Cute 3 bedroom cottage ... just steps from the beach

This 3 bedroom house is the heart of Hampton Beach. This house has two bathrooms and three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms have new queen size beds and the third bedroom has a set of twin beds to easily sleep 6 people. The house is furnished with everything you need for a great vacation. You'll have a comfortable eating nook, a spacious kitchen that is fully stocked with dishware and cookware and a comfy living area. We do not provide sheets or towels so you will need to bring your own linens. Pillows and comforters are there for your use. Wifi is included along with a front porch to enjoy an afternoon cocktail. This updated vacation home could not sit in a better location. You are just 100 yards from Ocean Blvd and the sands of Hampton Beach. You are steps from the best restaurants and entertainment in Hampton Beach. You can park your car and walk the rest of your stay. Speaking of parking ... this house comes with two off site parking sports. The spots are located on J Street, just two blocks away. Plan on dropping off your bags upon check-in and dropping off your car while you enjoy a short walk back to the house. You can't beat this location. The house sits quietly in the back of our property that has two houses in front. It is very private in the back where this house is located. There is also a shared gas grill and charcoal grill for your use. If you are interested in hosting a larger group, please check out the other houses located on this property on this website. Full disclosure ... This house sits on the back of a property with two other houses in front. There is a driveway in front but those spaces are allocated for the renters of the front houses. Parking for this house is a slight inconvenience but your car will be securely parked and the cost included in the rental. It’s way better than having to find your own parking plus we have discounted the house because of the off site parking. Please be aware of this parking situation. We also do not have housekeeping services. We expect our renters to respect our house and leave it as they found it. This is not a hotel. When you leave, we expect our renters to sweep the floors and vacuum out the sand. Please leave the refrigerator empty and clean and wipe down the countertops and bathrooms. If you are looking for 5 star service, please look elsewhere. This is a nice, clean, updated cottage that we enjoy in the summer and rent out to other families to enjoy as well. If you are looking for a great location and a good deal and are respectful people who will care for our house, we would love to have you stay and enjoy Hampton Beach.

Perfect hidden gem

Very close to beach and board walk. Two bathrooms and 3 spacious bedrooms. Perfect little get away spot. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced

Typical Beach type cottage. Suited all our needs. Enough room for the five of us. Would definitely book again. Was close to everything. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Awesome location to the beach. Bigger than expected. 1 AC in dining room. Fans in bedrooms. Bring kitchen towels and bathroom towels. Owner was awesome.

Perfect for what we needed it for!

Cleanliness was the only negative and that's on the previous tenants. No cleaning service, so it helps make it a great price. Location was perfect and we had a cost friendly place to lay our heads after a concert. It was a positive experience, we enjoyed our stay.

Hampton beach deep sea fishing

We spent our vacation this year deep sea fishing, going to the beach, and walking the board walk. The smell of fried dough from the deck made us walk up to the board walk at least once a day😂The crew at Eastman’s dock did a great job making sure everyone had a great day out to sea and was a five minute drive from the property. We were also surprised with how many places were on the boardwalk within a two minute walk from the property. Overall a great stay, super close to the beach, and right in the middle of the boardwalk. Only a couple minute walk to anything you might want!

Hampton Beach.

Needed a place to gather with family. Best things about this place is location and space! Its tucked in behind another house which is nice if you have young children because they dont have quick access to the street. Two bathrooms is also a major plus. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach is a plus as well. Parking is close by. Only one air conditioner in kitchen makes it difficult to keep the bedrooms cool, but windows can be opened in each room.. adding another a/c unit or two may be helpful. Especially when temps are high and humidity is thick. Overall a great stay!

Adult Weekend Away

A group of 6 adults rented this property for the weekend. We couldn't have gotten much closer to the boardwalk which was super convenient. Parking is a couple streets away and only a few minute walk from the house. The house is nothing fancy but served it's purpose. The weather did not cooperate for spending much time at the beach and we ended up spending more time in the house just playing card games and such. The table in the dining room was big enough for all of us to sit down at. The property is small but worked well for our needs. If you are looking for fancy, look elsewhere. If you're looking for someplace to rest your head at night and maybe save a few bucks on meals, this is the place for you. Having the full kitchen was great as we only ate out once and were able to prepare food at the house for everyone! We would definitely return.

Great for the price

Great location. More than enough space for five of us. Nice tiny bathrooms and kitchen, with the exception of the stove. Did not and would not use it. Previous renters left cottage in good condition. A few improve.ents that should be made are upgraded pillows( bring your own) matresses and window blind.s. Some blinds dont work. I would go back. Next time I will bring an airbed to put on master bed. You can feel the springs! Cant beat the price and location. Allow p lm entry of time to clean on check out day. There are eight rooms to cover, and my group used all of them. We parked in the lot across the street for $25 for each day/overnight

Disaster - I could not convince my guests to stay so we found other lodging

We learned our lesson. Did not meet expectations nor did it look like the nice photos online. Looked like no maintenance was done on the unit to keep it presentable. The unit smelled in places. Perhaps a little care, deep cleaning to remove odors, and repainting and clean up should have been done prior to listing the unit. Paint was literally ripped and scraped off the walls and rust was seeping through paint trim. We smelled odors. There was a couch (that looked like it was brought in from the curb) and was ripped in many places with sand dumped on it. There was a spot of blood on a bedspread. The appearance was bad enough to made us think that perhaps even bed bugs might be present. We didn’t stay to find out!

Pros and cons

When my family and I arrived for our stay, we were a bit thrown off by how much cleaning needing to be done. The description does state it’s up to tenants to clean themselves upon leaving so I guess we can assume it was the last tenants fault? The floors were not mopped or swept and there was broken glass by the dish drainer and tons of dust/dirt on furniture/appliances including stove. The bathroom toilets were clean though so that was good. There is also plenty of cleaning supplies so after we cleaned upon arrival it wasn’t as bad. The rental itself is cute enough, especially for the price but plan on bringing your own pillows and blankets on top of your linens for beds bc I’m assuming the ones there are never washed. There’s also a really dirty rug in the living area that should just be rolled up and thrown out. Also the shared grill for the 3 rentals can get tricky bc at times when we wanted to use it, renters from the other house were already using it. The rental is basically in the back area behind the other 2 rentals down a small walkway. The location as far as being close to the beach, shops, restaurants is great, we were able to walk to all of those. I think it would really benefit owners and guests though to pay a cleaning person like $100 to do a quick clean before next guests arrival. I wouldn’t have minded paying an extra $100 to arrival to a cleaner rental. The owners were very fast and helpful with their replies about anything we contacted them about.

Summer cottage, comfortable . Basic necessities. We just stayed one night . Approximately 1 block from beach. Close to restaurants. The house sits behind 2 other homes. Parking is approx 2 blocks from house.

The location was ideal. The parking was a bit of an issue with unloading and loading the car up, but we were aware of this when we booked so that wasn't factored into the rating. When we got to the location the deck was warped and that was the beginning of the cosmetic issues. The whole inside the walls were scratched up, bowed, or the paneling was chipping. A bunch of the windows didn't lock, the one shower had a leak, the cabinet doors in the kitchen didn't shut all the way, the countertops were peeling on the edge, the light switches didn't make a ton of sense where they were located and what they went to. The headboard on one of the beds wasnt secure, the blinds were tattered. There were so many things broken or just so worn. On top of that the place was not cleaned by the people who were there before us. Sand everywhere and dirty bathrooms.

Location Location Location

This property has an amazing location. The location is the best part of this property. As noted by the owner this is not a pristine property. It needs a coat of paint and a through cleaning as they do not have a cleaning company. We used this as a place to stay which it worked well for. We were not comfortable preparing food at the home. Would be a great place for a large family.

We have stayed in this cottage twice. Really enjoy the space it provides and 2 bathrooms. Could definately use some maintenance and repairs. The deck gets extremely hot and wish there was some type if awning or protection from the sun while sitting outside. And cottage needs more then 1 ac unit. But do really like that they now include 2 parking spots with the facility. Is in a great location for walking to beach and the strip.

Grubby hole

The place could be very cute with a lot of TLC! To start with, the parking is two blocks away not convent at all. In which you did not tell us until after we got the key number. The cottage it self the walls had holds in them and very grubby looking. A musty smell when you walk in. Shower in one bathroom very large crack.Underwear left under bed in bedroom.broken shades and the bed are noisy and shagging springs.

Beach Cottage

The host described it perfectly. It was only a 1/2 a block from the beach. Almost directly aross from the playground for those of us with kids. Make sure you bring everything you would need for spices, condiments, cooking oil if you plan to use the kitchen at all. You cant beat the price and location and fortunately the guest before left it decent. I would recommend and definitely stay again. !you need for the kitchen spice, condiments, oil, ect...

Creating memories with my daughter and grandchildren!

I was very impressed. It was nice tucked away in the back of two other properties. The kids played out in yard with no worries. The common ground where they had a gas grill and bbq along with a table to sit outside was awsome! Plenty of privacy! Close walk to the beach, close walk to everything. I'd go back in a Heart Beat!! Thank you for a wonderful time!!
