We had a wonderful stay ... the home was clean, well stocked and located right by the Seaport Museum. It was easy to walk to downtown Mystic as well! Would highly recommend this home.

Girls getaway! Perfect spot!

Beautiful property

The house was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. We were 6 women and all of us were impressed with the house. The layout was perfect for our reunion. We loved the decor. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels and linens. We are already planning to come back next year.

Amazing!!!

What a wonderful house!! Such a calm and relaxing vacation! My expectations of the house were beyond what i thought! So close to everything! Owner was so pleasant and accommodating!! I can’t wait for my next trip in that area, i will definitely stay here again...It was perfect!!

Flawless rental

Great location - able to walk to all Mystic attractions. House clean and well stocked. Only need to provide food. Nice having four bedrooms. Effortless check out is nice compared to most rentals. Only need to run dishwasher before leaving. They take care of everything else, even the trash. It is like staying at a hotel.

perfect spot

charming house. exceedingly well stocked with needed items. easy walk to Main Street and to one of the museums. owner very attentive and helpful. note: bathroom on floor 2 (this is common for many houses here) but guesthouse next to back patio an easy alternative (has full bath). may seem a bit small but we hosted a light luncheon for 25 family and friends and there was ample space. planning one making it an annual event now.

Wonderful New England Charmer

We LOVED this little house. It was super close to the historic Mystic area, right behind the Mystic Maritime museum and so much more. The house was comfortable and so nicely appointed. I really appreciated the little separate unit in the back yard that had a 1st floor bathroom. If we plan a trip back to Mystic, we would definitely pick this adorable charmer again. The host was excellent also. Very responsive to any needs we had. We were able to bring our pups along which was a big deal for us. We only stay were our pups are welcome. 5 stars isn't really enough! Just an overall great experience

Girls Getaway

Best VRBO experience ever! Property was exceptional and as advertised. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed or wanted for our 2 night girl’s getaway. Gerard is a wonderful host. Communication was great from the time of booking right through check out. By the way check in and check out process was super easy. And with 3 bedrooms in the house and 1 in the cottage, all 4 of us had our own rooms. Location was quiet and within a short walk to a couple of good restaurants. All agreed that we would definitely book with any of the Great Gull Island Properties again. Thanks Gerard. Jodie

Magical!!!

Just a beautiful home. In a perfect neighborhood. It is thebholidays and Mystic was jumping with carolers and christmas lights. Was perfect. Our host Gerard was amazing, very helpful and prompt with replys. If we needed anythign he was there for us, very professional and friendly. Absolutely loved the house. I actually miss the house and being able to walk the dogs outside and dlwn by that lake. And over the bridge. Just beautiful. Thank you again!

WE LOVED our stay at the cottage!!!!!!!!

Thank you Gerard for being so wonderful to us. We found our "home away from home" now. We never get to travel because we have had sick parents for years, so finding a place that isn't too far away and that will accommodate my two westies was a godsend. We are very grateful to have found you and this place. It was clean, quaint, fully stocked with everything you could possibly want. Walked into town every day. Beds super comfy too. Absolutely Perfect!

I can't say enough good things about this property. We recently spent a few nights here with our family (and dog, of course) and we had a wonderful time. The place is spotless and has every amenity we could have asked for, including a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV's in all the bedrooms, fresh, soft linens and an abundance of fluffy while towels. My niece and nephew loved the privacy in the detached bedroom with the sleeping lofts. The location was excellent - right around the corner (literally) from the Seaport and a short walk by the beautiful river to Mystic center. Lastly, the owner was fantastic - warm, friendly and responsive. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Gerard for your hospitality. :)

This was the cleanest rental property we’ve had the privilege to stay. The location to downtown Mystic and the Seaport Museum was perfect! Every night my husband and I would go outside right before 8PM to hear the church bells from across the lake.The stairs are no joke but there are baby safety gates which was perfect for our 3 under 3!Gerard, the host, was amazing and so accommodating. Thank you for a great family vacation!

We had the best time at this property. We went here for our annual girls trip—six friends from college (20 years later). It’s in such a great location, just a 10-minute walk to downtown, on a quiet street. Walk for thirty seconds and you’re looking at the river. The house had everything we needed, and the owner was very easy to get in touch with quickly whenever we had a question. We would definitely come back.

Great location

The home was very clean and in a great location. Walking distance to a lot! The only negative was the check in and check out times were firm and not flexible. We felt 4pm check in was a little late and 10am check out was early. Very kid / baby friendly, they had baby gates and a high chair at the home as well as a pack and play!

Few days in Mystic

This property is very nice, quaint and walking distance to the museum, the shops on the harbor and a short drive to the aquarium and Old Mystick. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. It was perfect!

Beautiful historic property with modern upgrades. Nice private patio and a front porch for relaxing. Right across the street from the historic Mystic Museum shipyard and minutes from the South entrance. Don't miss the Sea View Snack Bar just down the road for great lobster rolls and fried seafood.
