Dad's Legasea is an OCEANFRONT 4 Bedroom home with a loft. This FANTASTIC house has everything your family needs - well equipped kitchen, outdoor hot/cold shower, super TV, wifi, ice maker, coffee pot maker, and much more! Located on Springs Ave, this home offers direct Oceanfront views and access to the creek which makes it one of the best possible choices for any family looking to fish, float the creek and relax.

The loft, great for older children, welcomes the early morning sun off of the ocean and features two twin beds. Downstairs, the four additional bedrooms feature three queen beds and two twin beds. All three queen bedrooms have en-suite vanity with mirror and sink. The home features two bathrooms on the main floor and a half bath under the house with a full size washer and dryer.

Maximum Occupancy: 10
No Smoking. Pets allowed with approval.
Bed & bath linens included.
Saturday to Saturday ONLY rental during the summer months. Nightly and monthly rental available in shoulder season.
Please be aware of all golf cart regulations while renting on the Island.

Charming Oceanfront Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Dad's Legasea Oceanfront Home at the South End of Pawleys Island. The house is older and fully of charm that fully matches the description and images shown in the listing. The location is amazing, steps away from the ocean and the waterway with its own dock. The property was clean and check-in and check-out were extremely easy and management was helpful and friendly. My only note is to bring your own pillow if you need more than 1-2, and the beds were a little firmer than we're used to. You are tucked away on the far South side of the island, so don't expect to get off and on in a hurry-allow yourself plenty of time for bikers and walkers. We were surprised by how many cars came flying through with kids and pets walking around close to the road. We loved the house and can't wait til our next trip to Pawleys!

The property is so comfortable and the location is unbeatable. The house was built in 1953 and is solid as a rock. It’s a true Pawleys experience.

Reviewer Comments: I love Pawleys Island and have booked off season rentals with them for the past four years with Tide Life. I have health issues related to mobility that make it difficult to load and unload luggage and groceries up and down the stairs. Up til this year, Tide Life had secured me a very nice place to enjoy my overall stays. I was very disappointed that I was not notified of the lift being unavailable this previous stay. Other than that, WOW !! What a beautiful experience it was !!

Wonderful beach house!

We enjoyed staying at Dad’s Legasea. It was a spacious and comfortable accommodation for our family. So grateful for the opportunity to be able to stay here and watch the sun rise over the ocean and see the dolphins and sea birds from the porch! Thank you for making it available to rent.

Paradise at Pawleys

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dad’s LegO’Sea was great . There were multiple improvements ( new ice machine, new refrigerator, 2new chairs and new blinds). The elevator makes things so much better when arriving and leaving. Having bed linens (beds made) and towels makes things easier. Being on the ocean and creek is plus also. Good times at this house for 43 years.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Relaxing but maintenance was needed. Hot and cold water lines were switched on the washer. Ruined a cotton dress I washed. It shrank. Palmetto bugs were bad outside and we found three inside. But the price was most concerning. This property was $150 more per night than one right next door that was three times the size of our place. Price matters!I will be looking to rent from Lachicotte as we can have thee times the room and save $1000 for the week.

When they say....

( took pics and video if wanted )That's my only complaint. The management was super speedy in helping with the tv remote problems. I promised them a 5 star review on this part. Promise kept.

Can't Beat That View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had such a glorious time staying at Dad's Legasea, we have already booked our return next year. The kitchen and living areas are wonderfully spacious, so that we could nightly cook and host our cousins who were staying two houses over - seating up to 14 people! The bedrooms each have a sink, which is a great throwback and also practical. The views both at sunrise and sunset are simply unbeatable. Stargazing from the porch hammock is not to be missed. The home is well worn, so if you're looking for modern and sleek, this wouldn't be your choice - but it is so classic and comfortable, it feels like home. Overall, Wonderful experience.
