We didn't spend a lot of time at the house but it was great when we were there. Close to the state farmer's market and a short drive to USC. I wish we could have utilized the outdoor space if we had time.

Our stay in this home was perfect. Host was easy to communicate with. It was clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Location was great too, 5 minutes to grocery and our daughter, who we went to visit, the main reason we were there! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed for 3 days and it was a wonderful experience.. First thing was the home was beautiful and very welcoming and comfortable. The master bath has a garden tub, which I definitely used, loved it.. Doran was quick with responses. Not to far from stores at all. We definitely want to stay again and soon

Dated property but very clean and comfortable. Big fenced in yard if needed .Beds were very comfortable . Location was rural but was fine for our trips into Columbia.

Cozy and very clean! It was a perfect place to stay for my son’s basic training graduation at Fort Jackson. It was around 20-25 minutes drive to base and easy to maneuver. The house itself is older, but well kept and very clean. It was comfortable for my older parents and my two year old granddaughter. The fenced back yard is a wonderful feature. The only thing I’d note is that the light that comes into the front bedroom at night is bright! A blind in the window would be a wonderful addition. Thank you Doran for being so responsive and making check in so easy! Your house is a gem. J. Marck

It's in need of some upgrades but it's clean, everything works, great hot water and very comfortable. Check in is a breeze and the kitchen is only missing a kettle (wife is British). Good place for the money and I would stay here again.

Home away from home

3 bedroom 2 bath small house that was perfect for our needs. We were only 12 miles from family we were there to visit. 100% better than getting a motel room.

Perfect for our weekend stay!

We needed a place for five of us to stay for a family wedding in Columbia. The house was perfect, very nice accommodations at a reasonable price. Owner was very responsive to our questions prior to arrival and the house was just as promised. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Perfect for what we needed

House was perfect for the purpose of our visit - college tours. It was a little farther out than we anticipated, but that’s my own fault for not researching more. The house itself was great!

This guy offers 25 refunds for 5 star reviews after your stay... That alone makes me not want to give him a 5 star. Take a step back into the era where you visited grandma. All the old chairs, smells, and bedding from late 1980's fill this home and give back childhood memories. It was clean, decent beds, and very livable. But absolutely no modern era amenities. The TV was about 25". Internet is GREAT for working on laptops. You are allowed ONE trash bag for a week and there's no secure place outside to store the trash (he suggested we take it to the dump a couple cities over if we had more trash).The road the house is on is to the local mining company pit and semi dump trucks will go up and down the road at 50 mph from 8 am to 8 pm daily! The house was clean and comfy, I would stay there again if I had too. But we visted Gaston again last week and got an amazing little cabin for a lower cost, better amenities, and much friendlier rules. After you pay, this guy will send you an 8 page list of rules and threats about dog hair, feet on furniture, and all kinds of stuff. I should have canceled after his insane threats of talk about paying his kids medical bills from a dog hair encounter. Who in their right mind would allow pats (for a fee) if their kid was deathly allergic? Instead, we just asked for the dog rent refund and left our dog at home with the dog sitter. This guy's rules and oddities are just a bit overboard for such on old furnished house.

Great stay, ad described

The property was clean and as described. Plenty of space, linens, kitchen supplies. Check in process was easy and host was quick to respond after reservation was up until check in. No issues at all.

Great stay for our USC visit

This home was just as advertised and just what we needed while visiting for parents weekend. About a 25 min straight shot drive from school. Had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Short stay

The House matched the photos. Quiet neighborhood, easy to find. We were only there to shower and sleep so the price was great for what we needed.

Home Away from Home

Great place to stay. Our family enjoyed the home. Nice and clean and close to shopping. We were there because our son graduated from Ft. Jackson and when we travel, I am always looking for a home away from home and we found it here. We will stay again if we're ever in Columbia again.

Nice quite area. House very clean and everything we needed was there.

More than happy with our over all experience. Nice they had everything we needed. Also very close to grocery store. When I go back to visit family I would be more than happy to stay again.
