Unit 48- 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom Condominium with Partial South Gulf Views. | This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom condominium located on the 4th floor of our Grand Tower Building. Partial south views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico can be seen from this unit which is perfect for watching evening sunsets! To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our one bedroom units sleep a maximum of 4 people. The bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds with a 32” flat screen TV with dtv streaming service. There is additional sleeping on the queen-size sofa bed in the living room for guests’ use with a 55" flat screen TV with dtv streaming service for your enjoyment. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops and is supplied with the necessary items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. The condo has tile throughout. It is beautifully furnished with a screened in patio and the most spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent stay. Palm Bay club is a grat place to stay. Everything is cleaned up & looks great 2 months after hurricane. Unit 48 is beautiful. Nice floors, granite counters, & looks recently renovated. Furniture is a little dated,but beds comfortable. Only thing missing is room darkening shades. Great view!

Great location

I stayed in the tower on the beach. I thoroughly enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony looking at the ocean. The tower sits right on the beach. A couple min walk to access the free trolley. I will be back

Unit 48 Palm Bay Club siesta key florida

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful venue where we have stayed numerous times before. BUT, never before has the unit been in such disrepair and dirty. Torn screens, filthy lanai, torn bedspreads, faded pictures on the wall, worms in the fry pans, mold in corners of shower, too much and old tables and chairs in lanai gramma’s tea cups , filthy grout in bathroom, and old and unwashed bed skirts. Management tried to best everything but still missed a lot. In my opinion the unit should be taken out of the rental program until it is updated. If it wasn’t for the location we would have checked out but we persevered.

We would stay no where else in Siesta Key!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Palm Bay Club Grand Tower is wonderful! It is right on the beach. This property is now gated and security is ever present. Unit 48 offered everything we needed. We’ve had full front gulf views but prefer the beauty and expanse of the south view. We like the 4th floor view-above the trees but not too high. The screened patio was excellent, had lots of furniture, and afforded great air flow. (We’ve stayed at a condo there with a full-on frontal view in the past. It had a glassed in patio that was miserably baking hot). The walk-in closet was also wonderful for us in unit 48. We could store/hang all of our things in there. The bathroom had great storage options also.That being said, some things REALLY need updating in this unit. The patio screens were pulled away from the frames in several areas allowing bugs to enter. Also the bathroom was pretty bad having paint peeling/mold starting near the tub/shower and door. The bathroom wasn’t a deal breaker but getting fairly close. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Grand Tower again and of course will return there!

March 2024 Unit 048

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great and the staff were excellent. The unit did not have decent frying pan to make eggs in the morning and the sauce pans were pretty lacking as well. The headboard on the bed closest to the window squeaked upon any movement including sitting on the bed and rolling over in bed. The screen on the porch needed repair. We are coming back next year but not to this unit.

Location was amazing

Overall the unit was good. We did need to clean the unit some. Especially the bathroom. Maybe a little updating and newer pots and pans. Other suggestion is to provide some foil and sandwich bags to get started or even some storage containers. Just a suggestion

Not the best condo

Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas online and staff has them all set up for you. We wouldn’t stay anyplace else

Palm Bay Club

A view to the south along the Gulf beach was just beautiful. Pool on the intercoastal was delightful. This time of year is a great time to visit. My wife and I couldn't be more oleased with our stay at the Palm Bay Club.

Terrific property and friendly staff. Condo was well decorated and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to see the property includes lounges for the beach. Great location that is close to Siesta village with restaurants and shops

Beggars Can’t Be Choosy, I guess...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I came to Siesta with my HS age son and one of his friends, where we were meeting other friends. I got the last unit available and we spent 5 nights because that was our only option to be conveniently located near friends for spring break. The condo staff and location were great. I felt comfortable and safe at all times. We stayed in unit 48 of the Towers. All units are individually owned and this unit hasn’t been cared for with guests in mind since the 80’s. Maybe 90’s if I’m being generous. Though the condo was clean, it looked tired and dirty. The beds weren’t comfy, pillows were flat and there were no extra sheets in the unit for the sleeper sofa. This was also the first vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have a wine or bottle opener. The view was fantastic though. Friends stayed in an updated 2 bedroom on the bay side for the same price as my 1 bedroom. I don’t feel like the view compensated for 5 nights of not so great sleep and having to share a bathroom with 2 teen boys 😬. I would definitely rent in this complex again, just not this unit unless the owner developed a bit more pride in ownership.

best location on the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 15th year at Palm Bay Club - we were happy to see increased security - which translated to more available parking for paying residents - and more safety for residents with the increased visibility of security personnel. As always, the grounds were well-cared-for. The maintenance staff was great - promptly came promptly our door lock - and replaced a light bulb that was too dim. Sadly, it is the little things that can damage an experience - for the second year, we were dismayed to see the maid service cleaning the unit rugs with a broom because the vacuum cleaner doesn't work - I shudder to think how much sand and grime are in those rugs - and then there is the mold in the bathtub and the crud around the bathroom faucets! When we asked for our lost money when we reported the $4.00 we put in the laundry card machine, but the card registered $3.00 - the staff quite nastily said they "don't give refunds." We were notified of a water shut-off and that we would need to boil water afterwards. I asked how we would know the boiled water advisory had ended - was told we would be called. When I called the office 6 hours after the water came back on to ask when we could stop boiling - I was advised that it was never really necessary. The phone message that is given when one calls the office says that to call an apartment - call that apartment's number - just one teeny problem - there was no phone in our apartment and the front desk advised that owners are not required to put in a phone. Prices are going up by a LARGE amount next year - yet there will be no more maid service - presumably guests will have to wash their own bedding and towels during their stay - and check-out instructions threaten a large fee if departing residents they leave even the tiniest bit of "trash" behind. In other words, give us more money, but don't expect anything. Given those frustrations, yes, I would recommend the property.

Small but nice

Reviewer Comments: Overall we were happy with this rental, but the front office staff needs better supervision and some hospitality training. Our receptionist was not friendly, and almost seemed bothered that we were interrupting her. The check-in desk area appeared to be a hang-out for a lot of the staff who were socializing with each other in a loud manner. Bathroom needs attention, some mold building up on floor and around shower door.
