We absolutely loved staying in this cottage. Wonderful location out of the hustle and bustle but close enough. The convenience of the little stores close by for coffee in the morning was great. We walked to dinner to Ultramar and had a fabulous meal. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location - beautiful property!

Loved our stay in Cape Porpoise. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed riding all around the area. The property is absolutely beautiful and one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed in. Plenty of space for our family of 3 and a friend that stopped by to visit. Definitely pay a visit to the Musette across the street!

We have rented many vacation homes around the world, this was the best house we’ve ever rented. Kitchen was phenomenal, same for the family room & bedrooms. Gorgeous both inside and out, walkable to local markets, and close to the water. Jamie is an amazing property manager, very responsive and super nice to boot!

Beautiful Cottage

We love the Captain’s Cottage! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, very clean, wonderful amenities, and perfect location! We love staying in Cape Porpoise and enjoy sitting out in the lovely landscaped yard. Great location as you can walk across the street to Mussette, Cape Porpoise Kitchen and the local grocery store, Bradbury Brothers. Perfection!

Comfortable and convenient

This extremely relaxed house is wonderfully located — restaurant across the street, market around the corner, library across the corner — and quiet. We liked walking around the cape of Porpoise and enjoying the tranquility of small time life. The house is well equipped and cared for by the owners. The bathrooms are roomy and functional and kitchen is well stocked. I was able to cook several meals with ease.
