots of space. We didn't get to utilize the game room other than to sleep, but it was awesome! We sat in the hot tub and watched a movie! We were in town for a wedding, but wished we were only there for a vacation. This property was just so charming! The remnants of the church added so much to the charm. Great host! With a last minute email he let me bring our dogs. If I ever go back to the area I will definitely be staying here again.

This house was perfect! So fun and unique , had everything we needed for fun nights in and great location for skiing walking to coffee shop or distillery . Absolutely would stay here again

Loved the charm of the vintage feel yet had all the moderne amenities. It was one of the best Thanksgiving Holidays yet for our family and look forward to staying here again.

Our 3 generation family thoroughly enjoyed our ski weekend and enjoyed our stay here. The "house" is spacious and unique and filled with antiques plus it is a convenient drive to Belleayre Ski Center. The kids enjoyed playing upstairs and most of the adults hung out in the kitchen during the evenings. The beds were comfortable and we were able to maintain the heat in a comfortable range for us (upper 60s).

Wonderful and Unique Getaway

We were looking for a change of scenery for a family holiday getaway and the McBride house definitely helped us achieve that. Our host was very accommodating and extremely responsive, and we had a fantastic weekend!

Amazing Weekend

Amazing weekend with everything we could ask for. The building was warm when we got there and everything was cozy. We definitely will be staying again.

A Special Place

This "Home" is quite unique, indoor hot tub which the kids loved, as well as the game room upstairs which all enjoyed. A well stocked kitchen and ample bedding for 10 made our weekend Family Reunion stay fantastic. We will look forward to renting again for the next one. Communication from the owner was great!

If you like historic buildings, this is a great place. Fascinating layout and property is full of history. Game room is a great twist and Bill is a wonderful host. We stayed for a wedding at nearby Spillian venue and it worked great

Great place to stay in the Catskills

My group had a great experience staying in this house. The house was very roomy and decorated nicely. We ended up using the game room whenever we had down time back at the house. Communication with the owner was also very pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful and unique!

We had a lovely time. The location to several very good restaurants and to skiing as perfect. The game room and hot tub kept the kids busy for hours and off of their electronics. Bill is a great host, we highly recommen, and plan to return!!

Great stay in an interesting home

William was an excellent host there to help out in anyway and ensuring we had everything we need. The home is such an interesting place and has is much to do in the game room and to see in all of the antiques spread through out the house. The kids especially enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Amazing to stay in an old church from the 1800s we had so much fun!

Heavenly Getaway

This place is amazing. Great for adults and children. The game room (the loft) was great entertainment for everyone. Great location. The host was very helpful when I had a problem with the pellet stove, my own doing. Great host, very helpful.

Enjoyable stay in Arkville

Very cool building in a quaint town. Host was awesome and helpful with great "things to do" suggestions and accomodating. Amazing rental for a young family/group. Spiral stairs a challenge for seniors and a broad shouldered guy. Neat if you want the place to tell a story!

Great Pandemic Destination

What a great pandemic destination! Our family of 4 had a great week in Arkville. The house is so interesting and we were never bored with the game room, hot tub and all the nature available to us. The owner was very attentive and sent several good activity suggestions. Overall, the scene of a great getaway!

Adult getaway

Property is unique and quaint. With themed rooms throughout, we always had something different to do or try. And as a bonus, bill offered a covered porch to keep Motorcycles dry! Had a great time.
