This was our second stay at this listing- it’s wonderful! The only disappointment this stay was that the coffee make was not there, and a Kerig was available. We do not prefer/enjoy “pod” coffee:) But we made it work! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Very clean, linens and towels provided. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including small appliances like a rice cooker and toaster. The screened balcony was great with no road noise that I noticed. There was even a little book and game library. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent home away from home

We loved our stay while we visited our son at Liberty. The home was perfect for our trip, close to everything, in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The hosts were awesome and we would love to stay there again.

This was one of our favorite places that we have stayed in Lynchburg! It was extremely clean and everything was provided to make it feel like a home. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable, and we were easily able to cook meals because the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. We will certainly stay here again soon!

We have stayed in both the up and downstairs unit and both are great. Having the full kitchen in the up unit was nice this time. We will absolutely be back. Clean and very homey/comfortable, we recommend it!

Great house to stay at while visiting LU!

Decent location. Very clean. Be careful when booking as this is a split property. The laundry is downstairs wo access if you stay upstairs. Upstairs has the big kitchen tho if that is more important… Thanks! I would stay here again!

Cozy & clean

This was my 2 nd stay. I like the close location to Liberty and the homey feel of the space. It is very clean with everything you need with the exception of washer/dryer. That would make it the perfect rental while staying in town near LU!

Clean & well-appointed

Great place to stay! Well-appointed. Clean. Great location - close to Liberty University. Close to restaurants and groceries. Owners are good communicators and give you a lot of information prior to arrival. Very helpful. Property is clean and well-kept. Beds were comfortable. Internet worked well. Will stay again when we’re in town.

The bed was super comfy, and it had quality bedding and pillows. I can be picky about the bedding so I was delighted with the lightweight blanket and quilt. The master bedroom gets the morning sun. The living area gets the afternoon sun. So beautiful. The screened porch is shaded in the afternoon/evening which makes it a cooler spot for eating outside or just sitting. There were plenty of nightlights, but also the potential for room darkening with the high-quality shutters. The kitchen is well-stocked; it even had olive oil and sugar. I loved that it was such a quiet neighborhood, and I felt safe being there alone for my prayer retreat.

Quiet and close to LU

This is our third time to stay here. We love the location close to campus but really love the water softener on the home water system. Love this place but the huge caveat is no washer and dryer so we have always had to go to a local laundromat when clothes need washing.

Thanks for taking the time to leave your nice review, J! We appreciate it. For anyone reading your review, I want to clarify that the house DOES have a washing machine and a dryer, but since the laundry room is located in the basement it is only available to people who rent the whole house or the downstairs apartment. You've only stayed in the upstairs apartment so did not have access to the laundry room. Next time, maybe consider renting the downstairs apartment instead (but only if not having a full kitchen is not a deal breaker for you since the downstairs apartment does not have a full kitchen.)
