Enjoyed our stay in Crofton. Dan was friendly and helpful. The space was roomy and comfortable, kitchen was well supplied and spacious. We were able to explore the area with ease, walking, bike riding and ferry access to Salt Spring Island. We would recommend this host and the accommodation. Til next time.

Stunning house, beautiful town, and world-class mountain biking right on your doorstep. The suite is absolutely gorgeous, modern, and perfect for relaxing after hitting the trails. Our host was incredibly accommodating and made the entire stay seamless. If you're looking for a top-tier island riding getaway this is perfect.

The unit was open, spacious, with 2 reasonably sized bedrooms, lots of storage space, a washer and dryer, with fully stocked kitchen. The lighting in the kitchen and throughout the property was fantastic! We're getting to the age where that makes a big difference for us. There were lots of thoughtful touches in both the supplies (like Kleenex in every room, games/puzzles/activities for home, information about local attractions) and the design of the property. Lovely setting. Even the neighbors were nice when we were out looking at the lunar eclipse. We'll hopefully be able to stay there again if it's available the next time we're in the area visiting family.

Great property and location

Loved staying here. Unit was clean and well appointed. Great location to explore both Victoria and other parts of the island. Dan was a great host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time in Crofton

We had a lovely stay (short but sweet) at Dan's place in Crofton. Lovely spot. Wonderful neighbours, too. Looking forward to visiting again.

Views from outside the apartment are nice, and there's a gentle breeze that keeps summer temps in a very comfortable zone. The property is well-maintained, quiet and clean. Dan is friendly and very helpful. Crofton doesn't have much in the way of amenities for visitors, you will be buying groceries in Duncan and searching out good restaurants (notably at Maple Bay, Chemainus and Cowichan Bay). The Brass Bell Pub in Crofton served up an undesirable dinner, beware.Furniture was adequate though we found the sofa pretty uncomfortable. Kitchen is well-appointed and you should have everything you need.

This property is definitely a gem! I travelled with my 2 kids and we had a terrific stay. In fact, I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay. Everything was perfect for what we needed. Dan is an excellent host & we will absolutely stay here again.

Very clean and bright space! Bedrooms a generous size; beds in the rooms are comfortable. Minimal outdoor amenities are balanced by a location at the edge of town with easy access to the beautiful spots around Crofton in the Cowichan Valley.

Hi Christin, Just touching base as I do this time of year with past clients. Thank you for your kind review. As it was only 8/10, I would like to get some more information on how we can do better with future clients that may feel as you, about the "minimal outdoor amenities". We provide a sitting area to enjoy, a BBQ and onsite parking. With some guests, we allow the use of a trampolene and if allowed by regulations, there is a fire pit with wood, or when campfire restrictions are on, we use a gas portable firepit and extra chairs. If these were not offered or seen while on your visit, we apologise as they may simply have been in the garage due to rain or the sort. I would like to know what else you feel would be a benefit for you and other guests so we can ensure its benefit this year for all guests! Super place to stay!

The suite contained everything for a great stay. Beds were amazing, excellent shower and kitchen facilities. Dan was a great host with good communications. We'll take advantage of the bike storage garage next time we visit. Sitting outside in nice weather the view is spectacular!
