You'll know you're home when you see the red front door and feel the comfortable familiarity of the white picket fence. Beautiful Floridian palms and mangrove trees provide desired privacy without obscuring your view. The driveway is snug to the home so no need to worry about long luggage hauls! Enter the home and you'll be greeted with elegant yet relaxed decor and bright natural lighting. Furthermore, on the first floor of the home is one of two primary bedrooms, complete with a large en suite bathroom.

Take the stairs to the second floor and you'll find a real treat! An open floor plan and numerous windows lend to the expansive feel of the living and dining rooms. Granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances adorn the kitchen. A breakfast bar and island provide additional seating for the whole family. French doors and tall windows provide all the light you'll need during your morning and evening meals. On this floor, you'll also find the other guest bedrooms. Beach Blessing

House was very nice. It was convenient to pool and ocean. However, for a house that will sleep 15, there needs to be more than 2 spaces for cars. You can't transport 15 people in 2 cars, especially if children have to be in car seats. There needs to be a place close by that is protected and can be used for overflow parking.

Great Location...Average Value

I grew up going to this area of Florida and have stayed at a wide range of condos and homes. As far as location goes, this is a really good locale. Close to Seaside/Water Color and shopping is convenient. Not surprisingly, the inside of the house shows its age and wear. The cleaning service left quite a bit to be desired. Sand on the floors, previous tenants dishes left in bedroom. Tile floors didn't appear to have been mopped. The master suite is large but the master closet is poorly designed and way too small...we had to hang clothes in the bathroom closet. The gulf view from the Master deck is awesome...in the summer, you don't get the sunset view the VRBO shows you but it is a top feature of this home. For a home that is not gulf front, you get a really good view due to the 3rd floor deck and the adjoining property homes are only 2 levels. The house is wired with a very nice speaker system througout but the entertainment system components are outdated (they actually have a VHS) and the DVR (cable) makes a constant humming noise that you eventually get used to but was annoying. The kitchen is well stocked but didn't have the basics like dish towels or pot holders. The grill is old but works fine...buy or bring a wire brush to clean off the grill...no grill cleaning tools are provided. The walk to the beach is a little deceiving...it appears that you can walk out the back of the house and go directly to the beach access right behind the house but there is no access to the adjoining private property behind the house...you have to wind your way through the neighborhood trail to get to the Summers Edge Beach access. Still not a bad walk but longer than it appears. The house does not come with a beach chair set up so be prepared to rent chairs or bring your own. There are no beach chairs or supplies at the house. For families with tweens and teens there is not much to do other than beach and pool. You can rent bikes but its a pretty good ride to Seaside on busy 30-A. Parking is tight...3 cars max. Pool is right there...not large but adequate. NOTE: Upon arrival, avoid going to Publix on Saturday evening or Sunday morning...it's a nightmare. If you must get basics, take one or two of your group, grab the small baskets and get in the Express Checkout...lines were down the aisles for the customers trying to get theIr weeks supplies. Overall I'd say great location but an average house / value for the weekly rate we paid.
