Excellent location, but needs some updating , toilets are very tired

I‘m glad you enjoyed the location and was happy to welcome you back as a repeat guest. I’m sorry you had an issue with one of the toilets overflowing. As soon as you reported it, I called a plumber who unclogged it. His report stated that one of the guests in your party had flushed a very large amount of toilet paper and waste at one time that caused the clog. After he cleared it the toilet worked As expected, and he cautioned you to not flush so much at once. I understand that the overflow caused you distress and hope that the rest of your vacation was enjoyable.

Our stay at this 4-bedroom beach house was amazing. The best way to describe it is like stepping aboard a historic old ship. It is packed with unique nautical character, this End Up furniture, and a vintage vibe.The house is incredibly functional for a group. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything including a Keurig and cookware to make big family meals. There was a wet bar for shaking a martini. The screened in porch was perfect for the rainy day. The boat ramp is serviceable. The grill was handy and had plenty of gas. There is an abundance of both indoor and outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the bay breeze. Parking was plentiful. The bedrooms are cozy, and the bedding is mostly comfortable. If you want a clean, spacious, and wonderfully unique coastal getaway with tons of personality, this "ship" is the perfect choice!

We loved the house. The back yard on the canal was great, we paddled our kayaks into the bay. The host was very responsive. We'd stay there again!

Thank you for your review. I’m so glad you were able to enjoy the outdoor space by the water! People love the hammock, adirondack chairs to sit and talk and watch the ducks and boats float by, and picnic table for open air dining.

Great location & wonderful vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay very much, very easy walk to the non crowded dog friendly beach, we loved all activities that canal has to offer. Will try to come back next year.

Pretty water view and close to beach

The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to beach and beautiful water view on the canal. Loved eating dinner on the screened in porch and spending our evenings out there.

Quiet, relaxing

We stayed here for a few weeks in the winter. The location is great. It's away from the hustle and bustle, yet the beach is a short 5 minute walk. Kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

Location Location Location

Perfect location for the Oceans Calling Music Festival! We tired out our dogs at the beach by day and enjoyed the music festival in the evening! Easy walk to the beach across the street and easy drive to Ocean City for the festival! This is our second time staying at this house and we love it!

Canal location with short walk to ocean

Property was just as shown on site. We had an enjoyable week with excellent weather. The kids fished in the canal while we watched from the deck.

South Bethany Beach vacation

Bethany Sunsets

This is a very nice home and property. Very relaxing and quiet. I don't have anything negative to say about this rental. The owner is very nice and responsive. I love being able to have my boat tied up at the private dock. Nice ramp for kayaks and small boats. We're definitely going back.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our off-season week in October at this lovely house. It was well-equipped and my husband and I and our dog had plenty of room inside. Especially nice was the backyard, which is on a canal. We really enjoyed sitting out there in the sunshine and watching beautiful sunsets. Inside, the only downside was that we weren't able to use the fireplace because there is a crack in the liner. It would have been nice to have a fire during the chilly nights. We're looking forward to returning to this home! Owner was very responsive when we had questions/concerns.
