Enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia mountains while taking in the charm of Helen without breaking your budget.
Our Bear Paw Cottage is reminiscent of the motor court of the past and offers level parking, which makes this cottage great for motorcycle enthusiasts or people who want to avoid a cabin with a lot of stairs.
With a king sized bed and a sleeping loft with a double sized mattress, our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and two small children.
Enjoy relaxing on your private swing on the cozy covered front porch listening to the birds serenade you in the peaceful outdoors.
Visit one of our many great restaurants in town or cook a delicious meal in your cabin's well equipped kitchenette!
We also offer a common area with gazebo covered picnic tables and charcoal grills so that you may enjoy more of the beauty of our mountains.
Roast marshmallows or have a sing-along by the large Firepit area or just relax and star gaze!
Free firewood provided for firepit....DO NOT USE INDOORS!

Cute cottage close to Helen. Quick drive to local hiking places.Cottage was clean and had all we needed for a weekend getaway. Loved that we could bring our dog too!

We really enjoyed our short stay. Everything was as described, only thing would have been nice to have a hair dryer. Other than that we loved it. Thank you very much and should make that way again in the future we will be contacting you.

Very nice property. Small clean cabins (larger ones available), close to Helen, GA. Pet friendly. Quiet area. Easy to get into town and back. On the edge of a very nice state park. Owners we're very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, We will book there anytime we return to the area.

For my family and I, the facilities had everything required to make our stay comfortable, we wanted a cabin experience and it was spot on. The location was also perfect to enjoy activities available within the city of Helen. We had an overall great time.

The host was great, communicative and proactive throughout the entire stay. We were thoroughly impressed with the accommodations and the attention to detail for a cabin. It had everything we needed, and it provided a great memory of our trip to the area.

We were very pleased with the accommodations of the little cabin. It was very clean and had plenty of what ever we needed. We had plenty of room for our 2 dogs with their kennels, also. It also has a nice location in regards to Helen. I will definitely be calling them back when we visit Helen again!

It was an awesome quick get away for us. Being pet friendly was a must and my dog and I enjoyed the hikes in the woods up the trails. We enjoyed it and Penny was a big help when needed!!

Room is very dusty and smells musty. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Room stocked with cooking supplies. Unable to enjoy the porch from all the spider webs. Area is very private and close to Helen.

Wow. Very surprised to hear this as we thoroughly clean after every stay including checking for cobwebs. Inside and out. We are sorry that you had an issue and wished you had notified us while you were here so we could taken care of it for you. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit in spite of the issues. There is a dehumidifier in each cabin to keep the air fresh but it needs to be kept on to work properly. 😊

Great stay again. This has been our choice multiple times when coming to Helen, always in cabin 3. Our first stay was in 2001. We’ve been several times with the kids and extended family renting the other cabins. And now 25 years later, here again. It’s small, but perfect for what we need. We spend most of our time in the town or out exploring. It’s always nice to come back here and relax. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Cute and quiet little cabin. Spoke with Penny over the phone, and she was very nice and helpful. I wish we had more time there to enjoy the fire pit they have set up for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

Cute and quiet area however, the room was very dusty, musty smelling & there was black mold in the ac, bathroom, & some other areas. There was animal hair all in the bed and all over the floors. Cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom was not clean at all. All around dirty.

The cabin is small but very cute. At first I was worried as the cabins were closer to the main road than expected but the is no much traffic and it did not really matter. The first night we cooked in the BBQ in the back and it was fun. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is minimal for us (we like to cook) but we were able to make some nice meals too. We would stay there again.
