Great accommodations for family of 4

We had a plenty of room. Kitchen was well-equipped. Resort had many added amenities for kids. Owners and realty company were super responsive.

Wonderfulcondo with awesome views.

Condo was comfortable, well maintained and just as pictured. All check-in procedures went very smoothly. Nice bonus to have parking permits and badges included in the price.

We had a great stay overall and would book again, but a few things future guests should know.The 14th floor was amazing — incredible ocean views — and the unit is centrally located near restaurants, Dunkin, and a CVS that came in handy for last-minute supplies. Super quick walk to the boardwalk (just about a mile). Lots of kids and families Sea Colony so the place had a great feel overall. On the practical side: there's no doormat, so sand tracks through the unit, and no kitchen towels or bath mats. We were instructed to either bring or rent linens and towels (we opted to bring our own instead of renting). I just didn't realize that this meant towels for the floors outside of the shower, doormats, as well as dish towels for the kitchen. The comforters and pillows are worn and stained with no pillow covers, so you may want your own bedding too. Worth noting: the listing highlights Sea Colony's pools, private beach, fitness center, sauna, and parking, but doesn't mention that access badges and parking come with an extra fee on arrival. Not the host's choice/doing but it was a surprise to us since the listing specifically says "no additional fees." We'd stay again — the view and location make it worth it. Next time we'll just bring more supplies etc.

Thank you for your review. However, all fees are disclosed in the listing. You must have ave missed them as they are towards the end. The resort fees are charged by the resort, not by the unit owners.

There were so many things we loved about this condo! The kitchen was very well stocked without being overly cluttered, the space was more than enough for the three of us, and the view is absolutely incredible. There were a few things that kept our stay from being as comfortable as we had hoped. First, the deck furniture was pretty uninviting and uncomfortable. With such an amazing view, the deck should be one of the best parts of the condo, but unfortunately, the furniture made it difficult to sit outside and enjoy it for any extended period of time. The biggest issue for us, though, was the beds. The primary bed moved with even the slightest shift and offered very little support. The beds in the other bedroom were extremely soft—my brother actually switched from one bed to the other trying to find one that was more supportive, but neither really was.We also struggled with the TVs. The TV in the front bedroom wouldn’t initially turn on, and after nearly an hour of trying different things, we somehow finally got it working. In the living room, we couldn’t get the volume to work with either remote & had to adjust it manually using the stereo dial. Some simple instructions would be really helpful for future guests.Lastly, while the living room couches looked nice, we didn’t find them particularly comfortable for relaxing. Overall, this condo has a lot going for it—the location, space, kitchen and especially that beautiful view, with some updates focused on comfort.

We have stayed in the same condo for two years...and hope to be back next September...

This the second consecutive year we have stayed at Sea Colony...in a beautifully decorated condo overlooking the ocean. As before, the unit was sparkling clean and well-maintained. It comes complete with flat screen TV's, DVD and Blue-Ray, a wet bar and spacious rooms. The kitchen is modern, large and more than enough if one decides to cook in one night. Owners provide all the information one needs...condo support, media support, etc. They take good care of their guests. Ate at Dos Locos in Rehoboth twice...it's that good. Lamb fajitas one night and filet cooked at your table on a 700 degree lava stone. on our second visit. Weather was great and I would most certainly recommend to a friend..(just not on the week we like to go :) Look forward to going back next year. DeLane and Russ Ryan

Roomy, comfortable, well appointed

The apartment was just what we were looking for. It had a bird’s eye view of the beach and ocean from the living room or terrace. The beach or pool was just an elevator ride away. The apartment was roomy with a well-appointed kitchen and had comfortable, if somewhat dated, living room furniture. The single serving Keurig coffee maker was especially appreciated. The bathrooms had plenty of storage space as did the walk-in closet in the Master. Three flat screen TVs with somewhat more than basic cable and access to Netflix for the evenings and rainy days were great to have. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the apartment. It was an easy walk into Bethany Beach to take advantage of the many good restaurants there. All the mattresses could be more comfortable, however. We would definitely consider renting again next time we went to Bethany beach.

A Great Stay

This vacation was definitely relaxing. The condo was beautiful, clean, and spacious. I have already recommended to a friend of mine. We will definitely come back. The view was just beautiful! Our kids loved the pools and bike rides to the boardwalk. I loved all the shops and places to eat. The movie on the beach was a big hit for our kids. The owners were very prompt, helpful and kind. A great stay.
