Welcome to Lil Orphan Annie – Your Perfect Beach Escape!

Tucked away on a quiet street just steps from the beach, Lil Orphan Annie is a bright, second-row coastal retreat ideal for a relaxing family getaway — pets included. Enjoy ocean views from the spacious deck, a large backyard, and a peaceful, uncrowded beach just a 1-minute walk away (no nearby public parking means fewer crowds).

We’re currently completing a few light updates to continue improving the home. These will not impact your stay.

Great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very welcoming and responsive. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable place about two doors down and across the street from the beach. 5 miles from the big restaurants around and right down the street from the tiki bar and market. Place was perfect for my needs and easy to get in with good communication from the host. Beach was small at high tide but all the people around were nice and family friendly.

We loved our week in this house. The beach was across the street, very convenient. Our weather was perfect, and the house was clean, well stocked and comfortable.

Great Stay

Property was just as described and just steps from the beach access. While we've stayed at fancier homes on the island, this property was clean, convenient, and a great value.

Excellent place to relax

Ocean Annie was a great place for our family four. Lots of room for all of us and plenty of sunshine. We loved its close location to the beach.

Great two days!

We haven't been to Topsail in 13 years and this was a fantastic reunion with the island! The beach house had everything we needed and was extremely convenient to get to the beach. We would stay here again!

Great place!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay! Plenty of room for a family of 5 (3 older teen boys). Clean and well stocked kitchen essentials along with ample linens. Super short walk to beach. Nice waterview. Many thanks!

Happy as a Clam at High Water

We had a great time at Little Orphan Annie on North Topsail Beach. What a relaxing place! The deck was our favorite place to hangout when off the beach. The view and sounds of the ocean were just what we'd hoped for. Beach access was quite convenient and made trips back for drinks and snacks quick and easy. The North end of the island is very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our beach vacation. The owner was super responsive to all of my questions. I loved not having to worry about house keys and being so close to the beach. The outside shower was convenient for keeping sand out of the house. Thank you!

Great stay….cozy little beach house.

Location was awesome! Didn’t mind the short walk to the beach. House was exactly as pictured. Comfy beds, had everything we needed. If we had one complaint, it would be that there’s not full cable TV. But definitely not a deal breaker for us. We would stay at ‘lil orphan Annie’s again.

Beach house

Checkin was not good. Given wrong code for lockbox. Washer broke 1st time used it. Floor in house uneven and could feel holes under vinyl floor.

Unfortunately, this guest had several issues, many of which could have been avoided by carefully reviewing the check-in instructions. The correct lockbox code and its location were clearly provided in the pre-arrival information. The washer did break during their stay, but we replaced it within a few day. As for the flooring, it was recently replaced, there are no holes, and no other guests have reported any such issue. It seemed they were more focused on finding problems than enjoying their stay.
