This is an ideal location if you want to explore the area around Helen without staying in Helen. Carmen has blended historic style with modern technology to make an enjoyable apartment to stay in.

Wonderful property. Carmen left fresh eggs and wonderful homemade muffins for us and really made it feel like home during our stay. She thought of everything when it came to amenities such a hair dryer, steamer, iron, even toothbrushes in case we forgot ours. Also love that it was dog friendly.

Extremely nice rental and the oversoul kitchen restaraunt across the street made the best steak my wife and I have ever eaten in our lives.

This has been my favorite place to stay so far. It will definitely be added to the list of favorites to stay at again. Carmen is an excellent host. Above and beyond expectations. Fresh chicken eggs in the fridge for her guests. The house was SPOTLESS! I can not complain about anything with this property. Check in went smoothly. We arrived around 9:30pm, check in is at 3pm. She sent us instructions to the letter and we were able to have access! Oh, and all the goodies she leaves for her guests. My favorite, blueberry pecan coffee cake! Breakfast casserole and all the other treats. Right down to the wet wipes in the bathroom. Everything is thought of that you may need. We WILL be back soon! Thank you Carmen for being and excellent host!

Great Stay

Wonderful place to stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host went to great lengths to keep the original feel and look of the home, circa 1904. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a great place to unwind.
