Come relax in our large comfy, cozy studio apartment!We are ready to host short term, mid-term, and long term rental guests. Digital nomads, nurses and healthcare professionals welcome!
This 800 sq feet upstairs apartment of a duplex features a small full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table for 2, 1 full bathroom with large step-in shower, a large bedroom area with a medium firm queen bed, a couch/sofa bed, and High speed internet and a Smart TV. Washer/dryer available. Premium bedding, linens, and towels. There is a staircase with 17 steps leading up to the apartment. There is a large back yard with a nice patio area with seating, gas grill and private parking in the back and free on street parking in the front.
Because of our close proximity to Louisville’s vibrant nightlife, the eclectic dining scene & shopping it’s no wonder visitors flock here to get a taste of something amazing! Walk to the hottest music and entertainment venue- Old Forester Paristown Hall! Don’t forget about Ky Derby and all the Bourbon Distilleries! We are the Napa Valley of Bourbon!!!
Quick cab ride or car sharing service to and from the Airport ( 5.9 miles), to Churchill Downs (4.8 miles), KY Expo Center (4.7 miles), KY International Convention Center (2.4 miles), KFC Yum Center (2.5 miles), University of Louisville (3 miles) and to Downtown Louisville (2 miles).

Louisville cozy apartment/double.

Quiet street, easy parking, clean place, with all the necessary amenities. Outdoor space was very nice. Walking distance to several bars, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place in a great location

The setting was fantastic and the location couldn't be better. Right around the corner from downtown and even closer to the baseball park and soccer stadium. Would love to stay again when we come to visit.

Great getaway

Enjoyed our stay. Great location, very clean and roomy place for 2-3 people. Easy check in and check out. No issues at all. The dive bar down the street, Seidenfaden’s, was awesome! Friendly people and great drinks. Will definitely be back again!

Beautiful studio

The apartment is cozy and beautiful and also functional. We enjoyed the picturesque neighborhood, its coffee shops and restaurants. Downtown Louisville is very close; a few minutes by car.

Great stay!

Nice neighborhood with a great dive bar! Comfy bed. Looks just like the pictures. Had the pleasure of meeting Ken on the way out. Nice guy with lots of Louisville information! Plenty of space for comfort. Recommend!

Great place for some R&R

We drove and had an event to attend at the Yum Center and Galt House hotel. It was about a 10 minute drive and parking downtown isn’t too expensive. A couple nice places to check out in the neighborhood. Recommend checking the VRBO app WHEN YOU ARRIVE for your checkin information. The information we received by email a few days before arriving to open the key box was not the same as the information that ended up opening the box. That was the only little glitch in our stay. We were comfortable there and would stay there again if back in town.

Weekend getaway

The property was wonderful! It was cute, clean and in a great location. Check in and out was easy. It was quiet, comfortable and everything we need for a weekend getaway. Will stay here again next time in Louisville!

Comfy beds and close to the Louisville Slugger Museum

We are here with my 15 year old for the National Archery competition. It was peaceful and restful. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We went to the museum before the competition. Karen and Ken are quietly available. The space was just as pictured. Even larger than I initially thought.

Great short stay

This was a great place to stay for my short trip to the area. The check-in process was really easy and the property was really clean. The bed and other furnishings were are all really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Bourbon Trail Weekend

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to the bourbon trail! Walkable to nearby restaurants and bars in the evening. Property was extremely clean and just as described. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Apartment in Louisville

This was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for a soccer tournament. The property was clean and well stocked for our stay. Cool historic neighborhood close to downtown with several restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Louisville Getaway

Karen's rentals are top notch. The entire process was effortless and the listing is just as described. There are 4 huge windows that make it very bright and beautiful; however, with me being a night shift nurse where I sleep all day, she has made it possible with these windows to also make the day light seem like night. (Which I greatly appreciated) The shower is huge and perfect. The temperature I never changed, so whatever she had it ok, IT was perfect. I did not cook anything, but everything was there if I needed to. The bed is amazing and very comfortable. The neighborhood was safe. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot with wonderful amenities

My daughter and I stayed here three nights when we came into town to visit. The studio was perfect. Super clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of linens and pillows. The kitchen is very well stocked to cook basic meals. The stairs are long and a little steep but not a problem for us. The backyard area was a lovely space to relax. We would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I have lived in this neighborhood since 1997. I was born in Louisville and my husband grew up in California. I am a retired nurse now realtor and my husband is a general contractor and has been doing home renovations since 2007.
We both graduated from the University of Louisville. We started our home sharing adventure in May of 2017 and have absolutely loved meeting people from all over the country. We would love to host people from other countries too. Everyone we have met has been so considerate and come visit for a variety of reasons from KY Derby to sporting events to just wanting to meet up with old friends. Let us know why you are coming to visit and we will try to accommodate and enhance your stay.

All of the best local restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance. We are close to Bardstown Rd, Downtown, Ky Expo Center, University of Louisville and Churchill Downs and the new Old Forester Paristown Hall.
