• Large Master with King bed, 70” TV, table and seating area.
• Large Queen bedroom with desk and comfy chair for relaxing.
• Third bedroom has two Twin beds, interior design style, a 48”TV with Roku, study bar table & stools.
• Fourth bedroom- Queen en suit. Connected bath located on the main floor with French door to the beautiful back yard and decks!
• New furnace/AC unit. House stays cool in the summer and warm during the winter.
• 100 year old floors recently re-finished. Please no shoe.

Christmas gathering

My husband and I chose this beautiful home to spend Christmas in and we are so delighted we did.We hosted Christmas Eve for my in-town family and everyone was enchanted with the not only the home but the grounds.Everything one would need to cook and host a special occasion was available to us.Definitely recommend for any occasion!

Great house in quiet neighborhood

My family was in Portland for my sons wedding. It was a perfect location and close to the venue. The house was beautiful and it had been restored and was full of charm. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we all felt very safe. It had a washer and dryer - TVs in the master bedroom and room out from kitchen. 4 bedrooms had plenty of space for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Great, great place! Centrally located, super cute decor and ALL of the amenities you will need.

Bruce was the perfect virtual host. I seriously could not have asked for anything different. He reached out via email about a week with every detail I could possibly need and then followed up via text when he didn’t hear back from me. I really appreciated him going out of his way to ensure that our stay was perfect. We had one question for him about an item in the house and he immediately responded. There was every single amenity you could imagine on the premises which is so helpful when you just want some darn foil or ziploc bags! I know y’all know what I mean! I can’t imagine how anyone can be disappointed with this place or the owner. It’s impossible.

Avoid this property!

Guest sat on a bed and it collapsed. Clearly it was inferior quality and faulty and appeared to have been repaired previously. Reported to owner immediately. when I got home, owner added $240 charge to repair with no communicatoion. Ridiculous! Add to this the aggressive and unfriendly language in welcome letter and it is clear that you have a property owner only concerned with their benefit and taking advantage of people

Wedding weekens

Perfect quiet neighborhood. We had our 3 adult children with us. Close to shops restaurants and park. Nice large enough house for us to spread out and get ready for the wedding party which was held at a local winery and then brunch the following day at a nearby park. Enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again next year

a week of family time

We all thought the house was beautiful upon arrival. Easy space to use, great for privacy and down time, and easy for cooking, dinners, games. Best of all the guys loved hanging out in the living room. Comfortable! I was so happy that the beds were good. Everything you need too, from fluffy towels to umbrellas. We would all recommend it. While we are four adults, this can accommodate more people too. The stairs would be hard for someone who was immobile. The owner was easy to contact and responsive to our needs, could not have asked for more, and really appreciate it.

Portland Getaway

Overall great location and neighborhood. House was well kept. Kitchen is very nice with top of the line appliances. Lots of places to sit and relax. My friends all thought the house was great with comfortable beds and lots of space.

Comfy home in quiet neighborhood

Beautiful, well-appointed home with plenty of space for three adults. Plenty to do within walking distance. No TV in shared areas except within small kitchen nook.

Location, location, location

We very much enjoyed our stay in Wisteria House, especially sitting on the front porch. We loved the location and enjoyed nearby restaurants, food trucks, and pubs. Bus stop to ride downtown was 2 blocks away. The house was clean, well appointed, and roomy. The beds were comfortable with quality linens. We appreciated the bath products. Wisteria House lived up to its photos!

Home away from home

Great house, craftsman style, nice front porch with hanging wisteria. Lovely interiors with very comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed our family stay for our son’s graduation from Reed College!

Girlfriends reunion

What a great house! We enjoyed everything about our stay --- the front porch for happy hour, the dining room and kitchen for casual dinners together, the fireplace on the rainy day we stayed in, the lovely neighborhood walks, the comfortable bedrooms, the little kitchen sitting nook where we enjoyed our morning coffee together. It was the perfect house for five long-time girlfriends to spend the week together. Excellent!

Lovely craftsman style home in heart of NE

I rented this home for my bridal party and I to prepare for my upcoming wedding. The home itself was GORGEOUS and definitely fit everyone comfortably. The closeness to the 84 highway and walkable neighborhood was a huge plus! Everything was well equipped and organized with lots of hang out and sleeping space. I would 10/10 recommend this beautiful home :) Thanks again Bruce!

60th Birthday Celebration for 4 Friends

Great location, gorgeous home, very well kept, and great communication by owner. Love the front porch, cozy fireplace and backyard. I do wish each of the 4 rooms had a big bed, as it required one of us to sleep in a twin bed while the others had queens or a king. One confusing item on charges, but that’s my fault for not following up. I’d recommend to anyone.

Okay for short stays only

There is a lot to say, so I’ll start with the positive: 1. Owner was very responsive 2. King bed was very comfortable 3. The house is roomy and in a great location 4. Kitchen is adequately equipped for a short stay (only) 5. Nice front porch w/good seating Places where this rental fell short: 1. House (especially downstairs) is quite dark 2. Kitchen is not equipped for a long stay (we were there 3 mos.) 3. Hot pads in kitchen were old & nasty, disgusting 4. Coffee pot and countertops were not clean (fyi, the pot is also not thermal) 5. Dishwasher cleans but does not dry dishes 6. Refrigerator had stuff left by previous visitors and was not especially clean 7. Many spices & things left behind were old 8. Couldn’t get wine cooler to work, but also didn’t ask for help 9. No “group” TV watching - only TVs are in master bedroom & tiny kitchen nook BUT THERE WERE 2 **BIG** CONCERNS: 1. Make sure to document in the VRBO system everything that you agree to in terms of what you are being charged and are paying. We were 6 weeks into our 3 month stay and the owner came back on us and said he had miscalculated and wanted a considerable amount more money….even though it was documented in the messaging system exactly what we had all agreed to - and that we had long since already paid. 2. Owner asked us to adjust the thermostat in the house ***in order to accommodate renters in the basement.*** When our adjustment wasn’t satisfactory, evidently he must have come in in while we weren’t there because it was changed to a different temperature that was not comfortable to us, where we had it set. Had it not been for these last 2 things, this review might have been a little less harsh. As it is, this is a very honest recap of our stay.
