It is a Historical Adobe home located just steps from the top restaurants and art galleries in Santa Fe. Property is beautifully appointed. Vigas through out the house, with wood floors and rugs. I have also chosen the art in the home to reflect Santa Fe and all of its charm and history. The master bedroom features a Kiva fireplace and a king size bed, the bedroom furniture was made by a local craftsman. The guest bedroom which has a queen size bed and sitting area, is equally comfortable. The bathroom is accessible thru both the Master Bedroom and the hallway (Jack and Jill Bathroom). The kitchen is a chef's dream, it is fully equipped. The kitchen opens up into a sunny dining area, with a table that will easily accommodate six people. And a kitchen island that seats three. The living room area was designed and furnished for peace and tranquility. The house has Wi-Fi and two televisions (with cable). The home also has washer and dryer. Air Conditioning and Heat. Plus off street parking (there is plenty of parking). We have been working on the landscaping and now have a patio set for outdoor dining or relaxation.

Frank is a SUPER HOST!

Book this… fast!

Such a delightful place to stay. This home has an authentic Southwestern vibe and the attention to details is extraordinary. Frank was very attentive and always available for questions… which were few. The kitchen is supplied with everything needed. The bedroom mattresses were great. Flowers everywhere around the front porch and back door. A stellar find and I’ll be back!

Our stay was just what we wanted--walkable to the art galleries and downtown Santa Fe. The home was lovely and represented the area very well. Parking was easy and very adequate. Frank is a very considerate and attentive owner.

Great place in Santa Fe

The house is as charming as it looks in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It is nicely furnished, and the beds are very comfortable and fitted with high quality linens. The place was absolutely quiet, especially at night when the shops and galleries are closed. The location is perfect for exploring the galleries and shops along Canyon Road, and the house is a short and easy drive to anyplace one might want to visit in Santa Fe. The ample off-street parking is a great feature for a property in the popular Canyon Road area. Reviews of other Santa Fe rentals often mention a need to coordinate parking arrangements with other tenants but this house has plenty of its own private parking. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The owner is friendly and accommodating. This place is a good choice in Santa Fe.

A Beautiful Casita in a Wonderful Location

We loved being right on Canyon Road. The Casita was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and above all, enjoyed the beautiful outside space, sitting out there with a drink and watching the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees visit the flowers. The hosts were great communicators and we appreciated their recommendations for bars, restaurants and galleries to visit.

Owner was very easy to work with, fresh flowers and a newspaper every day. House was very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen with everything you would need. A true adobe style house in Santa Fe.

We loved staying at Frank’s gorgeous little home! It had everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was close enough for us to access the mountain for skiing and also accessible to all that Santa Fe has to offer. We had a very enjoyable stay and can’t wait to come back!

Romantic Christmas Getaway

This beautiful Canyon Road house is extremely well-appointed and could not be more convenient to everything we wanted to do. Frank and Gwen decorated for Christmas for us and even sent the candle lighters to light the many farolitos they set up in front of the house. We were met at the house upon arrival, given a tour and were told to contact Frank should we need anything. It was a splendid four nights! Thank you so much for such a memorable Christmas holiday!

Canyon Road getaway

Great place in a great neighborhood. The house is practically new, everything is clean. The kitchen is well appointed. Perfect place to relax. A second bath would have been nice, but otherwise perfect.

Beautiful, remodeled home with Santa Fe charm on Canyon Rd. Walk to restaurants and downtown. Quiet location. The owner, Frank, had information available for us to maximize our stay in Santa Fe- only regret- wish we stayed longer.

Great house, comfortable, amenities, good kitchen, charm galore.

I would have given a 5 star review if the house had not been at the center of a construction project involving a tractor, crew of workers and the loss of access for the car for 2 days. The workers were sweet, apologetic and we left each day by 10 and returned after work finished, so it wasn't too bad. But still, it was hard core construction outside our door. The house is charming, easy walk to town, quiet at night, gallery rich, excellent comfortable beds, all you could wish for. Loved the house.

The owner has done an excellent job of making this casita a true Santa Fe home. Well worth renting.

Thoughtful renovation and careful decoration make this house a home. Set back from Canyon Rd makes it private but very accessible to the galleries and restaurants nearby. We have it at the top of the list for return visits.

A Perfect Escape!

This is my third time staying at this place, and it's been perfect every time. The adobe is cozy and charming, and is beautifully furnished. The location is fantastic for strolling down Canyon Road and looking in the various galleries, and is in walking distance to the Plaza. If you need a place to recharge your "batteries", this is it! Frank is a wonderful host and is always accessible and responsive, if questions do come up.

Frank made sure we were well informed of how to access the property and made sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location on Canyon Road is ideal for accessing all that Santa Fe has to offer. I would recommend this location for anyone visiting Santa Fe.

Beautiful, serene, welcoming

This home was perfect for our first trip with a second child: it is so beautifully decorated that it really feels like a luxurious getaway, but everything is up high enough that we didn't spend the whole time telling kids not to touch stuff. That might seem like a picayune detail, but it meant the world to me. The kitchen is delightful, well appointed and easy to use. The beds were heavenly, so comfortable. And the location could not be beat. Try the Persian restaurant up the street, and the Teahouse. We look forward to returning!

WOW. Best VRBO ever (for us).

This was the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. Every detail from sheets, to cooking utensils, to outside lights, to a thermostat that lit up so we could see it, to brand new laundry, to huge fridge, to gas fireplace in bedroom! Cozy, easy, comfortable (every chair!) We were here in off season so it was a quiet time in Santa Fe. We walked everywhere and came home to this adorable casita right behind art galleries on Canyon road! We have friends who live right around the corner, so we intend to come back over and over!

This house is 100 years old, it was a hidden gem on Canyon Road. You can walk to amazing galleries and restaurants. A quick car ride and you could be skiing, hiking, or just enjoying our beautiful desert landscape or the mountains. There is a small river that runs behind Canyon Road, that is lined with old Aspens and assorted plants. Its a beautiful walk anytime of day.
