Secluded hot tub.....Our N. Georgia mountain cabin is as picturesque as you can get. Songbird Creek Cabin is easily accessible, though tucked away in a thick forest and is our escape from S. Florida. It is like living in your own state park, with lots of huge trees, 2 fire pits, a hot tub and private nature trail. The creek side fire pit area is our dream come true. One master bedroom and bath are on the first floor. A second master bedroom and bath are on the lower level. A loft with its own private bathroom and 2 twin beds is great fun. Walking distance to Hightower Creek Winery. Escape the heat or the city and experience our magical getaway!

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

Great place to unwind. The hot tub was a favorite in the cold winter nights. Hiawasee, Blairsville, and Clayton are just short drives away.

Songbird Creek Cabin

This property is clean and well maintained. The decor is beautiful and the cabin is well supplied. It has a screened porch as well as a wrap a around deck and a hot tub. There is a path to walk down to the creek. It has a burn pit for a fire with benches as well as a swing

Relaxing Getaway

A Special Place

If you are looking for a special place to just unwind and slow down this is it. This cabin is so cute! Very nicely decorated and homey. It’s located in a nice quiet little community of cabins.

Charming and peaceful cabin

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very peaceful. The kitchen was (to me) surprisingly well appointed. Love the added pantry that guests can leave behind extra pantry staples.

Wonderful Property!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing get-away. The cabin was beautiful. The entire process was so well defined and easy to follow. The house was beautiful and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

Lots of room, comfortable, with a beautiful setting in the woods, easy to find.

The cabin was charming. Plenty of room, the beds were clean and comfortable. The directions were easy to follow and place was easy to find, centrally located so it was close to Helen and Ruby falls and many other sights. Only complaint was the gas tank for outside fire pit was empty, and no wood for fireplace, other than that it was very nice.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful house and beautiful views from the porches. Everything was a described and we hated having to leave. There is also a trail leading down to a creek that was a nice walk. We will rent this property again.

A little song in my heart.

~This little place was clean, cozy, welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The owners addressed my concerns, and even was gonna help me get the GA game on!! Coffee on the porch in the morning with a fire was awesome. Listening to nature, sure hear lots of birds…. I’ll say this place, and the owners left a little song in my heart. I will be back. Thanks so much!

Very private and quiet but close to town.

This little cottage was perfect. It rained several times but was very cool. We loved having coffee on the screened porch in the mornings if it was raining and on the deck if it wasn't, enjoyed watching the Mama and Daddy bird feed babies in the hanging flower holder on the wall of the deck. Unfortunately for me, the creek access was too difficult for me (I walk with a cane) but my husband and nephew enjoyed it.

A Cozy Getaway That Feels Like Home

This cabin trip was so good for me. As a resident of the Nashville, TN area, I wanted to get away from it all, go to the middle of the woods, and leave the busy city life behind for a couple of days. This cabin was perfect. Unlike the most recent cabins I had stayed in, I don't think I saw a single bear decoration! It felt like home away from home. It is a shame that I was unable to take full advantage of the cabin space as I traveled alone but those traveling with children and other family will be pleased with the roomy sleeping areas and large deck to spread out and enjoy the scenery. The best part - THE HOT TUB. The hot tub at this cabin is awesome. The cover is attached, unlike the flimsy covers you usually see, and the arm levers make accessing the tub easy. I truly enjoyed my stay and recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Too Short

First, I regret not staying longer. We usually book a cabin for Fall and again in Spring with the occasional Winter booking. We had been staying in the Helen area but we live about an hour away from both Helen and Hiawassee. When we saw this cabin we decided to give Hiawassee a go. I knew Hiawassee from guiding on the AT so it wasn't unknown to me. The cabin and its location exceeded expectations. We loved the compact layout and the grounds. The fact that people had left things was excellent, other cabins typically expect you to take everything, so there usually are no leftovers. We really enjoyed the nearby winery and brewery as well as Brasstown Bald. Our one and only complaint, which is to be taken lightly, was the gentleman that blows the leaves. It would have been appreciated if he had begun his work a bit later than 9am. However, perhaps he has many houses to do and thus begins so early. Otherwise everything was flawless. We will be saving this cabin for future use. Thanks!

We have been renting our other cabin In Hiawassee for years and love sharing our dreams with our guests. There is everything we love to do here: wineries, hiking, boating, tubing, whitewater rafting, antiquing, BBQ, fire pits, hot tub, horseback riding, waterfalls, and so much more. You will be amazed!

The house sits half-way up the hillside that makes the cabin feel like a treehouse. Its amazing features include the romantic wood burning fireplace, a wood burning creek side fire pit, a gas fire pit on the over-sized deck, a bubbling new lounging style hot tub, and a private switchback style nature trail that winds down to the babbling creek. Songbird Creek Cabin is an oasis from city life. Come sit and rock on the porch while enjoying the sightings of deer grazing in the surrounding forest. Visit and you'll want to stay.

You will love this place!
