Unit 48- 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom Condominium with Partial South Gulf Views. | This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom condominium located on the 4th floor of our Grand Tower Building. Partial south views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico can be seen from this unit which is perfect for watching evening sunsets! To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our one bedroom units sleep a maximum of 4 people. The bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds with a 32” flat screen TV with dtv streaming service. There is additional sleeping on the queen-size sofa bed in the living room for guests’ use with a 55" flat screen TV with dtv streaming service for your enjoyment. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops and is supplied with the necessary items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. The condo has tile throughout. It is beautifully furnished with a screened in patio and the most spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.

The best getaway spot

On the beach in the tower

Overall, we enjoyed our stay on the beautiful Siesta Key beach. The condo was more than adequate with a great view of the beach. My only concerns were no easy access to restrooms and no options for food or drink at or near the beach or pool.

Unit 48 is beautiful. Nice floors, granite counters, & looks recently renovated. Furniture is a little dated,but beds comfortable. Only thing missing is room darkening shades. Great view!

Great location

I stayed in the tower on the beach. I thoroughly enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony looking at the ocean. The tower sits right on the beach. A couple min walk to access the free trolley. I will be back

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful venue where we have stayed numerous times before. BUT, never before has the unit been in such disrepair and dirty. Torn screens, filthy lanai, torn bedspreads, faded pictures on the wall, worms in the fry pans, mold in corners of shower, too much and old tables and chairs in lanai gramma’s tea cups , filthy grout in bathroom, and old and unwashed bed skirts. Management tried to best everything but still missed a lot. In my opinion the unit should be taken out of the rental program until it is updated. If it wasn’t for the location we would have checked out but we persevered.

We would stay no where else in Siesta Key!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Palm Bay Club Grand Tower is wonderful! It is right on the beach. This property is now gated and security is ever present. Unit 48 offered everything we needed. We’ve had full front gulf views but prefer the beauty and expanse of the south view. We like the 4th floor view-above the trees but not too high. The screened patio was excellent, had lots of furniture, and afforded great air flow. (We’ve stayed at a condo there with a full-on frontal view in the past. It had a glassed in patio that was miserably baking hot). The walk-in closet was also wonderful for us in unit 48. We could store/hang all of our things in there. The bathroom had great storage options also.That being said, some things REALLY need updating in this unit. The patio screens were pulled away from the frames in several areas allowing bugs to enter. Also the bathroom was pretty bad having paint peeling/mold starting near the tub/shower and door. The bathroom wasn’t a deal breaker but getting fairly close. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Grand Tower again and of course will return there!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great and the staff were excellent. The unit did not have decent frying pan to make eggs in the morning and the sauce pans were pretty lacking as well. The headboard on the bed closest to the window squeaked upon any movement including sitting on the bed and rolling over in bed. The screen on the porch needed repair. We are coming back next year but not to this unit.

Location was amazing

Overall the unit was good. We did need to clean the unit some. Especially the bathroom. Maybe a little updating and newer pots and pans. Other suggestion is to provide some foil and sandwich bags to get started or even some storage containers. Just a suggestion

Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas online and staff has them all set up for you. We wouldn’t stay anyplace else

Palm Bay Club

A view to the south along the Gulf beach was just beautiful. Pool on the intercoastal was delightful. This time of year is a great time to visit. My wife and I couldn't be more oleased with our stay at the Palm Bay Club.

Beggars Can’t Be Choosy, I guess...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I came to Siesta with my HS age son and one of his friends, where we were meeting other friends. I got the last unit available and we spent 5 nights because that was our only option to be conveniently located near friends for spring break. The condo staff and location were great. I felt comfortable and safe at all times. We stayed in unit 48 of the Towers. All units are individually owned and this unit hasn’t been cared for with guests in mind since the 80’s. Maybe 90’s if I’m being generous. Though the condo was clean, it looked tired and dirty. The beds weren’t comfy, pillows were flat and there were no extra sheets in the unit for the sleeper sofa. This was also the first vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have a wine or bottle opener. The view was fantastic though. Friends stayed in an updated 2 bedroom on the bay side for the same price as my 1 bedroom. I don’t feel like the view compensated for 5 nights of not so great sleep and having to share a bathroom with 2 teen boys 😬. I would definitely rent in this complex again, just not this unit unless the owner developed a bit more pride in ownership.

The views were amazing,but the condo could be updated in a few areas. Our beds need to be replaced with better mattresses and pillows were terrible . The kitchen is great,shower was great Bathroom needs more lighting. Big TV was good, Small had issues with changing to regular TV. We also need more Beach towels. We were given only 4 for two people for 5 nights. We usually do ARB but it's at the Palm Bay Club and everything is perfect. Shocked with everything.
